Welcome to Beaconsfield in Grosse Pointe Park where 1920s meet 2020s! This 1920s home has been renovated to provide you with modern amenities while keeping authenticity and charm of the 1920s. The location is prime; head into town a few blocks up for coffee, shopping, eating and libations. It's close proximity to Detroit is ideal for when you want to go downtown for dinner, a game or a concert. This home is a cozy, family friendly space in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Please keep in mind this home is nearly 100 years old and has some original features still in place to keep the charm of the era. We love, honor and embrace all that a nearly 100 year home provides us, creaky floors and all!
We had a great, quick stay. The house has a lot of charm and it was very clean and comfortable. We used it as a landing pad, but with the large dining room and kitchen, you could easily prepare meals and dine comfortably. The street parking wasnât an issue, we were always able to find a spot in front of the house.
We needed a place to stay as we were visiting our 92 year old Dad from out of state. This place hit the mark! It was clean and the decor was charming. Canât remember when Iâve slept more soundly. The Host was very responsive. Location was perfect!
Andrea made everything very easy. The house is adorable just like the photos show. My family consists of 3 young kids, two parents and a dog. We were in town for a swim meet at the high school nearby. There are no close hotels but this was so much better! We will definitely stay again if we have another reason to go to beautiful Grosse Pointe!
Andrea was great at communicating to get us in the unit.
The two girls each had their own room, apart from our adult bedroom. The only drawback was one bathroom for 4 people, but easy to manage. Street parking wasnât always convenient, but a place on the block was always available. We would definitely stay there again!
