Inspirez-vous des vibrations de la côte nord de TC dans ce cottage récemment rénové, idéalement situé pour toutes les aventures! Dans la matinée, prenez un café et des burritos au café local, avant de partir pour une journée de plaisir au soleil. Marchez jusqu'à la plage ou faites une balade à vélo dans le centre-ville pour faire du shopping via le chemin Tart, deux marches. Minutes de randonnée, de kayak, des dunes et des vignobles! Dans l'après-midi, un court trajet en voiture pour découvrir une excellente bière artisanale et gastronomique. Enfin, attrapez un coucher de soleil sur la baie avant de rentrer pour une bonne nuit de sommeil!

House was perfect! It was clean and stocked with everything we’d need. The hot tub was fantastic, clean, great temp, and the jets are perfect! We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for tooling around Traverse City. House was great, hot tub was superb. We didn’t get to explore around in the park out back, but we are looking forward to a summer return! Highly recommend this home and host!

Sweet little cabin next to a creek and an easy walk to the beach. Perfect place to explore Traverse City, Big Bear Dunes and attend performances at Interlochen School of the Arts. The hosts thought of everything to make you feel at home, comfortable beds, attractive spaces indoors and out to hang out and a well-equipped kitchen.

Very great location very close to Traverse City. I think they were very great to mention that it is on the main road. If my kids are a little bit younger, probably a little bit too close, but my oldest really loved being near the stream seeing all the fish… they loved the hot tub. They loved the Fire pit. It was great to be a quick drive into Traverse City. Very clean and cute .

We try to still make it as secluded as possible with trees and the 8ft tall privacy fence, leaving only the driveway open. The property was described to a tee. Very clean, very convenient location. All the amenities were as described and makes you feel right at home. Definitely would stay here again!

The entire stay was wonderful. The home is in a great location, close to everything you can imagine. Tranquil winter stay

My husband and I came for almost a week, the property is lovely and clean. Kitchen had all we needed and the property is definitely well-thought out. Plenty of towels for the hot tub, basic necessities and owners are very responsive. Only downside is the street noise is noticeable but we just played music which covered it easily.

Great stay with family

The property is great! It was listed accurately and was very accommodating. The kitchen had everything that was needed to cook and enjoy! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. It was a great stay at a very conveniently located, cozy home.

Summer/birthday party vacay

This establishment was amazing, it was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a great summer vacation spot to explore downtown traverse, the wineries and the near by inland lakes. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Fall Weekend

Great place to stay while we were in TC for a soccer tournament. Loved the layout and there was plenty of room. We also enjoyed the privacy outside. Our dog loved the surrounding nature and the creek as well as being able to walk to the state park to play in the sand & water.

This place is absolutely the nicest VRBO experience we have had in Northern Michigan. The place is darling and so well equipped and furnished. All the details make such a difference. We loved staying here and will plan on this again!

It was a very nice relaxing time, and the house was immaculate! Sad it wasn’t a longer stay!

Hi, we're your hosts Lauren & Tom!

We're a married couple who shares a love for all things hosting, our two pups, and new adventures. After years of visiting our favorite place, we decided to move from Grand Rapids to Traverse City in the pursuit of happiness. Days were filled with working too many hours and spending too much time apart, so we packed up and began our new journey.

As a team, we started from managing one rental home to owning our own and could not be more grateful for the opportunity to share our love of hosting with our guests.

We believe that no matter whats going on in life, its important to take time away, recharge, find new adventures, and create fond memories. Our mission is to provide the best possible stay in hopes that you and your loved ones are able to experience all of this and more.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased this home after a long search, to find a unique space that embodies what we love so much about Northern Michigan. While still being in a great location, central to anything someone would want to do in the Traverse City area.

Nature is always one of the most important things we look for in a home, as we're definitely outdoors people. The balance of finding that with still being centrally located isn't easy. When we came across this cozy cottage, we just know that this was the one, nature in the city!

It truly represents Northern Michigan in any season, but you're still so close to anything else that you'd want to do. :)

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Mitchell Creek is absolutely what sold us on this home. It's amazing that you're next the State Park beach, the Tart Trail, and right in town. However the scenery reflects the secluded feel of Northern Michigan.

We stayed in the home for 6 months in the Fall of 2018 to the Spring of 2019 while we remodeled it. Watching the wildlife throughout the different seasons was unreal, we couldn't believe the variety of wildlife on the property, while still being in the city. From the Salmon running up the creek in the fall, to the Steelhead in the Spring, Mallard ducks mating, a northern mink fishing after a heavy rain, or the deer that would come almost right up to the window! It's a very special place, and you never know what you might see!
