Everything was perfect from start to finish...... The chalet is ideally located for the Portes Du Soliel ski region and has everything you need for a great ski holiday.
Un sejour agreablee en famille.
Le chalet est grand et les chambres confortables.
Seul bemol l table qui ne peut pas accueillir 12 couverts...une rallonge aurait ete necessaire.
We went as two families ,and the chalet has the perfect arrangement for that, really modern ,with three bedrooms on the lower level ,living accommodation on the ground level and 2 bedrooms on the top floor.the accommodation was really lovely ,clean, well equipped and with the added bonus of a hot tub, which was great after a days activities
We had everything we needed for our stay ,including some essentials left in the kitchen .
Lovely location ,with a short drive to morzine ,or a walk into town for something to drink or eat .
Really helpful owner and we all agreed we would love to go again next year ,thankyou for a fabulous holiday ,I would highly recommend
Hi Peter,
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for a fabulous holiday in your lovely chalet. We had a really great time and love your chalet, itâs absolutely perfect for a big family ski holiday and I really enjoyed the local circuit or loop as we called it; even my 4 year old daughter managed it on the last day (last time I visited St. Jean the Chevrerie side was closed).
Neil was great , we managed to get ourselves lost trying to find the chalet and Neil came and rescued us so we were very grateful to him too.
Anyway thanks again and hope to visit again.
Regards,
Fantastic chalet with brilliant and generous hosts
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Chalet Etoile. The food, accommodation and location were all great for a relaxing ski holiday. Janet and Larry really do go above and beyond both during and after your stay. I was unfortunate enough to lose my phone on the piste during our stay. After it was handed in to the police, Janet and Larry were generous enough to arrange for this to be collected and delivered to me the next week in Geneva, something I am hugely grateful for! It completely topped off what had already been a great trip!
Great holiday. Chalet was well equipped and perfect for 2 families.
We all enjoyed hot tub after a day exploring the beautiful area. Lots to do and the weather was fantastic.
What a lovely chalet, in a lovely location.
We are a family of 5, who travelled with my sister-in-law who is a family of 4. Perfect layout for the two families. They were upstairs, we were on the ground floor, with the living accommodation between us.
Kids loved the jacuzzi, and watching kids channels on the British Sky, when the weather kept us indoors. The kitchen was fantastically equipped, with washer/dryer, dishwasher and right down to herb and spices, tea, coffee and some condiments if required.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful, with lakes, swimming pools, ski areas, pretty walks, supermarket all in less than a 15 minute drive.
Would highly recommend this chalet.
I stayed at Chalet Etoile in January 2011 with ten other like minded skiers and enjoyed it so much that we booked the chalet again upon our return to Blighty. Finishing a days skiing/boarding with a Hot tub before going up the Hill to dine at "Pere Bill`s" was something else.
We found the chalet spacious and equipped to a high standard, the caretaker even arranged our lift passes and delivered them to us on arrival prior to hitting the Piste the following day. We thought this was a fantastic touch.
The communal table was a brilliant size for our early morning coffee as we planned our Mountain routes and dining preferences for the evening. The local "Carrefour" en route to morzine has a lovely selection of Wines, cidres, Port and Cheese.
