We loved staying in this cottage, the location is perfect. Amazing coffee & food at the boatyard cafe, gorgeous village shop, fab local pub with great food, fish n chip van Wednesday nights, great village atmosphere and super friendly locals. Would stay here again, we loved it!
Creekside was fantastic. All communication with Fiona were easy, helpful and friendly.
Cottage itself is easy to find, plenty of room, really clean. Loads of utensils in kitchen.
Local pub does good food with friendly staff and locals.
Everything was great. Thank you.
Excellent cottage very sweet and homely. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Great location for walks and swiming in secret coves. Very friendly villagers. Thank you to Fiona for managing this property so well.
Lovely property in quiet creek side location. Heating was on when we arrived which made it more welcoming on a November day. Milk and a bottle of wine was a great touch. Comfortable home from home experience. Amenities on the doorstep - shop & pub. We were a little unlucky with two storms barrelling in in short succession but the cottage was comfortable enough to stay in and relax in.
We absolutely loved Gweek and the house was very perfect.
Possibly not great for small children - our 2 year old needs to run wild in a garden and that is not possible. As gran and grandpa weâd definitely come again on our own
We loved our stay at Creekside. The house is tucked away up a quiet little lane, with glimpses of the river, and a great pub next door.
Itâs a real home from home, with everything you need. And it doesnât feel like a sterile holiday let, but more like staying with friends whoâve just popped out!
FABULOUS HOUSE - A REAL RETREAT - PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY HOLIDAY
We can not recommend Creekside enough, we had the most wonderful time visiting :-) A beautiful cottage in an absolutely perfect locality !! We will definitely be back xxx
Creekside cottage. We took our 2 kids and my parents and the cottage was the perfect size. 3 bedrooms and a lovely bathroom with a roll top bath. Downstairs, there is a big open living space with toys and games for the kids and a well equipped kitchen and utility room which also doubles up as a quiet, warm sun trap perfect for reading. The washing machine was particularly useful to have after days in muddy fields and on the beach. Fiona had also left us goodies on arrival which made us feel so welcome. There's a lot to explore locally and we'll be back. Thanks Fiona!

Excellent cottage in a quintessential Cornish village
The cottage was very cosy with all the necessities for a stay in the country.
Fiona was excellent to communicate with and very obliging.
The property quite close to a traditional pub with great food but there was no problem with noise.
We had a great few days in the cottage and in Cornwall in general.
We were only two in the cottage but there was plenty of room for more
This is a delightful cottage with homely and warm atmosphere, where three of us stayed for five nights in comfort and with a good amount of space. My only complaint is that our stay was not long enough! There is so much to see in this area of Cornwall. Creekside cottage is well set out and furnished. Fiona is a delightful host, available but never intrusive. We appreciated the touches mentioned by others - the flowers, the welcome bottle of wine. The two main bedrooms were excellent for our needs ( the third is small with double bunks and would be fine for children). The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to enjoy local seafood in the comfort of the cottage with its big dining table. Fiona was very responsive to our questions and needs.
From here we ventured to Penzance and Land's End, St Ives, Megavissey. Highlights included the Poldark Mine, nearby Kynance Cove, the Minack Theatre and Helston, with its great museum.
I would highly recommend Creekside cottage as a place to stay. I should add it has parking, good heating, and is very clean.
Creekside Cottage had everything we needed for our family stay.
6 of us across 3 generations fitted in comfortably.
The cottage is furnished and decorated prettily and traditionally, and is a warm and cosy setting for evenings in with family dinners, board games, reading and watching films.
The kitchen is really well equipped with the dishwasher and washing machine adding to the convenience.
Gweek is a lovely location, with a great local shop, friendly pub and fish and chip van once a week. It's easy to get from here to beaches and walks in the Lizard, and a short drive from other attractions in Cornwall.
Fiona was extremely helpful and informative, with booking and arrangements handled quickly and with care.
We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!
Beautiful, spacious, cosy home in an idyllic place
We had a fantastic stay in Gweek by the creek. A perfectly homely house in an idyllic peaceful location.
The house is open, light and spacious, with a long dining table that suited us being able to eat at one end, and draw and play with toys down the other end. Charlie is 7, and he was really impressed with the bath - on feet!
I was grateful that it's the deepest, most luxurious bath I've had the pleasure to soak in. Much needed after busy days exploring the local area.
The lizard and over to the east side too are so unspoilt..some lovely coves, and odd spots of interest nearby, like the Goonhilly space station (closed, but you can still have a look) - great exploration stop to break the journey up when travelling with kids.
The seal sanctuary is more than a day of fun, and the staff friendly and helpful. Just 5minutes on foot from the house.
From comfy beds, to solid fittings, chunky cutlery, and tasteful decor, the house is well equipped and a home from home.. very clean. We hope to return soon.
Thanks for a great stay.
Fiona and her husband make sure everything is ok. We go there so often the pub usually knows we are on our way as they gave popped in there. They always try to accommodate us for our long weekends. It's our home from home. We would love to be able to take our dogs but at least thus way they get a break from us đ
I chose Creekside in Gweek in Cornwall to facilitate a Meetup with daughter Jen and her boyfriend's family and spend lovely quality time with another daughter and grand baby.it was the perfect accommodation and met all our needs. The cottage is charming and clean and very well equipped. The location is within walking distance of a very good pub and grocery store that manages to have mostly everything one needs. The owners supplied us with a high hair and portable crib for our little one and we slept well in the comfortable beds.

We live in a small fishing village on the Lizard Peninsula, South west Cornwall with our three young boys. Simon is a retired fisherman and I am a school teacher. We are a small, family owned and run business and we are delighted to say that many of our guests return again and again.
We fell in love with the character of the cottage, the beeatiful granite stone and old fireplace. The cottage has views of the river from the garden and the pub close by is fantastic.
Gweek is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall and a homely village to come back to with its riverside walks and friendly pub. The Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a few min walk away, see the seal pups being rehabilitated before their release back into the wild.
