Great spot in Breck!

The property was amazing, and the property management was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. There was plenty of space for my coworkers to spread out, and the renovated property met all of our expectations. I highly recommend this location and will stay there again!

Amazing Location

We traveled as a group of 3 families and this house worked out so well. The location really can’t be beat. You can walk to everything in town and the gondola is right there. The patio overlooking the river and mountains was a favorite spot for everyone!

Amazing Property in the Heart of Breckenridge!

This home is exceptional and exactly as advertised. We had a family of 14 stay for a week in June, 2025 and it was a wonderful time. Downtown is just steps outside the front door, easy access to dining, shopping, bike trails, the gondola etc. Communication with the property manager was timely and any questions/issues that came up were taken care of promptly. Our family highly recommends this property and we hope to be back again next year!

Perfect house and spot for 8 adults and 9 kids trim 1 to 13. Easy to walk everywhere and great sleeping accommodations. Would definitely do it again!

Incredible location

Wonderful house in an absolutely incredible location. There is a slightly awkward house/bedroom layout, but that pales in comparison to the perfect location. This house was ideal for a big family ski trip. 5 stars for sure!

Perfect for families

This house is so special and in the most perfect location. We used the space for a little friend-family reunion and it was perfect. The kids loved the outdoor area and creek, the house was very spacious and it was a treat to be so close to coffee, churros and donuts every morning. Our trip was in the summer but we definitely want to come back in the winter!

Great place! Perfect location and comfotable!

We rented the River House Lodge and Chalet. The location is perfect and cannot be beat. Only a few steps away from gondola, shops, and restaurants. Beds are comfy and Every room has its own bathroom which is very nice. Ms. Mary was so great, she was very responsive to any concerns or needs that we had. Breckenridge is my favorite place and I definitely will be back to stay here.

Great Place Right Downtown For Large Groups

The River House is a great place for large groups. Being right downtown made it easy to get to the restaurants, shops, gondola and grocery store. We really did not have a need for a rental car. We definitely will be back next time we all come to Breckenridge.

Fantastic in so many ways

The River House is a great option for larger groups that want room to spread out! It is perfectly located on the main thoroughfare in Breckenridge, allowing for an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the gondola. The hot tub in the back along the river was a great spot for the group to enjoy in the evening and offered beautiful views in the morning to start the day. Check in and out was absolutely seamless.

Great location, great house

The house is great for a large group. It is close to everything. You can walk to the Gondola, shopping, and dining. There is a grocery store very convenient, and it has everything like you would see at home. The views are amazing. Having the two kitchens was very nice and they were stocked with everything we needed. We received a very quick response to any questions we had and the check-in / check-out process was very simple.

Cleanliness, Hospitality, and Location Made This VRBO Stay A Family Reunion to Remember

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and spacious home. We loved having access to both kitchens and could easily spread out between the dining tables, living area, sitting area, and outdoor space that included a hot tub. We were just steps away from the gondola and appreciated being able to walk Main Street without having to find parking. We also enjoyed listening to the river run in the back yard. The upgraded kitchens were fully stocked. If you have older family or friends, make sure they can manage stairs, but if stairs are not a concern, you will love this place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group loved this rental! The house matched the description and definitely lived up to the expectations. The text assistance was great. Being able to report a problem or ask a question and get an answer right away was very convenient. We used the service to report a non-working dishwasher and they stepped us through a reset process before ultimately sending a technician. I am not sure the dishwasher actually got repaired, but just having responses was helpful. I will note that they do not include the service fees and cleaning fees in the price they display. We definitely got sticker shock at the final payment amount. But ultimately it was worth it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family, eight adults and five children, stayed in the River House for four nights in five days. This was the first weekend in December. We skied, shopped, took a snow care tour and enjoyed our family together in the beautiful home. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, the location was extremely close to the gondola and downtown. It was pretty near perfect!

Couldn't Ask for a Better House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 18 people stay at The River House over Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. A hidden gem. Each room was clean and well-maintained. It's important to us that where we stay be clean and this home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was amazing and updated with top-of-the-line appliances. (The only caution is that the gas stove knobs in both kitchens are touchy and would come on if someone bumped them. One night we smelled gas and realized a burner was on.) The location is so perfect. You are within walking distance of everything! The view from the back patio is what you came for! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely return!

The hot tub on the Blue River was amazing. Highly recommend for large groups.

Perfect Location

This is the perfect property for a large group who likes to ski during the day and hang out on the town at night. Place is literally 100 yards to gondola and 100 ft to Main Street. I would take this property over any ski/in out house on the mountain. Plenty of space and good “hang out” area in basement. Highly recommend.
