Hi Marti, we want all of our guests to find the perfect vacation rental for their stay, so we take the accuracy of our listings seriously. The homeowner would like to share the following: -We value our guests and have very high standards for our property, and we are sorry for any inconvenience -While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, the charm of the home is rustic and has many amenities for a pleasant stay -The listing does warn guests of the need for AWD or 4WD during the winter. There have been no issues with any cars using the driveway during the summer -The owner let us know they will be installing Wifi and will be updating the listing accordingly to accommodate future guests Thank you for sharing your feedback. Hi Melissa, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:- We recognize that the windows can be challenging. Although they are all functional, some are heavy and difficult to open. A few require a dowel to keep them open. The intense sunlight at 7,000 feet of elevation and low humidity have affected the window seals. We are actively addressing these issues.- The freezer issue has been resolved by a certified appliance service.- Wi-Fi has been installed as of July 1, 2024, and we are in the process of updating the listing.- We appreciate your feedback on the furniture. As a result, we are replacing the recliner.- Laundry detergent pods were available, but we acknowledge they may have been difficult to find. We will ensure they are more visible and properly labeled. While we provided partial and full rolls of toilet paper and paper towels, we are using your feedback to improve our stocking procedures.- Nobody likes spiders or their webs! While we strive to maintain a clean environment, spiders are very common in our rural location. Despite our best efforts, some may slip in between cleanings, and we appreciate your understanding.Thank you for your valuable insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!
