My boyfriend and I went for winestock and it was so much fun! The music was amazing and the pizza and wine was great! The staff was very helpful and polite. We stayed in villa 3, which was beautiful. Overall it was a incredible night and I would definitely recommend and go back!
Villa 3 was nice and comfortable and was exactly as described. The entire facility was quiet and relaxing yet offered music, wood fired pizzas and of course wine in the evening. The pizzas were delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fortunata. It was her first time at the winery and she enjoyed it immensely. We will return for our next girlsâ outing.
Ease of check-in. Only spoke with event coordinator for a short while. She was very nice. Bit of a mix up with house cleaning. No ice or soda machine, not sure about access for extra towels or pillows, room very dark hard to apply make-up. A/c worked great, wood and wine were very good at the main house, and overall nice stay.
Upon arrival, very quiant looking...but once inside, the chemical smell of the toilet cleaner was over powering. The entire room had a strong odor. Plus there was no toilet room door, yes I'm aware it was built that way but that information would have been useful in deciding on which villa to choose. The keypad door had its quirkiness to locking it when leaving and when trying to get back into the room. We had to call for assistance and was told the door does have its issues with the bolt and keypad working together. Not enough information given on this Villa as a whole when advertising. More pictures would be helpful.
The property is nice, the room was just as pictured. The restaurant food ambiance and wine was on point delicious! The complaint I have was the bed. It was creaking and squeaky with every move. We couldnât sleep without being woke up with every adjustment during the night. If they would replace the bed and mattress it would be a 4.5 star. The other half star would be no creamer or shampoo and conditioner for use. There was a bottle of something without a label it may have been shampoo idk. We had one half roll of tp on the holder and another half in the cabinet so we had to ask our neighbors who is a friend couple, for some toilet paper. No biggie on that. But the bed was the reason for a low overall score.
It was satisfactory for our needs. Good bed, good coffee (once I got a plastic spoon from 7-11 to measure the coffee for the Mr. Coffee). Didn't find any robes, but they usually don't fit me anyhow. Sleeping was good, probably because the cold and the rain kept the wedding parties from partying too late. Air and heat worked well, plenty of hot water. Visiting with the turkeys (real ones), chickens and guinea hens was fun, and the rabbits.Pro tip - look behind the toilet for the trash can before you report there isn't one. Mini-fridge and microwave both worked fine. Probably visit again sometime.
The winery and villa were about 20 minutes from Denton in a semi-rural area. The villa was adequate and clean, however, the bed sagged in the middle and was not very comfortable and there was some noise from the neighboring villa. The wine-tasting room and open-air seating area under the stars with live music and oven-fired pizza was a nice change of pace and very enjoyable. Was a little disappointed that the wines were all from California, expected them to be local.
