Artistic barn: wood burning hottub, sauna and pizza oven
The wandering peacock provides guest with a warm and whimsical interior and lush gardens with an outdoor wood burning hottub, pizza oven and suana. Furnished and decorated in an eclectic array of antiques and eastern art. With peacock themes throughout the property. This 1800's barn has been renovated into a modern yet whimsical two family home. Wandering Peacock is the main house where we the host reside in the mother inlaw section that is completly separt from the main house. Kent the local town has many galleries and fine dinning. There are many vineyards waterfalls, caves and flee-markets and farmer markets to enjoys.
Very unique property with old Parisean wibe. Well equipped kitchen, a lot of space, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The outdoor space is not completely finished. Once it is completed the rental will be spectacular.
The most beautiful and unique place I have ever stayed. Wonderful for those who are artistic and appreciate the vision and hard work that went into the space. We had a âladies retreatâ where the 7 of us kicked back, made crafts, played games, and hit the hot tub. The local area also has wonder places to eat. We will definitely make this a yearly tradition. Abigail was a wonderful host. 10/10
Checked in at around 3:30pm actual location and indoor space was interesting. Certainly artistic but not that clean on the inside and outside. Sneezed and coughed almost entire time was there thick dust everywhere n indoor AC vents, very musty smell. Property itself was a construction eye sore. Went out to return to an electric outage, spent our first night for 7 hours trying to get electrician and generator started. There were so many wires, extension cords water, looked very dangerous. Since we had no electricity we also had no water for our first 12 hours there we couldnât use the bathroom and no electricity left us in complete darkness. We were going to leave but we put so much effort into trying to get generator power and had last hope that electrician would come at 11:30 but at 11:45 said he couldnât make it. Granted there was a tree and wires down on the road from a storm, owner expected us to just accept the situation without offering any type of refund etc. the house over all was definitely artistic but not very clean. The place wasnât fully cleaned from the prior visitors. The garbage was moldy in the kitchen and there were glasses left about the house from the prior guests or owners.
I enjoy creating art and gardening. Iâm also a digital creator under wandering peacock house. There you may find a lot of the projects past and present that guest can experience.
Kent in my opinion is the best small town outside of nyc, thatâs why I settled here. Th artist, waterfalls, vineyards, flee market and farmers markets are amazing!
Itâs a bit of an artistic fantasy for me. A lot of guest connect and I love hosting them! The outdoor pizza oven hot tub and suana are special for sure and I really work on making the gardens and stone sculptures really make that experience much more pleasing.
