Villa élégante avec piscine privée chauffée, La Cala De Mijas et Fuengirola

Élégamment meublée, VILLA MIGUEL est une villa d'inspiration scandinave bien équipée aménagée sur un seul niveau pour des vacances reposantes en famille, été comme hiver, nichée dans un coin calme de Cerros del Aguila avec une vue imprenable sur la montagne / la mer. La piscine privée est fermée et vous avez la possibilité de chauffer la piscine toute l'année moyennant un supplément. Idéal pour les familles avec de jeunes enfants, la piscine a une extrémité peu profonde, attrape le soleil toute la journée et est entourée de vastes terrasses ensoleillées isolées (vous pouvez bronzer invisible) surplombant la mer et Campo rural. Le hall d'entrée mène à une cuisine ouverte pour le petit-déjeuner, 2 chambres, une salle de bains et un salon spacieux. Le salon (WIFI, TNT UK et TV écran plat) mène à la piscine et aux terrasses via une véranda avec portes-fenêtres, puis à la chambre principale et en suite. Les chambres ont la climatisation / chauffage et le salon a un poêle à bois. Supermarché, bars et restaurant sur l'urbanisation. Une voiture est recommandée avec des plages de sable tranquilles au château de Sohail à 5 minutes et à La Cala à 7 minutes, à l'hypermarché à 6 minutes et à 5 parcours de golf à moins de 5 km.

Lovely New Year holiday!

Gorgeous Villa, lots of space, everything we needed and more. The heated pool was perfect for the children. Very nice quiet area. Amazing views, I would say you definitely need a car. A beautiful part of the world to explore! We would definitely stay here again.

Stunning Villa

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at this stunning villa. The interior is perfect and very spacious. It has everything you could possibly want! The exterior has plenty of terraces to choose from and the table tennis table was a big hit! Although the weather was lovely, the pool heating was a massive plus. The large trees around the garden had recently been thoroughly pruned which allowed for uninterrupted views, which were stunning. Ginny and Peter were extremely helpful from booking to arriving. Thank you for renting us your beautiful villa - we hope to be back soon.

Wonderful

Having just returned from Villa Miguel after having 2 wonderful weeks, I would like to thank Ginny & Peter for sharing their holiday home. There was five of us aged between early twenties an mid seventies and the villa suited all our needs. Villa Miguel is tastefully decorated throughout and not only is the kitchen well equipped, but the whole villa is well equipped, that all you would really need to take is a few clothes. The pool is wonderful and is in the perfect location on the villa plot, with the views being absolutely stunning. Villa Miguel is good value for money and we will all be returning. My recommendation is that this a 5 star villa and we did book up early, but it was worth waiting.

October 2014 Holiday

Fantastic homely Villa, with superb décor and furniture with 3 comfortably sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen, Wifi connection included, easy to attach phones, tablets etc. The Villa was situated in quiet location with excellent views with access to community tennis court, well priced restaurant and small supermarket within walking distance. The Villa pool was fantastic and larger than what the pictures depict, it also benefits from the sun from mid morning until sunset . The villa is a five minute drive from Fuengirola sea front promenade and within half an hour drive to Malaga ,Torromelinos ,Marbella , Puerta Banus and Benalmadena and only 1.5 hours drive to Gibraltar The Villa provided everything you could possibly need, hairdryers, straightners, towels, the list is endless. Would thoroughly recommend the Villa.

Excellent Just what we needed a home from home

This is the second time we have as a family visted the villa . Both times have been enjoyable stays due to its facilties and location. Its a short easy drive from Malaga Airport , close to excellent beaches , a large supermarket and shops . In terms of customer service we cannot fault the owners , we had a problem which needed sorting , we emailed Ginny at home and the next day a handyman arrived to solve the issue , prompt and personal service as promised . The Villa was clean and all the facilties mentioned were as detailed right down to the towels. A definate sucess was the private pool to cool down in as the weather was in the 30 degree range all week. The new table tennis table was well used and a good addition to the villa. La Cala de Mijas is about 5km , has a great beach , good bars and restaurants without the big town traffic or people. We also used the onsite pool available to the Villa users and this has a good bar and restaurant a short walk away if you fancy a beer. All the shops and beaches are no more than 10 minutes drive max so no long drives required, we had a small micra drove it all week and 13 euros in petrol was the bill!, even better no parking charges anywhere we went. All said we would revist for third time and may well do so

top holiday spot

Me and my friends had a great holiday here! A beautiful villa with beautiful views of the mountains. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very neat. Communication with Peter and Ginny was also great, as well as with manager Cathy. For example, we found two wasp nests near the swimming pool and within fifteen minutes someone was there to remove them. So if you want a top holiday in a quiet place, close to shops and the beach and other nice towns, this is definitely recommended!

Highly recommend

Excellent property which suited both of us. Area is quiet. Pool is not overlooked , fantastic views. We didn't hire a car as we were comfortable staying in the villa until evening when venturing into Fuengirola to eat. Communication with the owner superb .

Juste splendide !!!

Nous avons séjourné avec ma compagne et mes 2 bébés dans cette villa. La maison est irréprochable, tout est nickel. Chaque pièce est confortable, propre , jusqu'aux odeurs de lessive dans tout le linge. Les hôtes ont pensé à chaque détail pour votre confort , jusquau ustensiles, au matériel pour votre arrivé, au programme télé ect. Leau de la piscine est contrôle par quelqu'un qui vient régulièrement. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, et nous y reviendrons très bientôt. Si je pouvais mettre + de 5 étoiles je l'aurais fais !

Cosy Villa Miguel

Very cosy nice house that has everything you need for a nice stay. The view is lovely during all day! Eating breakfast on the small terass in the shadow watching the mountains, or having dinner on the big terass looking at the beautiful houses or the mountains. The Big pool was cool and very nice in the heat. If there was any problem the help was just a call or email away. 👌🏻 Not so much places to eat nearby, but 10 minutes with car and you reach Fungerola that is a big city with everything! Also to go to Michas Pueblo is 15 minutes away by car and you can eat lovely dinner/lunch in the mountains. Very cute!! Theres a small mini supermarket within 6 minters walk. Nice to have close. We will absolutely go back! :)

Falta de limpieza y de medios.

El alojamiento no estaba limpio, máxime en estos tiempos en los que vivimos con el covid 19. Han faltado medios, como la falta de gas para poder cocinar únicamente en unos fogones de gas. El garaje no cumplía con unas garantías mínimas, pues tuvimos que apartar accesorios para poder aparcar. La barbacoa era impresentable, tuvimos que comprar una parrilla por la falta de higiene. Algo a destacar para bien, la piscina, fantástica.

Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet. Die Aussicht sehr schön. Wir haben uns recht wohlgefühlt. Probleme wurden schnell behoben. Leider haben die Bäder sehr unangenehm gerochen.

Just as described

We spent a lovely week here just after Christmas. The villa is gorgeous and was child friendly for my exploring 1 year old. Peter & Ginny were extremely helpful throughout the booking process and for when we were there too. The villa has everything you need and is in a perfect location too. We are thinking of another visit!!!

A real home from home!

The villa is very well equipped and has lovely views of the surrounding mountains. The owners have thought of everything with towels supplied, books, games and much more. The pool is a good size and the option of pool heating is available. The whole villa is clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. We'll definitely return.

Perfect !

When you rent a villa for a holiday you are looking for somewhere which you settle into immediately - enter "Villa Miguel". The owners have given a lot of thought to making the interior comfortable , well equipped and ready for purpose and you just relax as soon as you walk in the door. Outside - you would struggle to find a better view from any terrace in Costa del Sol. The views of the mountains - up to Mijas are beautiful and you can even get a seascape from the corner of the terrace. The pool is lovely and the sunbathing areas are all secluded and private. Due to being raised up you can catch a breeze which is most refreshing (and necessary in the hot summer months). Everything you need for a great holiday is provided - you just have to supply yourselves. (oh and a car is a pretty much need to have) Overall a one word summary - "Perfect".

lovely villa in a stunning location

The villa was really comfortable a genuine home away from home. The showers are really powerful, the kitchen really well equipped and of course the views are spectacular. there are numerous terraces so you can really enjoy the outside space throughout the day. We would definately stay again. highly recommended.

Fantastic Villa

We have just returned from a brilliant 2 week holiday at Villa Miguel. Great value for money. We went as two couples and the layout of the villa was perfect for this, allowing privacy. Everything was extremely clean and kitted out very well indeed. I was very impressed that there were even champagne as well as wine glasses - it seems a great deal of thought has been put into both the villa and the contents. We had one or two small maintenance issues (which could happen to any property in constant use) and these were dealt with by the local agents in a prompt manner who were very easy to get hold of. The beds were very comfortable and the towels plentiful. Both of these were changed in the middle of our stay. There was plenty of outdoor seating, both in the sun and shade. As previous reviews have stated, the pool is much bigger than it appears in the photos. I got a good swim in every day. The area is quiet and yet not far to drive to bars, restaurants, shops etc. Our favourite days out were to Puerto Banus, Benaldena Marina, Ronda and Mijas Pueblo but there is so much to explore, we would need many more holidays there ! We would not hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to return soon. Thanks to Ginny and Peter for their wonderful communication throughout.

Amazing Villa

We stayed here over the Easter holidays with my Daughter her partner and 8 month old Grandson . The villas was amazing , extremely well equipped[ including the baby]Spotlessly clean. Near the beach and shops it was a perfect location to explore this part of Spain but beautifully quiet in the evenings . The pool is much larger than it appears in the photo. As a keen swimmer I had a decent swim every day. I would recommend this villa to friends and family .

Villa Miguel

We stayed here as a party of 4 people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is very well situated to visit different places in the costa del sol. The instructions to find the villa were excellent and even arriving in the dark did not present a problem. It is a very homely villa, beautifully furnished, very welcoming and well equipped. The pool and outside areas are beautiful. We would love to holiday here again and would highly recommend it.

Owned by a brother and sister and their respective families - one keen cyclists and the other keen golfers. We have been holidaying in the Mijas Costa area for nearly 25 years and have owned property on Cerros del Aguila throughout that period. Our children first learned to swim in the pool and holidayed on the sandy beaches below Sohail Castle and in La Cala just minutes away. The children have grown up now so our villa is yours to enjoy even for those peak weeks.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Secluded position, the views, the layout of the villa, the views, the pool and by the way did we mention the views? This villa, one of the first on the estate, has been owned by only two families since it was first built. We can claim no credit for the villa layout - that is all down to the previous Scandinavian designers and owners who clearly knew what they were doing. They also designed the villa so that it would stay cool in Summer but could be used in winter - very few villas have the luxury of a wood burner. So there you have it, we love it and we hope you will too.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There is great cycling from the door - whether you want to cruise along the Paseo early morning with all the joggers, ride to the beach at La Cala or take on the strenuous climbs to Alhaurin or Mijas. You can play golf on some of the finest courses in the world - many of championship quality. There are miles of award winning sandy beaches. But, if we're honest, our guests and friends have found it almost impossible to drag themselves away from the pool......oh and those views!
