Great experience renting this property. We had an issue with a shower and the management was quick to respond and resolve the problem. Would definitely stay again.

The hot tub was clean and beautiful! The temp was just right and the waterfall was wonderful!The condo was very clean, and they were very thoughtful with extra blankets, games, and the beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back again!!

Great Place

The location was great as were the views. There was a hot tub which I found very useful. Very easy to check in. I would highly recommend staying here.

Enjoyable stay

The rental was very comfortable. Enjoyed the welcome basket, which was thoughtful and for our brief stay the townhome had all the essentials we needed for a pleasant stay. Dwight was very helpful upon our arrival to answer any questions we may have.

Was as described. MBR bed too soft, woke up with sore back. Having to take garbage with you as leaving was a headache. Why can’t just leave in the trash bins in the garage?

Wonderful 3bdr on Palmer 8th Tee

Nice view of the Santa Rosa mountains and the 8th tee at the Palmer Private course. The home was clean and perfect for our two couples. Property manager Dwight was fantastic, engaging us proactively to ensure we had everything we needed. We asked for the windows to be cleaned for a better view and presto, the next day, they were done. We will stay here again if it's available.

Townhome with spa

Roomy layout. Beautiful view of golf course and mountains. Spa was selling point— it was prestine and cleaned weekly. Very quiet neighborhood. Going in the fall was a perfect time to go to the desert. Just wanted to chill and be with family. Eat, drink coffee in the morning on the patio looking at those impressive mountains, and drink wine in the evening looking at the stars come out. At times you can hear the big horn sheep butt horns. We drove a bit to look at them but could only see them at a far distance. They were impressive.

BEAUTIFUL

Great condo, very clean, beautiful patio with lovely hot tub, excellent view of mountains, well appointed. Do recommend however, few issues along the way that need to be rectified for future renters. All screen doors broken, off tracks, dont fit or stay on. Master slider blinds falling off. Master bed is so squishy that we ended up sleeping on the couch for the rest of our stay. Guest bed was so firm it hurt our guests back as well. Both need to be replaced. Master bathroom had a funky smell that needs to be found.

PGA West 2024

We loved the overall location and atmosphere st PHA West. We have stayed at many different condos here. This particular unit was quite dirty and needs updates. The kitchen has the bare minimum. Cookie sheets were put away dirty; no tea kettle; pencil drawer had many stains and pantry cabinet had what appeared to be active mold growing. The hallway smoke detector was hanging by the power cables from ceiling. Our master bath had a broken towel bar. Although we loved the private hot tub on the rear patio, I would not recommend this home to anyone. I tried reaching out to our host, but nothing was resolved during our stay.

After reviewing your comments, the homeowner wanted to share the following:- Our property manager, Dwight, thoroughly inspects the property after cleaning. He confirmed that the smoke detector was secure before your arrival, and it appears a ladder was moved during your stay, possibly to change the battery in the smoke detector. - The towel rack in the main bathroom was intact when the home was prepared for your stay, and towels were hung on it with no issues.- The kitchen cabinet stains were checked by our property manager and found not to be mold. However, we’ve replaced all the shelf paper in the kitchen for peace of mind.- While we don’t list a tea kettle as an amenity, we apologize if this caused any inconvenience. The cookie sheets have been replaced since your stay.Thank you for letting us know about your visit.

PGA West - La Quinta

Another successful stay at a PGA West property. This turnkey unit is ideally situated on the Palmer course. It is very easy to get in and out from the main gate and is centrally located, the perfect place to explore the area. It is a beautiful, quiet place to relax and unwind. The only complaint that I have (and it's very minor) is that the "instructions" and "rule book" of the house, which is prominently displayed and worth a read, some of it (in my opinion) is a bit of an overreach. It might be a combination of the HOA rules and what the owners expect. They should be clarified upfront. Because even as a I read it wasn't really clear and did not really make sense given the trash pick up day. One rule asks that you take your garbage with you when you leave. That is a very specific request and, if required, should be discussed upfront. It feels like a campsite rule. Fortunately, our stay fell on a trash pick-up day, and we were able to leave the cans out on the street. The second request is that we wash and fold the sheets and the towels. I am a big believer in leaving a place better than we found it, but that seems like NOW we are working for the owner. Also, if I am paying a service fee on top of the daily rate, that should be part of the "cleaning fee". Regardless, my wife was happy to do it. These are two little gripes and should not take away from a great place to stay.

Nice home-base for a family vacation

We had a nice stay at PGA west with our teenagers between Christmas and NYE. The location works well with older kids. Spacious living areas, three bedrooms and two bathrooms were key to family harmony for the week. Hot tub did not hurt either!

Great location

We had a great vacation at this home. The kitchen is well stocked, beds were comfortable and we were right across from a heated pool. (Not all pools are heated and when we first arrived none of the pools were heated). The complaints I do have is that we had to clean the windows, floors, patio, hot tub once we checked in. Also because October is a slow month down there, the grounds had not been taken care of around the house and we had no heated pools for the beginning of our stay. We have stayed at PGA west properties a number of times and this property did not rate as one of the best but the California sunshine and the beautiful PGA grounds and atmosphere made up for it.

Excellent Stay at La Quinta/PGA West

Our family had a really nice visit in November 2020. The house was great for the five of us: Two parents, 4th Grader, 5th Grader and Grandma! We enjoyed the private jacuzzi more than we thought we would and also made use of several of the pools throughout the Palmer Course property. We also had a beautiful morning hike on the La Quinta Cove trails, played tennis at the courts at Fritz Burns Park and had a look at the Old Town La Quinta shopping and restaurant district nearby. Given that it was the time of the pandemic, we mostly had meals at the house. The well-stocked kitchen + outdoor patio BBQ were great for that and grocery delivery direct to the house from both Instacart/Sprouts and Target could not have been easier. We also got takeout pizza and pasta one night from Enzo's in Old Town...it was excellent! The weather for 5 days in late November couldn't have been better. We look forward to an opportunity to come back in the years ahead!

Wonderful property! Well worth it!

My Wife & I enjoyed our stay at this property very much. The private spa was a nice touch. Dwight was extremely helpful, checking us in and helping with all our needs. We would definitely consider this property again.
