Cette villa nouvellement construite (construit en 2011) est un exemple parfait de la symbiose de fonctionnement entre le décontracté flair et histoire de la Méditerranée, et le perfectionnisme moderne. Villa Ancora est situé dans le quartier le plus noble et le vert des Dubrovnik- Lapad. Il se trouve dans un quartier calme, loin de tout le trafic de la rue et sans tracas, et même si elle est protégée par les arbres d'une forêt environnante, il offre une vue imprenable sur le port de Gruz, et le monumental pont Franjo Tudjman. La Villa se trouve au cœur de Dubrovnik- la plage la plus proche de sable et du centre commercial sont à seulement 5 minutes de marche. Une promenade dans la vieille ville ne prend que 20 minutes, ou 10 minutes en bus.

Very comfortable villa with good facilities within walking distance of Lapad beach and Gruz port. Alen (host) was very easy to deal with about booking/check in and helpful while we were there.

Dubrovnik holiday

We had a wonderful week staying at the villa, we were celebrating my retirement. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location of the villa was great within easy reach to restaurants beach and supermarket. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Paradise Found!

From the booking to the farewells, our experience with Villa Ancora was truly perfect. The villa is situated in its own garden paradise. Lovely, private, but it is within easy distance to beaches, public transportation, the local promenade. Our large family gathering was easily accommodated and all agreed it was a perfect choice. The view from the villa is spectacular from dawn to evening. The hosts are more than hosts, they quickly feel like old friends. A must stay!

Great location, very nice living quarters.

We stayed here for 2 nights and very much enjoyed our trip. It was everything we needed and more. The pool area was a huge plus, even though we were out and about for most of the time it was nice to have a morning coffee out there and a late afternoon/late evening swim. We don’t cook or use the kitchen other than to make coffee/tea but it seemed to be well stocked with what one might need to cook. The owner was extremely accommodating and helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. As other reviews state there are a lot of stairs to get to the villa but the owner is very helpful with luggage during check in and we don’t even utilize his help (which was offered) for check out as we didn’t find it to be a big deal. And I note we are 5 adults with 5 massive suitcases maxed out to the 50lb limit. The villa has great views, which means it is high on the hill, so there are also stairs involved in walking down to the port, or one could walk the less direct route along the street. We liked the stairs as they took us right to our back door, however maybe this location as a whole isn’t the best choice for much older travelers. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in Dubrovnik! We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean, extremely pleasant hosts, living in a different part of the house. They even hung our laundry to dry, without being asked when we were out for the day! Excellent location for walking, shopping and dining.

We had a great stay at Alan's house. We had a friendly welcome and everything we need was explained to us. The house is well equiped and we found everything we needed to make our meals. -> Great house we can recommend to 100%!

Absolutely wonderful!

We can’t rate the villa, and it’s owners, more. They were the most loveliest hosts who were so accommodating. The villa is spotless and really well equipped, presented and exactly as the pictures show it. The location is in the middle of Lapad- you can walk to the beach or port really easily and the views of the port are stunning. We can’t recommend this place more. Only thing to be mindful is that if you have a pram/difficulties with stairs this may not be ideal for you if you don’t have help- although the Ubers were so cheap to use don’t necessarily let that put you off.

Exceptional Property

This property has a great location with exceptional views and great amenities. The villa was clean, mattresses were firm, the kitchen well-equipped, and the garden and the pool wonderful in every way. But what made our stay most enjoyable was the great service we received from the owners (Ivo and Jolanda Peric). They took care of everything. It really helps when the host lives so close-by. We were even treated to a delicious BBQ by Mr. Peric. And Mrs. Peric arranged for Covid tests done at the property to make our return to the US easier. We have nothing but gratitude for the hosts. The only thing we would like to mention is that there are a few sets of stairs to climb in order to get to the front door. We hope to be back some day.

Peaceful location with great views

The villa was perfect for our party of 6. It’s set in a quiet location with easy access (down steps) to the harbour. The check in process was really easy and Alen had his mother let us in early. Would definitely stay again!

Villa Ancora

Beautiful stunning villa that had amazing views over the gruz harbour. Hedges need trimming as beautiful view will nearly be blocked. Although only a 5min walk to the centre when walking down the hill but much longer & tiring walking back up it (especially with shopping). Location of villa is located at the rear of owners home but have to say the owners were incredibly friendly, helpful & respectful so would highly recommend as a great place to stay in lapad area of Dubrovnik

Perfect in any way

We couldn't wish for more. After a busy business week this was a well deserved retreat for me and my colleagues who chose to spend our final days in Dubrovnik at the privacy and relaxed settings of Vila Ancora instead of the 5 star hotel we spent a week at. It had everything you can wish for, the views are great, the property at a very high standard and the hosts are very kind, flexible and helpful. Wishing them all the best! Our Beautiful Wedding in Dubrovnik

Me and my new wife are recently married in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and we had the most perfect wedding. We arrived on the Sunday and got married the following Friday so we had a weeks holiday before the big day. We stayed in the Villa Ancora with 6 of our friends and it is beautiful, modern, clean, spacious and is in a perfect location to see all that Dubrovnik has to offer. Ivo and Jolanda are very friendly, kind people and are always available if you need anything. I couldn't recommend this Villa enough and a lot of our guests who stayed in various villas across Dubrovnik all agreed that ours was the nicest and very affordable split between 8 guests who all fit comfortably.
