This is such a charming and cozy cabin surrounded by woods but moments from civilization. Every nook is decorated to reflect a homey atmosphere. It looks just as advertised. The property owner checked in with us and was very responsive to my questions. The access to the cabin involves a large staircase that can be a bit challenging with luggage (and for older travelers) but so worth every step. I his was my second stay and I have recommended to others who have also stayed here and loved it!
This is our second time visiting because we love this cozy cottage so much. The location is perfect for this city girlârestaurant at the end of the road, local coffee shop within a mile or so, all while being tucked away in the woods!
We were moving our daughter from Va to UT Grad school and spent the weekend here. Quiet with beautiful views.
Cabin is perfect, convenient and we look forward to staying here again.
The house was only a few miles from camps but it was like being in a completely different place. It was quiet and serene. And a great place to wind down after a long day. If you like the cabin/ woodsy feel this place is for you!
The property is just as the listing describedâcozy, peaceful, and perfectly located to explore a lot of the Smoky Mountain area. Christie was pleasant and easy to contact and to work with. I have already recommended to others and I hope we have an opportunity to stay again!
We weren't around much but the house had everything we needed and more! It was closer to civilization but you would think you were further out in the woods than you actually are, which was perfect! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the porch to spend our evenings! Much better than Hotel room!
We came to Knoxville to tour the University of Tennessee with our rising HS Senior. We were hesitant on staying in a hotel given the pandemic and found this VRBO home. This cabin was very cozy and comforting and located very close to campus. I will certainly look to see if this home is available for our next trip to Knoxville.
Clean, charming and comfortable. Well stocked and staged, and property owner is responsive, called me back immediately about a question and took a negative to a positive. 10/10
The place is exactly as advertised, Clean , comfortable and rustic. King size bed is comfortable. And shower and towels were very good. It is very rustic. The back porch is not as noce as we hoped but we hung out inside and we went to Ijams for a hike.
Where to start? This place is great. The owner is great. Clean, beautiful old school cabin from way back! You're in reality not very far off Chapman Hwy in the heart of Knoxville, but the location of the cabin would fool you into thinking you're actually way up in the Smoky Mountains. This is a great little hideaway for just about anything you'd wanna visit Knoxville for!! We'll definitely be returning, both of us loved it!! Close to most everything, as well!!
Mike and Christie are local Real Estate Professionals, moved to the East Tennessee area nearly 20 years ago. Love Nature and Outdoors. We love Knoxville due to all it offers, so close to the National Parks, Great Smoky Mountains, Big South Fork, Aquariums, Zoo, Historical Districts, Lakes, hiking, Theaters, and the Arts. There is a festival of some sort going on just about any given weekend in our area.
Little Swiss Cabin, located on 3 wooded acres, is the most unique cabin so full of Old World Charm and Character inside and out, truly a ONE of a Kind! Yet we have updated it so that you have all the modern amenities.
Wide Plank original hardwood floors, screened porch overlooks a wooded Hill side offering privacy. Smell the aroma of Ye Ole Steak House every afternoon starting around 430 pm, a Knoxville legendary Historical Log Cabin with great food. Ye Ole Steak House is Located within walking distance of the Little Swiss Cabin. The KAT, transit pickup is within walking distance as well, will take you to Downtown Knoxville Market Square if you choose not to drive your own car. Neyland Staduim and university of TN is just 4 miles away
