Casa Sao Pedro comprend deux appartements élégants et spacieux de trois chambres avec un mobilier contemporain et d'une décoration douce créant une ambiance d'été chaleureux. Identique dans chaque détail, chaque appartement dispose d'un salon avec un canapé en rotin de style et fauteuils, climatisation, cheminée, TV et d'un balcon ou d'une véranda baignée de soleil du matin. Deux chambres à deux lits (avec Ac) et une chambre double avec climatisation, chacune décorée de façon individuelle et décorative et partagent deux salles de bains indépendantes. A l'extérieur, la piscine rafraîchissante et une terrasse jouissent d'un degré amende de la vie privée, avec un barbecue pour les repas al fresco sur les soirées d'été Algarve longues.

Fantastic location

Our family of 6 stayed 10 nights in Alvor. The apartment is within walking distance of everything in Alvor. We didn't have a car and didnt need one. Very close to two good supermarkets, Golfland, beach, restaurants and lovely old streets of Alvor. Got an Uber to Portimao and Slide and Splash no problem. Lina was a great host, and was easy to contact when needed. We had a problem with drains smelling and she sorted it out straight away. Also supplied extra towels no problem. Super holiday!

Wonderful stay,attentive host. Spacious apartment with great views very close to centre of Alvor,but quiet. Big pool,very deep so great for teens. Loved Alvor and will return.

Wonderful Family Holiday

Probably the best family holiday that we've had with our 7 year old granddaughter. 3 bedroom apartment with pool and a sea view from both balconies. Ideally situated for local shops,supermarkets and the many fantastic restaurants. Beach is about a 15 minute walk. The owner lives on site, made us feel very welcome and always replied very quickly throughout our booking process. She even arranged for a local taxi to collect us from and return to Faro airport.

Recently refurbished, but poorly, tile off in the bathroom so water over the floor, everything seems to have been painted with white emulsion, Some drawers painted shut. Lovely roomy apartment, with 2 terraces, so one of them is sunny all day. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen/ dining area. Large sitting room. Maria is a delightful lady, who was very helpful. Would stay there again if in the area.

Its the little touches that matter

I know this may seem a strange title, also if I say coat hangers but lots of them make a difference to a holiday rental and something that is a home from home. Loved this apartment, in a great location, its quiet but less than 5 mins walk to bars, shops, restaurants. The apartment was clean, everything you need to self cater, big fridge, oven, washer. Very comfortable beds, air conditioning if required, but another plus was nets on the windows meant you could keep the windows open and not be eaten alive which is much better than air-con. Large wardrobes, as I've said loads of good quality wooden hangers, drawers, mirror near a plug (ladies you know how annoying it can be when you can't do your hair because the mirror is to far away from the plug sockets. Large walk in showers with plenty of hot water, large drench head and smaller side shower for when you don't want your hair wet. The pool was spotless, comfortable sunbeds and plenty for guests in both apartments. We're already planning our next stay. Alvor is great as well - loved it

Plumbing issues

The property is in a perfect location, v close to town centre. It is nicely decorated with lovely views. Lena, the owner who lives onsite, dealt with a couple of minor issues very quickly. However, The cleaner hadn’t cleaned the shower tray which was blocked with hair and soap scum and there was a mouldy tea towel in the washing machine. I sorted this myself as I didn’t feel it was worth troubling the owner with. The plumbing in the bathroom is of a poor standard. One of the toilets is leaking waste onto the floor leaving towels and mats smelling of urine. The traps haven’t been fitted properly so there is a constant smell of sewage. We have stayed in numerous properties in Alvor and have never experienced this before When we pointed this out we were told we were being unreasonable and were asked to leave. We were refunded the nights we didn’t use and left the next day. Hopefully this issue has been rectified as it spoilt what could have been a lovely stay.

Alvor Apartment great location.

Fantastic location, 2 min walk to the main strip and restaurants, maybe 5 min walk to the beach, lots of parking at Alvor beach, Main street outside the apartment is good for parking, as anywhere in Portimao or Alvor is a nightmare to get a parking spot. Apartment has everything you need, both bathrooms recently renovated, all rooms have air conditioning great for sleeping, large kitchen can easily sit 6-8 people, Large living room for relaxing. Pool clean every day we used it. Washing machine door broke and Lena had it fixed within 2 days. Great place would definitely rent again.

Perfect place for rest and play

This property is very well positioned in Alvor. Nearly every thing you need is within a few minutes of walking. The unit is well furnished for a long stay. The host is very kind and accommodating. The next time I’m in Alvor, this will be my first choice.

Meerblick vom Balkon und eine tolle Betreuung vor Ort

Relativ zentral in Alvor mit schönem Blick über das Dorf und zum Meer. Maria ist vor Ort und immer ansprechbar, wenn man eine Frage hat. Die Obstbäume im Garten und den umliegenden Gärten sind eine Pracht!

Boa localização, perto do centro.

Regressámos das férias na Casa de S. Pedro esta semana, somos 6 adultos e 1 criança, e o feedback é relativamente positivo. A D. Helena é de uma atenção e cuidado extremo e incansável para que tudo esteja bem, obrigada por isso! Em relação a casa (1º andar Casa S.Pedro), a localização é excelente, perto do centro mas uma zona calma ao mesmo tempo, Ar condicionado nos quartos e sala, perfeito! As casa de banho estão renovadas. Os aspectos a melhorar é a questão da limpeza (cozinha, principalmente). Em relação a TV, tínhamos 4 canais disponíveis e nenhum em português. Resolvemos com um portatil. Seria agradável ter esta comodidade disponível pois quando investimos numa casa de férias, o objectivo é sentirmo-nos em casa. Agradeço ainda a disponibilidade da D. Helena por nos ter enviado por correio os souvenir que ficaram esquecidos.

Great location close to town and beach

We stayed as a family of five in the top apartment. Firstly Lena who lives below was a lovely hostess very helpful and thoughtful, for example the coffee machine stopped working and within an hour Lena sent up a new one! . The apartment was spacious and comfortable with all we needed for a relaxing 10 days.

Good location but apartment dated

The location was excellent - very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and most everything but the apartment needs to be updated. The apartment seemed dark overall and the amenities seemed to be a mishmash. When we booked, the listing advertised the bathrooms as having tubs whereas there were only showers - no tub. I could not honestly recommend it as I would not stay there again. There are many other apartments to rent in the area with some much newer and more modern.

Great 3 bed apartment in an excellent location

The apartment is well equipped and in a great location for Alvor centre, a car is not required. The sun is on the pool from around 10 until 7 during July which allows you to burn the candle at both ends! The lounge balcony has the sun early in the day and the kitchen balcony late afternoon so you can find shade if required. The pool was cleaned several times and our linen changed twice during our 2 week stay. Our only negative comments would be that the third bedroom doesn't have air conditioning and the gas oven doesn't heat to the temperature that the gas mark should provide, Lena lives on site and is always willing to help or offer assistance if required. We hope to return on our next visit to Alvor.

1st Floor apartment

We have stayed in Alvor many times and in this residential area several times.The apartments are ideally situated for shops, bars and restaurants and a pleasant stroll to the beach. The apartment rooms are spacious and have two balconies with different aspects, one with views out to sea, I am glad to say that during our visit the neighbours' noisy large dog was absent, perhaps they have moved! Would happily stay here again.

1ST time at this villa.Have been to one of lenas other apartments before so knew what to expect.It is as described located in a very nice area just behind the old hotel/apartments on the way towards pingo leaving alvor.It has 3 very spacious bedrooms[none ensuite] but 2 separate bathrooms/kitchen come dining room and also lounge/large balconey\s.One thing i would say is that both bathrooms look like they are in the process of refurb so should be nice when finished.It would suit large family or alright for sharing.Be careful of large dog nextdoor although in behind fence can be quite fearsome at night time when entering villa[dont let that put you off].So less than 5 mins to town/same to pingo supermarket and abt 15/20 mins to beach.

People that think about holidays not about work. So we live now in Alvor - Algarve - Portugal. In the meanwhile we rent our properties.
