The property is older, you just be able to walk steep steps, but itâs a quant space. Has everything one needs for a weekend in or right in town to go any place within walking distance. Store below starts their music at 10, so as long as that isnât a problem, it works! Bathroom could use some additional cleaning. Cleaners obviously donât go through all drawers as someoneâs medications were left. Love being able to leave out the back, but you have to come in through the front. It would have been helpful to sue both for entry or exit. Over all super comfortable! We will be back!
On the Main Street, historic building, private balcony with a hot tub-perfect location for our first visit to Fredericksburg! We highly recommend Unit Two. It is at the back of the building and therefore, a bit of the road noise is filtered. The height of the bed does require using the provided steps but it is very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.
This place was perfect for us. The accommodations were great. The Jacuzzi was absolutely spotless and worked perfectly. Which we appreciate very much. My wife had one request and that is I tell you that you need a full length mirror for getting dressed. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location right downtown with easy access to stores and restaurants. You enter on Main Street and go up one flight of stairs and into your well appointed suite with decor from local stores. Walk outside you have a private patio and hot tub area. Clawfoot tub was a nice touch!
Fantastic location, notwithstanding difficult parking at arrival. Cool old building, comfy cozy place to say.
The hot tub was a great way to relax after walking around Fredericksburg all day.
The only downside is the bath/shower. Itâs quite tight space with the curtain closed and I m an average sized dude, so I imagine itâs all the more squeezy for anyone above 6â and larger than a 42â jacket.
Otherwise we loved the convenience to everything including coffee and breakfast the next morning and loved being in the heart of downtown.
Great place to stay.
Perfect location for downtown shopping and nicely decorated. This was my second stay at this suite. My only "need" would be for a full length mirror maybe installed on closet door so you can check how you are dressed. I would definitely recommend.
Location was perfect. Never could figure out how to lock the doors when leaving. We just took a chance and left it unlocked. The deck area could use a little work, was not set up very well.
Location was amazing. Had some minor issues getting into the property so I called the management company. We figured it out on our own but the management company got to us the following day so if there was a bigger issue they wouldn't have helped us. Even though this happened we will be staying here again in the future.
The accommodation was beautiful! The antique claw foot tub was perfect for a long bubble bath, and the hot tub was hot and ready to enjoy. Beware though, it does not provide a hair dryer and the TV's are complicated to use. I love that it is right on Main St. in the middle of everything; however, there is no dedicated parking for this room. We had to hope to find parking on Main St. which was often a block or more away. All in all, I will definitely stay here again in the future.
We were not impressed. There were black hairs in the bathroom (we both have lighter hair). It was noisy and hot. Smelled musty. The bed was extremely hard and not comfortable. Parking was a nightmare. Overall, it was not good value for the money we spent. Extremely over priced.
Long steep stairs entry, shower is curtain wrapped around free standing tub, TV impossible to figure how to operate, toilet stops up and hangs when flushing, hot and cold water in sink reversed. But, the location is great and the air conditioning works very well. Next visit I'll probably choose better accommodations for the money paid.
Very clean and comfortable. We loved having the private patio with hot tub. We also loved how convenient it was to all of the shopping and restaurants. A couple of suggestions. The shower curtain liner in the bathtub is about 5 inches too long on each side and a trip hazard when you're in the shower. The bathroom sink hot and cold are plumbed backwards. I would also suggest a full length mirror in the suite.
We have knee issues and didn't want stairs less much the high bed. Had to use the bed steps to be able to get into the bed. Bed was comfortable and we were cool. We did use the hot tub however it was set at 104 - way too hot for summer also. We were not sure it had been sanitized prior to our use. The claw tub set up was not desirable either - hard to get in & out with no handles. Parking on street was no wanted either. Will not book another property without seeing it in the future.
Lengthy wooden staircase leading up to unit, very high bed with step stool to climb in, and claw foot tub makes this unit not suitable for older people unless very fit. No dedicated parking spot. Hot and cold water reversed in bathroom sink. Nice comfortable furniture in living room but well worn. Patio with hot tub nice but the hvac units behind building quite loud. Strange sound on third night of stay (Sunday) continued all night until 5:30 am Monday. We called the support line but they didn't come check it out. Would not stay here again. The InTown Villas on Austin are much better and come with parking spot.
Location is as good as it gets and the decor is really nice. The few cons were pretty big surprising cons for the price but the location and everything else about it is good enough to make up for it. Cons are: no mirror anywhere in the entire unit- only a small antiqued mirror over the sink the size of a textbook and hung so high I can only see the top of my head and it's not a clear mirror, more for looks. No idea what I looked like the whole time I was there. Did my makeup with a handheld compact mirror and would go on the patio and try and to make out my reflection in the window Crazy for the price of the unit. Also no creamer of any kind for coffee, not even powdered creamer so the Keurig wasn't really usable for us. The last thing was bloody looking spots all over the underside of the bedspread on the bed. We just took it off when we got there because it really grossed us out. Sheets were clean so we were fine. Hot tub and patio were great, everything else was great. Right in the middle of all the action- never needed a car the whole time.
Both the toilet seat and bath tub had brown substances on them that were not hard to see and had to be cleaned before use. The substances cleaned easily - which means no attempt was even made. While cleaning the tub myself, it was very evident that the tub had not even been wiped with a rag, much less actually cleaned. The faint smell of bleach must have been from it being poured into the tub/toilet and nothing more. The same can be said about the toilet, not to mention the yellow staining and wear and tear indicate the toilet seat should have been replaced long ago. Just these items would not be acceptable anywhere, and at $300 per night, my expectation of what is "acceptable" is much higher. The lack of sanitization raised red flags, causing concern which prevented us from using the hot tub - THE priority item I searched for in a rental. A blow dryer is not provided which seems like a fairly common amenity, and one I would also expect at this rental rate. The glass/storm doors leading to the balcony were not clean and had not been cleaned in a while, which seems like housekeeping 101. Only one disposable coffee cup was provided. The only available electric outlets were at the coffee bar and in the closet, we had to unplug other things to charge our phones. In the living room an outlet was not in use behind the couch which shows laziness and lack of consideration to accommodate guests. We put the "fur" throw blanket from the couch on the top shelf in the closet because it smelled like it had not been cleaned a while. We called the office Friday at 5:24 pm and got the afterhours recording but the office hours provided stated 6:00 pm close. A recommendation would be to provide a full length or decent size mirror somewhere in the unit - inside the closet or back of the closet door would be discreet and much appreciated. Thoughtful amenities did not exist which I is usually telling of the management company/owners. Providing guests with the best possible experience is not a priority, this property is likely nothing more than a revenue generator. I wish I had better feedback, we were really excited about this property and at booking felt the rate was appropriate for the accommodations - but we were mistaken.
