Beautiful home which was well outfitted. It is nicely kept and clean. Our interactions with the Hosts went smoothly and they were very receptive to our needs. I definitely recommend the 'Lap of Luxury' for anyone looking for an upscale location!

Awesome home and location!

This house lived up to all the great pictures and was everything we hoped it would be! Tremendous space in the home for all we needed, gradual slope down to the dock, and perfect, quiet, no wake cove! Definitely would come back again…our entire family loved it!

Beautiful Lake House

Our family enjoyed this beautiful home for the weekend at Smith Mountain Lake while attending a wedding. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, has a gorgeous view of the lake and has everything you need!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful home, everything you need and more is provided. Communication with the owner was great. We loved having a fire pit, playing games on the huge dining room table and watching the baseball playoffs in the theater room. We hope to visit again!

The perfect lake house!

Truly the most amazing lake house. I was surprised how the clean the house was. The owners have thought of everything you could ever need during your stay. I will definitely be renting from them again.

Thanksgiving in Huddleston, VA

Our Thanksgiving stay in Huddleston, VA was very nice. The home was beautiful with a pretty view on the waterfront. But, the only issues we had was both refrigerators was dirty and when leaving we had to find a dumpster location that was 38 mins away for the disposal of trash.

Best SML stay yet!

Lap of Luxury was outstanding! The house is amazing. The no-wake location was convenient to the best part of the lake and calm enough for lots of swimming off the dock. Matthew was responsive to questions and super easy to communicate with. We strongly recommend and will likely be back for our next SML trip.

Beautiful well appointed home

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful home. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen we ever encountered with every utensil, pan, bakeware, and appliance one could ever need, spices of all kinds, and dishes galore. The 3 master suites with king beds and private baths were perfect. The movie room a real treat. The dock was even equipped with comfortable furniture and the most beautiful view. You won’t be disappointed with this rental!

Lakefront luxury

Large, beautiful home with everything you need! Features like washers and dryers, as well as kitchens on each level make this the perfect home for large groups. Luxurious touches include the incredible stone and tile work throughout the home and an expansive master bath, as well as the in-home theatre room (perfect on a rainy day). The outdoor space is gorgeous and the no-wake cove is peaceful.

Fantastic Week at Lap Of Luxury

From the initial contact to check-in and check-out, the communication for this rental was flawless. The house and grounds were meticulously maintained. I highly recommend a stay at Lap of Luxury to anyone wanting to enjoy the very best of lakefront living! My family and I had a wonderful week. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together as a family and also to enjoy some private time. The kitchen is a cook’s paradise (the Thermador gas range is beyond amazing). The relaxing living areas and the spacious dining area invited us to sit and stay for awhile. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the master bathroom is even more elegant than the pictures can show. We all loved sitting outside every morning, watching the wildlife and enjoying the peaceful, no wake cove location. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and having our boat there to cruise the lake. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home. We will definitely try to book this one again next year!

Beautiful Home

We had an absolute wonderful time at Lap of Luxury. The home is perfect in every way it has everything you could ever imagine. The owner provided excellent communication from day one of the reservation which made things so easy when we arrived. The house was completely stocked with everything possible. The owners had instructions through the home on how to operate all of the amenities which was extremely helpful. The Book that was provided in the home was an awesome resource for things around the area as well as the checkout process which was basically remove your belongings and take out the trash. We will definitely be back again. There are many homes on the lake and I personally toured at least 10 prior to booking lap of luxury and this one by far was the very best in so many ways you will not be disappointed!! Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with my family!!

This is a beautiful property with plenty of space indoors. The kitchen is fully stocked and the linens are provided, which is really helpful when you’re driving with a full car! The book of information they provide was very helpful – we even found a new pizza place, which was great! Thanks for sharing your house with us.

Spectacular place, perfect location

The house has everything you need. The kids love the theater room after along day on the water. If your into craftsman ship you will appreciate the amazing marble and tile work throughout the house. A few suggestions the front door needs to be easier to open and close. The back patio door hardware needs to be adjusted.
