We had a fantastic time in Point Breeze. The house is decorated beautifully and is well appointed, and is in a central location with fun restaurants and bars close by. Check-in was smooth and we enjoyed our stay!
Probably the nicest urban rental I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in many. Spacious, well appointed, lots of bathrooms, outdoor space, easy access, great roof deck, very responsive management. Highly recommended for a large group.
This house is spectacular! The use of space is wonderful, the bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderfully appointed, modern and clean.
The hosts were communicative, easy and informative.
We had a group of 10 both adults and teens and the place worked perfectly. The location is up and coming with nice coffee shops and eateries close by. Parking was not a problem in our experience with a 15-passenger van and big suburban.
I would recommend this location and the hosts to anyone enthusiastically!
We enjoyed are stay over all. Kitchen and dining worked for all our needs. The floors are extremely squeaky, my mom said they could hear every time we walked. Over all it was clean and worked for our group. Parking was a nightmare. We were always at least five blocks away from the home.
HUGE space with nice sized rooms and beautifully appointed. Had plenty of space for my extended family including several small kids. Nest thermostat on the main floor and by the master. Easy check in with a key code. Free street parking was generally easy to find, even with 4 different vehicles. Would definitely stay again. Only cons were mold in the dishwasher- needs to be deep cleaned and noise travels easily between floors. Loved the beautiful roof top view!
Fabulous location and great views from the roof top!
This was the perfect location for a group of college friends to explore Philadelphia. The kitchen and first floor space was perfect for gathering and the roof top with views of the Philly skyline was perfect for afternoon drinks. Ubers would be at the corner within 5 minutes or you could choose to walk to many locations. If anyone has trouble walking up stairs, this probably isn't the place for you. Otherwise, this is a fabulous place to call home while you are visiting Philly.
Enjoyed three days in Philadelphia. Roof top was a favorite place to unwind at the end of each day! Location was great, walked to some breakfast places, rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make dishes and ample seating for eating. Hosts were responsive to any inquiries.
Residential area with not much to do around but short drive from center city, house is very spacious, comfortable, modern, and very convenient for visiting families with kids.
I stayed here with 4 colleagues for a team retreat. We enjoyed the wonderful place. Beautifully designed, VERY clean, many small luxuries within, nice restaurants within walking distance. Wifi had recurring issues - so that was the only downside.
We booked the home for our party of 4 women after a busy conference, as a chance to relax and debrief. The neighborhood was nice, with coffee just a few blocks away. Our beds were comfortable, and the home was beautifully decorated. We could not get the garbage disposal to work so we called for help and a repairman was there within minutes! That night, we decided we wanted to watch a movie but the remote didn't work (I think it just needs new batteries).
A very well decorated and appointed home that worked well for our out of town wedding guests. The big kitchen was particularly appreciated and the master suite bed and shower were sumptuous. Host was easy to communicate with. The only issue we had was the wifi--it was too slow/unreliable, even after the host performed a reset. We had several people needing to work remotely so this was not ideal. Also the gas fireplace wa not operational/was only decorative. Otherwise would highly recommend.
The rooftop deck was amazing for hanging out! What a view of the city! Two of the nights there were fireworks in the area so we really enjoyed watching from up too! This property is so big - lots of bedroom and baths! And with the extra family room/tv room with a bed in the basement our teen boys had a place to hang out. Communication with owner was easy - very responsive. As noted by others, parking was available when we arrived during the daytime. We walked most of the time since it was summer and light into the evening hours. Not sure I would be as comfortable walking that much in the neighborhood if it were dark outside. Kitchen is well stocked - we cooked many of our meals in - nice to have the large kitchen table with more seating st the kitchen island. So much space for multiple families to stay.
Exactly as advertised! And even nicer than expected. A truly lovely spot for my son and new daughter in law and for some wedding guests from out of town. Would highly recommend this place.
We spent a short three days, exploring Philly and enjoying the weather. The house perfectly fit all five in our group, giving each of us plenty to space to hang out as a group and separately. Everything was a quick Uber drive, or short walk, away. I would definitely stay at this property again!
Les points faibles : Communication et emplacement
Nice Place, Difficult Host
I booked this house for myself and a group of friends from college for a quick getaway weekend in the city. The place was nice and really served the 8 of us well. We spent most of our time in the city and the house was a good spot to reconvene. The reason for my poor rating is primarily due to the host communication. Before our stay, I received 2-3 messages which outlined strict rules for our stay, including curfew hours, cameras at the door, and notices that the neighbors would call the police to report noise complaints. To be fair, we were offered a full refund no questions asked if this would be a problem for us. This ended up being a non-issue and we decided to move forward. My real issue here is that we left a Northface jacket in the main coat closet. I notified George and Carmen within 30 minutes of us leaving and we were told that the cleaning crew would check it out. Then two more days passed and we were told that there was another group in the house all week and no one could check for us (somehow the cleaning crew was not in there in between visitors). Now a week later weâre still awaiting a response. Nice enough place, but be very careful of your belongings.
A large and thoughtfully laid out property. We had a great time and everyone said that they were very comfortable during the stay. Save for a little wear and tear throughout the place, the property is well kept and has everything we needed.
The owners have some strict rules about noise at night (understandable), which despite not having any problems with, did make us feel a little bit uncomfortable about staying up late. There's a decibel meter in the kitchen and a camera on the roof deck which raised some eyebrows and we did not see disclosed on VRBO at the time.
This house was great for a holiday get together for my large family. 4 floors, 2 outdoor areas and and an open floor plan made it easy to be all together, but in our own spaces when we needed it. Street parking was easier than we thought it would be and it was an easy Uber / walk to restaurants in Center City.
This was such a beautiful house and perfect location for our reunion in Philadelphia. The modern contemporary design, the sun filled lit rooms, high ceilings and amount of space for our 12 person group was PERFECT! The renovations were awesome. The neighborhood was clearly deep into gentrification and parking was very difficult. So we left the cars and took uber every where. The property owners were very quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Check in was a breeze. The only downside was that the weather was too cold for us to enjoy the AMAZING roof deck. I'd love to see a TV in the living room as opposed to just the basement space. Otherwise, I definitely recommend this place and would return.
