Property is dated but clean and well provisioned. Walking distance to great snorkeling and Queens Bath.

Perfect getaway

The views on here are real! The unit was clean, and well located in the complex- ocean views and close to the pool. Out the front door, you are a 5 minute walk to sunsets, minutes drive to shopping, farmers market, and morning walks along the golf course. We'll definitely be back!

Great location in Northern Kauai

Great location in Princeville right on ocean. Short walk down to small beach. Easy drive to Hanalei. All amenities in unit. No A/C but breezes throughout unit.One bedroom main floor one upstairs - nice separation for privacy from kids. Even a pizza and salad place on site!

Wonderful place to stay for our first trip to Kauai

This condo was everything we had hoped for when we booked it. It was spacious, clean, and well stocked. The photos of the view looked photoshopped but it’s really looks like that! The entire property is gorgeous and the private trail down to hideaway beach should not be missed. The beach gear was an added bonus. The only super minor issue was a few lights burned out, but it wasn’t enough to even bother the owner with.

We read mixed reviews on this property about the cleanliness but upon our arrival the place was very clean the kitchen was well stocked and we had Good communication with the property managers. I’m not sure what these other people were talking about with the reviews as we really had no issues with the cleanliness. We really enjoyed our stay and thank you a lot Mahalo

Waking up in paradise

We arrived after dark, so we didn't get a clear view of our surroundings until the next morning. When we woke up and walked out onto the balcony....just WOW! Instant relaxation in beautiful paradise. The view, the sounds and smells of the ocean, we couldn't have asked for more in a home-away-from-home. This place is the real deal. The condo is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home, plus lots of nice extras (beach chairs, boogie boards, binoculars and guide books). The location was perfectly situated for exploring the north shore. The shopping center down the street was very convenient for meals and groceries (definitely try The Spot!). Hanalei is a quick 10-15 minute drive down the hill. Mahalo for a wonderful stay. We wish we were there now but will definitely be back again!

The location is lovely. But that is about it.

Trying to be kind here...We had "issues" with it. Reached out to management without any response. except saying they would forward our complaints to management. They have a bot/automated response to everything. Would NEVER stay here again. We left a day earlier than we planned just to get to the comfort of our home. VRBO should really vett their partners.

Aloha Simran, we do apologize on the “bugs”, but as we tried to tell you, they were termites. We are in the tropics and there are certain times of the year they appear in large numbers. Despite every effort, sometimes there is not much that can do other than keeping windows/doors shut at night and turning the lights off. We did reach out to you multiple times and left voicemails…to date we have not heard back. We believe a one-star review is not being “kind” at all.

Great location, but dirty.

Maybe we are way too clean in our own properties, but we found this property, although in a very beautiful location, to be quite dirty. My wife spent the first 3 or 4 hours cleaning things before we unloaded our own stuff. The things we could not clean were the window coverings in the bedrooms, along with the fly wire screens and the actual metal window surrounds. They really need a good clean. My wife made a comment that as you are leaning in the sink to clean your teeth, it is really nice to have a fake floral design next to your head "covered in dust". Look, overall, the place was great, but if you want real feedback, then I hope I have been honest enough so you know that cleaning of this unit could certainly be improved. Also, due to the fact it does not have AC, we will not be back. I know some people do not care about AC, but when you come from an Aussie Winter, to a Hawaiian Summer, it really is something we will not compromise on in the future. Regards, Phil Kelly

Condo living

The condo was very cluttered. There were Christmas decorations on shelves (January 20th) and stuff on every table or shelve. No where to put your stuff. It rained and was very windy the 6 days we stayed here. The wind howled through the windows making it hard to sleep, some windows you could not close. The window coverings were white and a little see through so the lights from the walkways lit up the rooms and this made it hard to sleep too. Also the privacy factor was disturbing. People could walk in front of your windows to the living room so you had to be dressed all the time. There were curtains but not on all the windows. You could not open your blinds in the bedrooms as there were people walking by all the time. The newly remodeled bathrooms were awesome, especially the showers. The ocean view was great, but it was a partial view. The other view was into other condos. It was close to the pizza restaurant which was good. It was not super clean as there were hairs in the sink and the carpet had stuff on it. The Televison did not work most of the time, Satellite issues (and the DVD players did not work)?

Aloha John & Denise, Mahalo for posting a review. We did try to phone you in the unit and on your cell as well as email you to check in an there was no response. We certainly would have addressed any of these issues had we been made aware of them. We apologize the holiday decor was not removed, it was most likely left behind by a guest and it was an oversight by us. The unit does have blinds that can be shut for privacy, so we are confused as to the privacy issue. Again, we wish we would have known about any cleaning misses as we would have sent someone back as well as addressed the TV/DVD player issues. We did check and all the TVs and they are working correctly, so maybe it was just an input button error. We do ask that in the future, please do give us a call to address anything as we have missed. We do know things happen and we are here to make sure all is right at all times. Glad you enjoyed the pizza...we often hear it is great. Mahalo.

Beautiful views

Great views from this condo with access to beautiful and non-crowded beach via a mostly paved path. The condo is in princeville, which has a gated, golf course feel to it. The road to hanalei was intermittently open and the morning and evening times weren’t busy. The mid day line to cross over to hanalei was quite long.

Beautiful views and great location!

Overall, it is one of the best condos I have rented in Princeville. The location is awesome, and the positioning of the building is really perfect to enjoy the lanai at any time of day. We saw whales breaching while having breakfast on the lanai every morning. The kitchen was well furnished with everything you needed to cook--except good knives. Both bedrooms were a comfortable size and the trade winds provided a wonderful breeze both day and night. My only suggestions would be removing the carpet and replacing it with a new carpet or tile and updating the living room furniture. The furniture is older and not very comfortable, although we spent little time in that room anyway. All in all, a great property! I would return in a heartbeat!!
