The place was clean and comfortable, and the building was nice, with a decent gym, pool and hot tub in the basement! Only negative is that it was a bit too warm, and changing the thermostat did not seem to affect the temperature at all.
Location was great and the accommodations were perfect. The listing was a bit inaccurate in that the fireplace doesnât work, the on site restaurant wasnât open, no ability to get coffee or snacks, and parking was far from the unit.
A nice one bed room apartment, very close to the ski runs. The only issue I had was no covering Iâve the skylight over the bed. The Free EV charging was great.
Positives: Quick walk to Killington ski resort, when working pool/hot tub/steam room was nice plus, quick walk to restaurant in nearby building, comfortable bed.Needs love: Building and condo needs investment by the owner and building management group. E3E Condo was stuck in the 80âs with decor, amenities, appliances. Internet access per directions on vrbo did not work. Fireplace is not usable-read fine print- even though picture shows a nice warm fire.
the building was in progress of renovation . the only light source for the unit is a balcony door which was bloked by a piece of wood. no window in the bedroom . roof was in progress of replacing . the first night was windy I heard the noise from roof sheets flipping for hours.
Loved the location. The online picture shows updated but it isn't complete. Hops restaurant was fantastic and Tia was the best waitress. I would say I don't think the cleaners spend enough time preparing the condo. All in all yes, I would stay again.
The unit is in the main building and it was a great place! It is not the owners fault of the condo but there was an excessive temperature of heat coming from the hallways and I believe under the door making the heat crazy hit in the condo. I would have given a 5 star if it wasnât for this issue. Even turning the heat completely off could compete with the temperature coming in from the hallways.
A place to make a quick meal, take a quick shower, and to sleep in is all thatâs needed of a condo this size. It doesnât need to be fancy. But it should be functional.Sleeping: The mattress is terrible and there are no shades for either sky light. They have radiant floor heat with no ability to control the temperature. We had to leave the patio door open. Otherwise it was way too hot.Shower: How much is a new shower head? Câmon. Kitchen: Poorly equipped. No pot for boiling pasta. One small 6x8 cutting board. Toxic teflon pans. Coffee pot from 1995.I just donât think the owner cares. An avalanche of snow had fallen on the balcony, blocking out the entire patio door up 9ft. Itâs the only window, save for the two skylights. The property management company didnât respond to my email with concerns about the snow. The building itself is also in bad shape. All they have going for it is location.
Overall it's a nice little place for a single person or a couple, there's no central air or AC so it's very hot and has no windows other than the sliding glass door for a slight breeze. Also the lighting in this place is terrible. They're doing construction through the whole entire village of Killington right now which makes it very noisy for a relaxing vacation. I found a rusty nail in the rug in the living room luckily I didn't step on it.
I gave it two stars because they say it has a balcony which is a small little triangle that you can barely stand on and was closed because it was under construction, it also said it had a fireplace but the fireplace is unusable because they're doing construction. And lastly because they didn't actually tell me that they would do a construction it didn't make for a very nice quiet visit.
Condo was great! Very close to the lifts and easy to get to and from the lifts and restaurants. View is amazing!
The screen door on the slider was off and to the side of the balcony and broken and the guard on the baseboard was off. We called the booking agent to inform them on the 800-number and left a message with no response.
A great location - a 2 minute car ride to slopes - one could walk if they wanted. Came back to condo for lunch each day it was so easy. Condo was clean, all appliances worked fine. Pots/pans/plates - they had what we needed. Easy to get in/out of the unit - elevator a bit small, so often just walked up the stairs. Had a couple questions that were answered promptly (used vrbo app). Would stay there again. We had two people - one in bedroom one on pull out couch - that is a comfortable amount. Not sure i would stay there with three people for skiing (as everyone has lots of stuff and its not large - its accurately portrayed on line). Used the outside ski locker - very convenient.
