The stay was great. We were 4 (2 adults & 2 children)
The flat situation is very good, easy to find and to live. It is a friendly place and clean.
The owner is very nice and answered all the questions before and during our stay.
We recommend it.
Itâs hard to beat the value & location in Courchevel 1850 - Steps from the driveway to the Jardin Alpin bubble stop or strap on the skis and minutes to village centre. Convenient kitchen setup ideal for a couple to refuel & relax in the evenings, separate ski locker and boot drying room available just outside apt door.
Right outside the lift Jardin Alpin G3 and very close to the slopes. A bit small for 4 people, but manageable. Suitable for families. Well equipped kitchen. The house was well heated and warm water was always accessible.
Great location for kids family cosy well built appartment
Weve stayed at the Mercure across
The road many times and itâs our preferred location for the family as itâs easy to ski back to
Little icy at the Bottom of the path made it hard to walk down with ski boots but thatâs not the owners fault and we managed fine.
The jardin bubble can take you into town for the evening ina few minutes and literally
2mins from the appartment.
Very good located appartment, space is used efficiently
We spent a very nice week in the appartment. All windows offered views to snow and trees. For skking it is very comfortable that the locker for the ski is directly in front of the appartment and that there is a small private space for ski boots and stuff in the basenent. We enjoyed that the kitchen included an owen. The owner was communicating very well and the descriptions included all necessary information. We would like to rent it again.
Lovely apartment with good amenities/ personal ski locker and small walk to lift
We were a family of 2 adults and 2 young teenagers. The apartment was a good size for us, but as two people sleep in the living area you need to keep things tidy or the space could look cramped. The bedroom is small but was for our family not an issue and it was nice to have a separate place to sleep. There is storage space under all three beds but you will need to lift up the bed to access them. The facilities are great, oven / hob / microwave all work well, more than enough plates / glasses and cutlery. Shower is hot powerful and a good size. The ski locker is heated so clothes and boots easily dry overnight. The apartment is right next to the entrance to the property but we were not in anyway bothered by people coming and going, if you sleep past 9.00/9.30 then you may hear people leaving to go skiing in the morning. We were able to find a parking space easily, but places filled up quickly on the Saturday. After a small walk you get on a lift that takes you to Courchevel center or you can ski down via the ski run to other lifts. The lift also operates in the evening so you can get to the village without walking. There is also a free shuttle bus ever 30 minutes for when the lift closes. Great place for a weeks skiing with access to the 3 valleys ski area which was huge.
Not a great experience unfortunately. We were informed the day before leaving for our trip that bedsheets and towels would not be provided. This made life quite difficult since we were coming by plane and had to scramble to find a way to pack bedsheets and towels into our already fully packed bags at the last minute. Luckily, we were told that at least pillows and duvet covers would be provided. When we arrived, although we did find those pillows and duvet covers: they were quite poor quality and very scratchy. The bed itself amounts to nothing more than a scratchy 2 inch mattress on top of a wooden bench. Itâs also in a very confined space that makes you feel trapped and we ended up with many bruised elbows and knees from banging them on the walls every time we turned over in our sleep. Not exactly the most comfortable bed to return to after a long day out on the slopes. We then come to find that the apartment has no Wi-Fi connection. Who doesnât provide guests with free Wi-Fi in 2023?!?! Itâs amazing how uncomfortable one can feel without a solid internet connection in this day and age. Parking at this place is also a nightmare (not the fault of the hosts - thatâs just Courchevel for you). We also discovered on our first day skiing that the place isnât TRULY ski in/ski out as advertised: although itâs quite close to the gondola and the nearest green run, you must navigate a rather steep and icy driveway to get to or from (quite difficult and borderline dangerous to do in ski boots). I must give credit to the hostess: she was very polite and quick to respond to our inquiries, but ultimately was not very helpful in making our stay more comfortable. This place may seem like a great deal but beware: very very little is provided and that can make for a rather uncomfortable stay. Although more expensive, I would certainly opt for a hotel next time over an apartment like this.
