Great place

We stayed for 6 days. The place was exactly as listed. We had an amazing view and everything went smoothly. We never had to contact anyone because everything was great. We would definitely stay there again and I can’t say enough great things about our entire stay.

Great location close to the access for music festivals. Quiet as well. Unfortunately that is all the positive things I can say. For over $500 per night, I would expect a place that is not ant infested. Any food or snacks (wrapped and not opened) left on the kitchen counters were immediately covered with ants within a few hours. I must have killed over 100 little ants during our stay. The furniture is ok, TVs are WAAAY too small to be viewable. A/C worked but wasn't locked to not be set below 70 degrees - again unacceptable for the price. I will find somewhere else next time. Very disappointed.

Great Location, Could Use a Few Updates

Overall it was a nice place to stay. The location is great. You can walk to the boardwalk in 2 minutes and because it is south of the Route 50 Bridge you don't have all that traffic. Great view of the inlet. Nice porch to sit and enjoy views. The unit needs a complete overhaul, though. Everything is dated except the fridge. I saw this comment in other reviews and thought it would be quaint but it is kind of extreme. The building is really nice and clean. Seems to be well-run. I would probably stay there again if I returned to OCMD. Pros: -Great Location - Very nice building - Good value - Secure parking on-site - Washer/Dryer in unit - Good size - Ice maker in unit Cons: - Parking spot is tight - Found some old tater tots in one chair - Sleeper sofa is pretty much shot. Main support is bent. Sticks when opening or closing. - Range/Oven appear to be original to unit based on serial #(~1987) - Dishwasher appears to be original based on serial # (~1987) - Slight smoke odor - One towel was clearly stained and unusable - Garbage disposal should be labeled and equipped with rocker switch to prevent unintentional usage - Very confused by check-in process - Bathroom set-up is bizarre - Outdoor furniture is not comfortable - Indoor furniture is not comfortable

Hi Elias, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the place for the most part. I will check on the couch and repair or replace it as needed. The appliances are all in good working condition and the place is well-maintained. I will check in with my cleaning team to make sure nothing gets overlooked in the future, although they usually do a great job.

Nice stay

Overall the condo was a nice place. Furniture definitely outdated and could either be replaced or steam cleaned along with the carpets. The bottoms of my socks were filthy after wearing them for just a few hours. Please, please ,please replace the stove. The cast iron burners are so difficult to cook on. The view from balcony was awesome! Very short walk to beach and boardwalk. No rowdy neighbors. But I was not aware Maryland legalize marijuana. It reeked almost everywhere but near the condo building. Would definitely consider renting again but only if the stove is replaced. We could deal with the outdated furniture but the stove would be a deal breaker.

Perfect for our Family of 3

This condo was a step back in time and it was AWESOME!! Close to everything and condo came with all the necessities we needed. The extra half bath was a perfect for us. The view of the bay from the balcony was beautiful!! The beds were a little uncomfortable but we made due. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had some hiccups in the beginning but the owner worked to make sure things were taken care of.

We were given a door code to enter the unit upon arrival. The code worked but someone (probably cleaning crew) used a key and locked the top deadbolt. We called the number in the reservation email and she called the owner who called us back. He gave us the code to a lock box to find physical keys. But only two keys were there, not three and the missing one being the one needed for the deadbolt. The owner then called the property manager office who pulled their keys for my husband to go pick up. After we got into the unit, he then had to drive the keys back to the office, roughly 20 blocks. It was annoying and added about an hour to check in. Once in the unit we noticed the sheets were not clean on the beds, dirt, leaves, long hairs were in the sheets. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it, loaded but never ran from previous guests. I called the owner who apologized and offered us the linens and cleaning supplies from the owners closet he shared how to open. The floors looked clean, bathrooms had been cleaned and the furniture was not nearly as dirty as other guest have reviewed, just dated. The location was perfect, our kids loved watching the boats in the bay and the pool was nice. We did not use much in the kitchen but it's very well stocked! The owner was very apologetic for our issues on arrival and communicated well with us throughout our stay. We sent pictures of things that were not cleaned so hopefully the cleaning crew will do better next time. The owner worked with us to make things right which is why we are giving this a 4 star review overall.

Enjoyed our stay

Pros: Location was perfect, short 5 minute walk to the boardwalk. Being able to park on the property huge plus! Having a washing machine was also a big bonus (who wants to come home from vacation to tons of laundry). Kids also enjoyed being able to swim in the pool. Having a kitchen with refrigerator allowed us to plan breakfast and lunches instead of constantly going out to eat. Cons: the beds were a little rough and the guest room television wasn’t working. All in all great stay. Hope to stay here again next summer.

Great Condo for Girls Trip

This is a cute condo. Very and I mean VERY dated furniture. We affectionately named it the "Golden Girls" condo. The sofa, with the dated floral fabric and bamboo chairs is very small! I think if this was a family and the dad is a big guy, he would be quite uncomfortable, as all the chairs in the unit, other than the small sofa are club chairs. The dining table in the living room has HEAVILY soiled chairs that need to be cleaned badly. The beds are comfortable, with very firm mattresses, and the bedding appears to be new, so we weren't grossed out by it. This is a one bedroom with two queen beds and a dresser with mirror and small closet to hang items. The chair in the bedroom is filthy. It literally looks like someone bled out on it. It was used to hold beach bags only. So basically, there was nowhere to sit in this unit, because everything felt run down and old. Now the the cleanliness...the unit was spotless, despite the soiled furniture. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The two half baths connect to the shower/tub area. The shower spits water at you, so if you like heavy conditioner like we do, you are in trouble. I think a quick run to Lowe's or Home Depot for a new shower head is in order. The kitchen is dated as well, but all appliances are in working order. There are plenty of plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans and serving spoons/forks and spatulas. But you are in Ocean City, you shouldnt be cooking haha. The unit has a punch code lock, and uses an elevator key to enter the building. It's very secure and located barely two blocks from the beach. it's less than a 30 second walk! You have a GORGEOUS view of the pool, haha, and the marina and Bay. One thing that bothered me was it was posted in the unit that the pool code was located in the elevator, but it is not. Luckily, I flagged someone down and was able to get it. I think it should be posted in the unit, and if it changes, the caretaker of the unit can find out the code and have it waiting for guests. There is parking located in the ground level garage. This unit is right off the elevator, the first unit actually. But I was never bothered by noise, or heard constant pinging of the elevator. Finally, I dont think this unit would be good for families, as there is NO SPACE. It's great for a girls group, which we were, on a girls trip, who dont mind living in close quarters with limited seating. Plus, if I have to cover a dining chair with a towel to sit down, that's pretty gross. Please clean the upholstery. There balcony has seating for 2, and a table, and great to bird watch. If you're a family, consider looking at a larger property. If you're a girls group, this is perfect. The Golden Girls decorations reminded me of the tv show haha.
