The home served its purpose for our road trip. Took a while to get the AC going but happy the bedrooms had ceiling fans. Bonus for us was the retro NES in the basement.
The cleanliness and the atmosphere of the home was phenominal. It was equipped with everything we needed and it was fun in ghe arcade. I will definitely be booking again!
It was quiet, clean, a nice little house. The price we paid for 3 days was very reasonable. If we should ever visit Detroit again I would stay there again
Happy to get away with my dog for some R & R. Close to lots of restaurants and parks to take him for walks. Owner had great communication. Recommend if you are heading to Detroit!
The property could use a little updating. Especially the furniture.Communication is excellent. The property manager is next door and thatâs helpful and beneficial. The hosts were kind enough to put a tv in the second bedroom for my mom. I really appreciated that.Itâs not the Ritz, but the communication and accommodating nature of the hosts made the outdatedness of the property menial.
My visit was about the love of family. I was grateful for the space that was 3 year old proof. It was also comfortable for my 89 year old mother and myself. The location was convenient and the house was cozy for cold weather. The house had all the needs I could ask for. Again, grateful for a family friendly house. Thank you.
Great experience! Property was as described. The host was very accessible. All questions, issues, concerns were addressed and discussed immediately.
I will definitely refer people to this location. I will stay again if i visit again.
House was fine. Beds are very comfortable. Looks a little dated and old inside but fine for the small amount of time we were in the home. Owner did a great job communicating answering any question immediately.
I think you should put how many people can be in the house booked the house for birthday party and wasn't allowed over 10 people. I think I should be accommodated a night had to check out earlier
- Kitchen was ill equipped, no bowl to make a salad. Nice blender but no tall glasses for a smoothie. One dish towel.- Gym, I was so excited to see the BoFlex however, when I changed the tension and pulled down, the entire gym fell on me and pushed me to the bench. I have two knots and an abraision on my head, bruised knees and inner thighs. After my husband lifted it off me, we could see that the bench was not bolted to the tension pole. - There was no hair dryer in or near the bathroom.
I had trouble with my VRBO so communication with owner was spotty on day of check in. Property manager was excellent. Beds were comfortable and everything clean. My only complaint is about kitchen. Even when turning down refrigerator it was so cold that produce and dairy froze. There were only 3 usable pots. I did all my cooking in 1 tiny non stick skillet, one stainless steel pot and a foil covered cookie sheet. The teflon has to go! There is a need for at least 1 mixing bowl. Measuring cups and spoons would be good. More silverware needed. 1 other hand-towel would have helped. Finally metal tongs, stainless steel spatula, and grill brush needed for outdoors.
We were in town for a hockey camp for my daughter. The property was a good size for our family of 4. The kids enjoyed the games in the basement. It was nice to have a full kitchen since out family is gluten free and made most our meals at the house. Has a good sized backyard unfortunately we didnt get to utilize. It was in a nice central location for our needs while in Detroit, close to Little Caesars Arena and the zoo.
The property manager next door is a former history teacher and adjunct professor who knows all the city's hidden gems. They can provide expert insights and detailed information about Metro Detroit.
This centrally located house is just minutes from downtown. Palmer Park, Main Street, and the golf course are all within walking distance. Most attractions are conveniently within a 10-minute drive.
The location features a great, large, fenced-in backyard with seating, a grill, and a fire pit. The basement includes games and workout equipment. The bathroom is equipped with a bidet. The property managers are very nice, responsive, and conveniently located right next door to meet all your needs.
