L'emplacement est parfait est tout ce qui doit être dit à propos de cette maison nouvellement décorée sur le lac Barkley. Cette retraite front de mer a été conçu pour une escapade! Ce lakehouse est situé sur un cul-de-sac paisible et se trouve en face du lac Barkley Marina et le lac Barkley Lodge. L'embouchure de la rivière Little est à proximité fournit de l'eau toute l'année pour le quai privé et une rampe de lancement du public est à quelques minutes. Cette belle maison est située dans une crique tranquille qui est parfait pour la pêche, des tubes, le ski, le canoë-kayak et toute autre activité sur le lac vous pouvez rêver. N'oublie pas tes chaussures de marche ou tes vélos. La maison est située dans un quartier très isolé parfait pour les promenades ou promenades. Le lakehouse se vanter 3 chambres et est entièrement meublé avec 2 lits king et 1 lit queen. Tous les draps sont fournis ainsi qu'un lave-linge et sèche-linge. La cuisine est entièrement équipée d'une cuisinière, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur, cafetière, vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine. La chambre familiale ouverte a une façade en verre cheminée insert avec des plafonds cathédrale surplombant lakeviews imprenable. Stay at riverfront house

First off I want to say overall the house was great. It was cozy with great decor and furniture. There is enough furniture for 10 people to stay in the house. It has a great riverfront view, only obscured by a few trees. The owner was super friendly and helpful. However, there are a few issues with the house we want to make potential renters aware of. First, the only bathroom is tiny. Only one person at a time could use it, though there is a door to separate the toilet. The shower is just a "cozy" stall. Second, the house must have been built for shorter people. The current owner did not build the house. The shower head is only about 5'7" high and all the mirrors in the house were 6 inches to low. We are tall (6') and larger. Third, apparently at certain times of the year, large branches and tree trucks wash ashore. There must have been literally 100s of branches and whole trees littering the shoreline of all houses, not just this one. This is not the owners fault, but be aware, it can hamper ability to jump in the river to swim. Finally, the house has a long, downward sloping driveway with no easy way to turn around that can be tricky to back out, especially at night (backup camera is VERY helpful).

Great lakefront property

Great lakefront property with private dock and boat lift! Boat launch is 3 minutes away and worked perfect for our 17’ bass tracker. Watched bald eagles from the deck. Will stay again in the future.

My family and I needed a weekend get away and this house was perfect. Owners were great always checking in on us and were available for if we needed help really recommend this place to all my friends and family. This house won’t disappoint.

Cosy lakefront stay

Carolyn was a wonderful host. We entered the home with soft music playing and cookies for snacking. She was available for any questions. The home is on the lake with beautiful views and the home itself is very cosy.

Enjoy the lake

Beautiful scenery in a lovely location. Perfect for lounging with a good book or breakfast on the deck! Indoors would benefit from updating in the kitchen and bathroom especially. We really enjoyed the great room, and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, etc. If you’re looking for a good place to enjoy the lake, though, this is great! The host was super to communicate with and supplied loads of towels. She even baked fresh cookies to welcome us! - they were excellent!

View from the Deck is the best!

This is a nice house right on the water of Lake Barkley. There is a private dock that the kids played on the whole time. Swimming, fishing, kayaking(we had our own). The house is on an open cove so there is some boat traffic but most of it is across the inlet. There is a very quiet cove just around the corner that the kids loved kayaking and fishing in. There is a nice ladder on the dock for swimming. The kids practiced on a stand up paddle board and flipping over and re-entering kayaks in safety. The water area and the view from the deck are the best features and worth checking out. The cabin is nicely appointed we even broke out the included ice cream maker and had the kids enjoy that! If you bring a family, we recommend bringing some plastic cups and paper plates. All the options in the kitchen were glass and I was a nervous wreck with the kids using them. Communication was excellent from the owner. We definitely recommend.

Quiet, private, comfortable outdoor space. Homey, well-supplied indoor space with great views. Highlight of the stay was a bald eagle landing in a tree 20 yards from where I sat on the deck!

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. 4 adults and 2 children we had lots of room to spread out. Having 2 patio areas was nice.The view is beautiful.We took the boat and it was so convenient to dock and go up to the house if we needed anything. The kids enjoyed playing with their battery operated boat off the dockThere is a boat lift which was nice.My husband uses a walker and it was very easy for him to get around. We cooked in and had everything we needed.The beds were very comfortable.The house was very clean.Our grandchildren said this was one of their favorite places to come.We made great memories here!! Carolyn and her husband were a phone call away if we needed anything.There were fresh chocolate chip cookies for us to enjoy which was a nice touch they were delicious !! We will definitely rent this home again !!! Thank you for sharing your home with us !!

Fun little get away!

We had a blast staying at the lake. We brought our boat, went tubing, and swam off the dock. The cottage was in great shape and the kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone.

We spent Christmas here. It was super cold outside during the polar freeze. The house was warm and comfortable. Carolyn is very responsive to questions or concerns. We highly recommend renting this house.

Great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle. Lake access is hard to beat. There is no wifi and cell service isn't great if those are important for your stay.

Cadiz Home

The property was on a great relaxing little cove of Barley lake. My favorite part was definitely laying on the chaise lounge on the back deck and listening to the leaves rustle at the end of the day. The dock itself is worn and we were a bit afraid the ladder wouldn't hold us getting in the water but it worked just fine for us to take a swim. This would be a great house to stay at if you had a boat you could take out on the lake. We were in the area to see the buffalo at the preserve which were amazing and hike. We got to see the whole heard around dinner time and some elk as well. I did not bring any hand soap which was not available in this house anywhere that we could find but there was dish soap we made it work. but other than that we brought all our food and we had some delicious meals on the back deck that we prepared on the gas grill for which the host provided propane. We were also unable to locate salt and pepper in the house so make sure to pack yours! The host had left a nice bit of sticks and brush in the fire pit for us on the first night which was much appreciated so we didn't even have to go collect our own off the shore line area. Overall a good stay. For us driving into the land between the lakes area did take 45 minutes or so, but such is the life when your driving around multiple bodies of water!
