En juin, la construction du mur de mer du récif de Kahana a repris et devrait être terminée d'ici la fin de l'année. En conséquence, des travaux de construction auront lieu sur la propriété et pourraient entraîner un bruit de construction tôt le matin et une obstruction de la vue commençant dans la zone près des piscines et se terminant d'ici la fin de l'année de l'autre côté. Nous maintenons nos prix extrêmement bas pour refléter tout inconvénient que cela pourrait causer à nos clients!

Ce petit condo confortable est parfaitement situé à seulement 60 pieds du bord de l'océan avec une vue panoramique sur Lanai et Molokai! Vous pouvez observer les baleines et les tortues de mer tout en sirotant votre café du matin directement sur la véranda, ou vous pouvez explorer la région, avec Front Street à Lahaina, Whaler's Village à Kaanapali, et la plage la mieux classée des États-Unis, Kapalua Bay Plage, à seulement 5-15 minutes !!

En avril 2019, nous avons terminé de grandes améliorations, notamment un tout nouveau matelas king dans la chambre, une rénovation totale de la cuisine avec tous les nouveaux appareils, un nouveau canapé-lit queen-size avec matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme, de beaux sols en vinyle et nous pensons que les résultats sont incroyables!

Si vous cherchez à rester près de chez vous, vous pouvez choisir entre la piscine, des chaises longues le long de la digue ou notre propre petite plage de sable tranquille au nord du complexe pour vous détendre, ou vous pouvez utiliser le condo comme votre rampe de lancement pour tous les endroits incroyables à explorer sur l'île!

La cuisine est entièrement équipée, et le barbecue communautaire est également disponible pour votre usage juste à droite de notre unité !!

Nous avons des serviettes de plage, des chaises de plage, une glacière insultée, des planches de bodyboard et des tubas à votre disposition !!

Ce condo fait partie de notre famille depuis plus de 18 ans, donc que ce soit des vacances en famille ou une escapade romantique, nous espérons que vous serez notre invité et que vous passerez un merveilleux moment sur la magnifique île de Maui !!

Emplacement parfait et logement au top

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait en famille dans cet appartement. La localisation est parfaite pour visiter l'ouest de Maui. Seul bémol à mettre sur le confort du canapé-lit.... un peu bruyant quand on bouge et surtout le matelas un peu fin et on sent beaucoup le sommier.

Throw a line out, you're that close to the water!

Condo is nice with breathtaking views! It's nearly impossible to be any closer to the water!Enjoyed watching the turtles and the shark's fishing near the shore!Helpful hands for future travelers, the coffee maker is a Kurig, so be prepare your shopping accordingly. Consider your expectations as disclosed no AC, so it can be hot and humid. Absolutely, we would consider staying here again!

Lovely Location

There are a good number of positives about this property. The location can't be beat, the views are amazing, and the condo's quaintness made for a great experience. The towels were fresh and new, and the bedding was very clean overall. The kitchen is well stocked, and the fridge has an icemaker, which helps keep those beverages cold. We saw numerous sea turtles, rainbows, and beautiful sunsets. The downside of this property is that the bathroom and the condo itself need a deep clean. The bathroom is older, which a person can deal with. However, it was not clean.

Lovely first floor unit with unbeatable views. Very comfortable master bed along with plenty of kitchen necessities. By far the warmest pool we have ever experience. That was a great surprise. Easy parking and excellent proximity to food options galore. Thank you!

This is the place!

My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful condo. The condo decor and accommodation are fabulous! As far as the location (especially on the ground floor), it was the BEST experience ever! You're able to open the sliding door and enjoy the ocean view, sounds, and breeze. There is no AC, and it was not needed with the cross breeze moving through the condo. The location is exactly what we needed. Not too close to the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but still close enough to drive to. One huge plus, we were able to see Whales, dolphins, and tortoises, from the back deck. The owners graciously have binoculars to use along with snorkel gear. This condo rental will be our number-one choice for future Maui vacations. Needless to say, super happy with our condo choice!

Everything was as advertised. Cannot beat a ground level unit right on the water. Loved the views, turtles, pool and clean, quiet grounds. Don’t pass this one by.

Quiet, clean, and peaceful.

First first time at the property, but perhaps 10th time on Maui. Thought the unit was very clean, updated, had everything we needed, with a lovely view. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I hesitated when I saw that it was a ground floor unit, but pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It’s a private area with an excellent view of the water which really is 60 feet away from your patio. China Boat is a restaurant across the street which we had takeout from and ate on our patio and it was excellent. The accommodations were magnificent. They really do have a gem on Maui.

Great location

Older property but great location and view! We loved our stay and plan to return. Very convenient and close to the main tourist areas but we looked forward to getting back to our room, and view, each day after activities. Having snorkel gear, and beach chairs was a plus. No A/C was a concern but the ocean breeze flowing thru the unit very nice!

Great place in Maui. The room is oceanfront on ground floor. No direct beach access due to rocky area, but you can walk to nearby beaches if desired. I'd stay here again.

Great location.

Loved this location. Plenty of great beaches & plenty of great restaurants in the area. Saw turtles almost daily. Loved having the beach chairs & snorkeling gear as well as a small cooler on hand. Chocolates on arrival a nice touch. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that it’s slightly outdated & a little on the warm side with no air conditioner. Fan was provided. There is a self pay laundry station just out the door. We would book here again. Great communication with the hosts.

Pleasant stay

The apartment was just what we needed. Loved the beach gear that was available. Beach chairs, umbrella and snorkel stuff. The kitchen was nice and well equipped with appliances if you wanted to do any cooking. The bedroom and bathroom are dated but the owners book says they are on the list to be remodeled. The couch, spare blankets and the bathroom just felt so/so clean but everything else was good. The turtles, sharks and sunsets did not disappoint! The unit is not air-conditioned but I prefer the ocean breeze blowing through anyway. Overall pleasant stay!

Great location/comfortable and well appointed

We spent four days at this great little condo. It was well located close to lots of beautiful beaches and plenty of Restaurants and places to shop. Loved the ground floor location. Beautiful cross breeze kept it cool day and night. We didn’t cook a lot because our stay was only four days, but the kitchen looked very well appointed. And I particularly appreciate the functional knife set. So many properties skimp on their knives but this set offered everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of towels for two of us. I definitely stay again. There was so much to do and see in West Maui I definitely stay again. There was so much to do and see in West Maui we for sure we for sure need to go back.

Wonderful!

We had a great stay! Away from the resort chaos yet close to everything. Amazing views with sea turtles every day! Quiet neighbors and very clean grounds. All of the beach equipment that was provided was the best! Didn’t have to worry about renting anything. There really isn’t an accessible sandy beach but that didn’t detract from our visit. Thank you!!!

Maui at its best. Pure magic

I took my two young daughters, 9 and 13, for their very first trip to Maui. The property is very well kept and close to markets, food, etc. The owners left a folder explaining the history of the unit and how it’s been in the family for many years. It was a pleasure to be a guest and create new memories in this home. My daughters absolutely loved it! We saw sea turtles, sharks, rainbows and so much more! I’ll definitely plan on starting here again on my future visits.

Perfect getaway!

This was the perfect location for our anniversary trip. My husband's first trip to the islands! The condo was clean, spacious, and had the most stunning view! It was in a fantastic location close to coffee, restaurants, and the bigger resorts to access their luaus, restaurants, etc. Loved the absolute peace of this condo though! Enjoyed the outside spaces at all times of day. Parking was always available! We would love to come back!

Anniversary Trip

We stayed at Kahana Reef 47 years ago on our honeymoon. We had a budget of $1000. We needed airfare, lodging, a car, and food. A travel agent directed us to $20/night condos for our two weeks, Kahana Reef. Individually owned and rented through office by laundry room. Still have brochure in our album. Direct beach access, no sea wall or pool then China boat predicessor across the street as well as sugar cane fields up the hillside. They were burning the cane while we were here. Amazing sight. Created a few issues with small critters escaping the burning but KR was prepared. Great visit then and 3 more visits since. First time we have been on ground floor. Love this unit. Clean and neat. We bbq’d with our son n family who were staying down the road. Great family sunset pics. Oh has Kahana changed since our first visit. Here you don’t feel crowded. DnJ

This cozy little spot beautifully overlooking the Hawaiian Islands of Lanai and Molokai has been in our family for 18 years, purchased the year my husband and I got married. My parents, Dave and Sandy, mainly used it as a winter retreat seeking a reprieve from the cold winters of Northern Idaho.
After my Dad’s passing in 2017, we began to consider how best to manage it for the future. Makana is the Hawaiian word for gift. The Hawaiian Islands were very special to both my parents, but my dad especially really loved it here. Being able to keep this beautiful spot in our family feels like a gift that he has left behind for his kids, his grandkids, and I hope his great grandkids!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

You can’t spend 5 minutes on the Hawaiian islands without recognizing what a incredible gift this beautiful island is to it’s occupants and many visitors. Makana at Kahana Reef, or the gift at Kahana Reef, reflects our thankfulness to God for blessing us with such a gift in His vibrant creation so apparent as you listen to the bird song, smell the fragrance of all the different varieties of flowers, watch the whales breaching just off the shores, and on and on as you wander through this incredible island.
My dad was a retired law Enforcement officer for the U.S. Forest Service. You’ll find ‘his’ coffee cup in the cupboards! If you use it, consider sending up a quick prayer for your local law enforcement community! :0)
On a practical note, we have just finished major renovations of the Condo this past April 2019. We plan to finish next year by completing the bathroom makeover, new flooring in the bedroom, new ceiling, and tiling on the lanai. We hope you enjoy the improvements, and appreciate your understanding that there are still some parts of the condo with some character left from the old days! :0) Also, as some of our first guests, please let us know how we might better equip the condo to make it a even more enjoyable stay! If there is something we missed, we’d love to hear about it!

The best thing in our opinion about this condo is it's location!! The Ocean is your front yard, with so many places to enjoy right on location, but Kahana is also a incredible location for seeing some of the most beautiful parts of Maui!!
