À distance de marche du golfe du Mexique, cet appartement au deuxième étage est à quelques minutes du centre-ville de Tarpon Springs et des célèbres quais Sponge. Détendez-vous sur les chaises berçantes du porche avant ou regardez les balbuzards nicher dans les grands pins près du porche arrière. La chambre principale comprend un lit king size, une télévision LED et une salle de bain privée. La deuxième chambre comprend un lit réglable queen size Select Comfort et une télévision LED. Il y a une deuxième salle de bain complète dans le couloir. Le canapé du salon se transforme en un lit queen size pour les invités supplémentaires. Cuisinez vos propres repas ou profitez des nombreux établissements de restauration allant de la cuisine grecque traditionnelle, la gastronomie ou le restaurant local en bas de la rue. Very clean, nice live-able space, made you feel like you are at home, plenty of things to do in the area, spectacular view of fireworks, and we visited in season to get some of the freshest mangos, fresh off the treewe’ve ever had.

Lovely place. Very large and comfortable. It has everything needed for a very pleasant stay. Comfortable beds. Excellent shower (really important to me). We have been renting vrbo 2 or 3 times a year and this was the cleanest place we have ever stayed at. Not a spec of dust or cobweb. We had a great stay.

The property is even nicer than described. The owners were super helpful and location was perfect !!

We stayed for a week over Christmas as it was only a block from my parents home. It was well stocked with cooking supplies, games and was even decorated for the holidays! There are two beautiful parks within walking distance, but you would need a car to go to Sponge Docks, shopping, etc. . Overall it was a great experience and we will be coming back!

The hosts go above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable and enjoy your stay in their beautiful accommodations. Lovely layout with space to unwind with a laid back Florida vibe. Super clean, well stocked kitchen and amenities. The neighborhood is safe and welcoming. Walk to the beach in minutes and enjoy your coffee on the front porch or sip your wine on the back porch in the afternoon. Highly recommend!

We loved this apartment rental! We were surprised how spacious it was. Open living/kitchen space, 2 decks. Great bedrooms and closet space. The owners thought of everything we might need and provided it! Laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Definitely a top notch rental!

Great property!

The property was exactly as described, only better! The neighborhood was well kept and quiet. The condo was spacious and very clean. The kitchen was huge and had everything you would have at home!. There was a short walk to Sunset Beach to see the sunset and beach. Short drive to Fred Howard Park. Very nice park and beach. The restaurants we ate at were very good! Mike & Jill were available for any questions. We enjoyed visiting with them. Can’t wait to come back!

Everything and more...

We travel to this area frequently, and have seen the good, the bad, and the "heck no!". Mike and Jill keep their unit amazingly clean, organized and decorated. The neighborhood is beautiful, the location is convenient. Mike made checking in easier than a hotel, and everything you could possibly need was provided, down to coffee! We will absolutely be staying here again! I wish I could give it 10 stars!

Gracious and conscientious hosts

The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. They gave us mangoes daily from their tree and they even mailed us a charger we accidentally left behind. Great communication. The house was clean, organized, well-explained. Location is perfect. The pull-out sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable for two people, but that's to be expected. It is upstairs above a garage so people with mobility issues should be aware of the stairs. We would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding property and great location

This property was wonderful. I really can't say enough about it. It exceeded my expectations. It was immaculately clean very spacious and well stocked with all the essentials. The central air unit kept the temperature throughout the unit very comfortable. The beds were great and the bathrooms were clean and modern. This is a very spacious rental with a large living room and kitchen. Plus a covered deck off the living room which also can be accessed from the master bedroom as well as a second covered deck on the on the other side of the house accessed from the kitchen area. It's a short two block walk to Sunset beach and about a mile walk or short drive to Fred Howard Park a much larger and busier beech area. The property is located in a beautiful tranquil neighborhood where can freely walk with no concerns for your safety. The owners live next door and are very friendly and quickly available should you need anything. I highly recommend this property and will certainly stay here on any future Tarpon Springs adventures.

We stayed for 2 days prior to our cruise out of Tampa and the property was very beautiful. The pictures of this property does not do justice. Our kids enjoyed having the games for them. If we stay in the area again we will be returning to this property.

Hidden Gem!

Mike and Jill have a beautiful property. Very clean and they were great with communication. The apartment has everything that you could need for a beach house vacation. Literally! The neighbors are friendly. There’s a private chill beach about 5 mins walking. All together this was a great trip. We will be back before the summer is over!

This property surpassed our expectations in every way. It is a beautiful home away from home, in an excellent location. Walk to the beach, short drive to the stores and restaurants. There were two decks and a very well supplied kitchen. Mike and Jill are very friendly and eager to ensure that you have what you need to truly enjoy your stay in Tarpon Springs! Highly recommend!

Spring Break 2022!

Mike and Jill's apartment is a great home away from home! You feel so welcome from the moment you walk in their place. They put a lot of love and care into your stay and leave nothing out! Very clean, nicely decorated, roomy, kid friendly and the neighborhood is great too. We walked down to Sunset Beach and the kids saw their first sunset over the ocean, and didn't feel unsafe at all! This was the first trip that I didn't feel the need to clean and Clorox wipe everything down before we settled in. We really felt at home. Their apartment has too many good features to name all of them. They really go above and beyond to make your stay awesome! They are the sweetest folks and you can not go wrong staying here. Even had decor set out for Easter with the cutest little bunnies.... Hope to be back to see you again. The Brewers from Lula, Ga..

Mike and Jill both graduated from Tarpon Springs High School. Mike is a retire U.S. Army Blackhawk pilot who returned home after 20 years of service. Mike is a Coast Guard licensed boat captain who you can charter for local tours to the barrier islands or dolphin watching. His experiences from living around the world and his enjoyment of construction and wood working allows him to apply multicultural design to his projects.

Jill, his number one assistant, performs most of the finish work but don't let her fool you, she can operate every tool in the shop if needed.

Mike and Jill live next door in the connected house so they are available should you need anything.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This apartment was constructed as a mother-in-law suite. It is 1800 square feet with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan that makes the space feel huge. Mike and Jill did all of the finish work on this apartment. Their love for hand made wood is evident throughout. From the oak parquet floors to the hand made oak kitchen cabinets are all part of the warm wood feeling. They tried to use recycled materials where practical as you will see in the fence material salvaged after hurricane Irma incorporated into the master bedroom furniture and the decorative wall.

Tarpon has many scheduled events to offer vacationers. Enjoy the free concert on the beach the first Thursday each month. The first Friday of each month join the downtown street festival with live music, food and beverages available for purchase. If you are looking for July 4th fireworks look no further. The annual display is launched from Sunset Beach, all you have to do is walk out the front door to enjoy the display. If you are vacationing in early January you don't want to miss the Orthodox celebration of the baptism of Jesus Christ held at Spring Bayou.

After spending time in Tarpon Springs you will see why Mike and Jill had to return to their home town.

Location is everything, as you can see on the map this apartment is just next to Sunset Beach. If you would like a larger beach, Fred Howard Park is a short mile down the road. There, you can picnic in the park, take a nature walk, play baseball, fish, launch your jet ski, rent paddle boats and kayaks or just lay on the beach and soak up the sun.
