The property is in a convenient location close to downtown tarpon springs. It was clean and felt safe. The larger bed was comfortable. They had plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen stuff. The price was fair. Some things to note, though:-The listing does not show how small the second bedroom and bathroom are. They are very tiny. The shower was not standard size. -The second "bedroom" did not have a door.-The only bathroom is located in the larger bedroom.-The doors to the larger bedroom and bathroom do not shut completely.-There are two AC units, one in each bedroom. They don't keep the living area and kitchen cool.-If there is someone staying in the apartment upstairs, you can hear everything...Despite that, it was a pleasant stay overall. I would only recommend this place for a single couple.
If you are familiar with Tarpon Springs or on your first visit - stay here! You can stroll the historic heart of this city. The unit is spotless and comfortable! Check in and out
Great little cottage for a reasonable price. Absolutely immaculate. The onsite owners were very helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants.
The grounds and cottage are very delightful with outdoor seating. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare meals. Beds were comfy. Loved being in walking distance to the Sponge Docks, restaurants and shopping. Bicycles were available to use and the bike trail was close by. John and Linda are very attentive and available for any questions or requests. Enjoyed sharing stories with John and appreciate his tips on places to visit around the area. Highly recommend staying here for a chill place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay so much. The host, John was accommodating and made our check in trouble free. The property was in a great location, quiet, and relaxing. The cottage was lovely. It was our 2nd stay and weeill be back
Great property in great neighborhood! This was the perfect little cottage for my daughters and I to stay for our short visit. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommend:)
We enjoyed our stay very much. Short walk or drive to downtown Tarpon Springs and Greek Village. Got to see dolphins swimming in nearby bayou. Accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
Charming apartment in a convenient location. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. Thoughtful attention to detail by the owners. Highly recommended.
Overall, it is a very cute property with nice decor and well stocked with items that are needed for your stay. It was a relatively quiet place, though if there is anyone on the top floor, you can hear all movements and footsteps, which made it a little difficult to sleep. The main problem that we noticed was a very dusty/mold like smell as soon as we walked in. My friend and I are both allergic to dust and mold, so our allergies were acting up the whole time. But the most concerning part was the black mold we found throughout the shower, especially coming from the shower head, and all over the shower head cord. The shower floor was also stained and dirty, along with a line of black mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. We felt more comfortable wearing flip-flops in the shower. Lastly, we found a small dead bug on one of the pillow cases in the guess bedroom. I very rarely write reviews, and am usually pretty passive, but I truly felt this needed to be known, and I hope that these issues are resolved before the next guess comes for everyoneâs safety and comfort, because it is a very cute place to stay.
I loved staying here! The location was perfect; only a short walk to the sponge docks with shopping and restaurants and literally across a street from a beautiful park and spring. The neighborhood is quiet. John was an excellent host and responded immediately to any issue or question. My only issue was that the listing indicated there was a hot tub, but there was not. I would have used it had there been, but it was fine without one. I would definitely stay here again!
We have been married for 50 years. We enjoy traveling and meeting new people. We love hosting and giving our guests a great value in a beautiful location.
Our main house is 110 years old. The cottage was built around 1925 and was renovated several times over the years. My son and I renovated the property about 7 years ago and my wife is responsible for all the decor. She does a great job.
You will receive a first class place to stay at a price much lower than any hotel. The apartments are clean and well stocked. We are close to so many great places to enjoy your vacation. Our neighborhood is quiet and safe. We know you will enjoy your stay. We look forward to serving you and your family.
