Nice place for a small family

Nice place, frog pool very cool- walking distance. The main pools are also within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable pet friendly home

We enjoyed our stay and will consider Watchtower Walk again for our next stay at 30A. The home was clean, comfortable and convenient. It was nice to have the golf cart for trips to the beach club and Camp Watercolor. Also nice to be next to walking trails for morning and evening dog walks. Would recommend for families traveling with a dog. The garden area is a small fenced in area with turf grass which was great for our dog.

Reviewer Comments: Amazing property with a true gourmet kitchen and state of the art appliances and baths . Super generous room sizes , two true master suites , light and bright spaces . Easy access to a close park , kids club, and pools . 30A was sooo helpful and I highly recommended their properties as they are available for you . The grill was also amazing and the bikes too.

Relaxing and Well Appointed

This home was clean and perfect for our group of 6 adults, 1 infant and 1 dog. Nice quiet part of Watercolor, great proximity to Frog Pool down the street, surprisingly quick and easy walk to Tennis Center, Boat House, etc. We’ve stayed in WC a bunch of times, but never in this neighborhood and I had imagined it being further to get to the older neighborhoods closer to 30A, but the proximity from the home to the bridge across Western Lake to the tennis center was great! We didn’t use the golf cart too much, but it was helpful to have access on a few occasions. Kitchen was very well equipped - just a huge supply of dishes, glassware and silverware so you didn’t have to run the dishwasher constantly. Love the screen porches and used the open side porch for family hangouts all day long. Guest services were very responsive for the few small issues we had and rectified everything quickly.

Negatives: new dryer but didn't work, towels need refresh, noisy plumbing, noisy/uneven 2nd floor guest room mattress. Overall, pretty good experience.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Many windows needed window coverings. Some bedrooms were a good size, the bunk rooms are acceptable for small children- but not for teenagers. The bathrooms are VERY small, as are the closets. One bunk room needed the poles to move the window blinds up and down. some of the doors to the bedrooms were broken or did not even have a way to close the door and keep it closed without propping something up to keep it closed .

Great property, great location

Overall a very nice place to stay. There was a few hiccups, though. There were not enough wristbands for the number of people that house can hold (apparently based on how Watercolor classifies parts of the house as a “room”). However the owners did their best to work out a solution, albeit about 2 days into our trip. Tip: If booking in Watercolor don’t just look at beds/rooms, also look at number of wristbands allocated. Also there were a few things that needed service or to be fixed. Having rented vacation homes before this seems quite common, and the management company was fast to get these remedied. I loved that the house had a golf cart we could use, and will definitely look for this feature in my next rental in the area, as it made it super easy to load the kids, boards, and cooler and get to the beach or Camp Watercolor. Would come back if the price is right.

Watercolor Family Vacay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house we rented was in a wonderful location in Watercolor. Close to pools and beach, and extremely quiet ! A short bike ride to everything! The home was the perfect size for our 11 member family. The grandchildren loved the 2 bunk rooms and the watchtower. The porches were so comfortable and spacious. The house was well stocked with everything you needed to cook! We did have a few maintenance problems though. The wine fridge and the lower oven were not working and we had cold showers for a couple days in the master suite upstairs. Our rental agents acted quickly on the problems , but parts for the wine fridge and oven had to be ordered. Golf cart was an huge plus! All in all a fabulous week!

This home is AMAZING!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in WaterColor now 6 times. Each stay just gets better and better. This home was so unbelievably spacious, especially considering there were only 4 of us staying there! We spent our mornings sitting on the front porch, and our evenings having cocktails on the screened in porch which was FABULOUS! It rained for a couple of hours one day on this trip (which we recalled had never happened before!) so that porch was fabulous for reading and a rainy day nap. And let's talk about the golf cart and how convenient that was! Don't get me wrong, the bike rides were absolutely wonderful, but cruising to dinner, the beach, and the store was pretty awesome. The entire house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and other essentials. We were able to make immediate contact with management and get a quick response to any of our questions. This home would be great for families vacationing together with several children. Convenient to everything! Our friends that met us there will probably be planning a large family gathering there in the Spring. We would most definitely recommend and stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Not what we were expecting

Our main problem with this property - cleanliness and lack of maintenance work. When we arrived at 10:30 pm after a long day of driving we were SO ready for bed. We walked the house, looked in each room and suddenly the high of vacation was quickly going down with each room we stepped in. The kitchen looked like a dog had licked the appliances and the counter top was sticky. (Later we learned that the microwave didn’t work and the dishwasher had to be slammed with a twist to shut properly in order to run it.) The downstairs bedroom had pee on the rim of the toilet - the pee was found after taking off the pretty bow that was tied around to toilet seat to show that it was “cleaned”. (Also, later learned that the shower in the downstairs bedroom had issues. The faucet for the shower literally fell off in our hands and we were unable to turn the shower on/off. So the shower was useless for 2 nights of our trip until WE fixed it.) The master bedroom had sand in the bed along with some nice brown colored stains (big ones) on the sheets. The towels in the master bath smelled like smoke (?) and the floors were also sandy. There is a cute third floor game room for the kids and we found smashed crackers all over the floor and the furniture literally turned upside down and scattered in the room - so no one even bothered to clean that room let alone go in it. This house looks amazing in photos... but in person we were so very disappointed. The master bedroom mattress literally had lumps so big in it that you can SEE them clear as day just by standing there looking at the bed. The furniture was cheap. Not all of it, but the majority of it. I emailed the property manager the night we got there with all my concerns. They sent people the next morning to replace the sheets and clean the game room - I was grateful for clean sheets - but the only way that house would have been fixed would to have the entire house cleaned again.... this falls on the cleaning crew and also, in my opinion, heavily on the property managers for not checking their properties before guest arrive. This house was a pretty penny to rent and with the price tag it was expected, at the very least, to arrive to a clean house and this was far from it. We made the best of it and didn’t let it ruin our trip! Seaside is THE best place on earth! We have vacationed here for 10 years and have stayed in all sorts of properties - we will never rent this property again.
