We came to Glendale for a concert, this was the perfect spot for our stay! We had plenty of room, everything we needed was provided for us and our uber back & forth for the show wasnât too expensive. If we are back in Glendale we will definitely stay again!
The house and supplies were very nice and were just as promised. There were some pretty scary dogs in the neighborhood behind low fences that made walking our dog a bit tense. We enjoyed staying at the house and had great access to ballparks and hiking trails.
This was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequate. After we figured out that some of the water faucets were "backwards " it was fantastic
We stayed here for a weekend with our 2 dogs and we loved it. The dogs LOVED the backyard. It was everything we wanted in a place to stay. It was comfortable and felt like a home away from home. We will definitely try to stay here again when we go back to Phoenix!
We had such a cozy wonderful stay here, one of the first places I have ever had such pet friendly accommodations. My sweet apartment dogs had the absolute best time playing house and living it up in the back yard. We did not want to leave, we started to feel at home so we will definitely look to staying here again when visiting the area again. Not to mention the host Amanda was so prompt and attentive to our needs. Thanks a million!!
This property was very dirty. The furniture was dirty and nasty, the beds had dirty piss stained sheets. The floors was dirty the rugs on the floors where dirty. This property looked as if it had not been cleaned in a very long time.
We stayed here with our two teenage grandsons and our dogs. It was very comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. The backyard was very secure for our pets. The host responded quickly to all my inquiries. It was a quiet neighborhood to walk our dogs, and lots of restaurants and stores close by. The kitchen was well supplied, which was a bonus. Definitely would recommend this property.
This was our first time staying in a VRBO. The house had plenty of room for our family and dogs. The to do's and to don'ts were clearly labeled throughout the house. It was in close distance for our purpose in Glendale. Host was available and straightforward.
Access to this house is easy. It is well located to get to all the places we had to go while we were there. It has a nice, large open floor plan, which was essential to our purpose for renting (cleaning out a storage unit and reorganizing for donation/trash/keep). The tile work throughout the house is pretty. We added to the "library" while we were there. The back yard was nice and big for the dogs. They also loved the long hallway for chasing balls.
The only complaint would be the burrs in the backyard.
We stayed here with my in laws so that we could attend my husbands graduation. We also had our two small dogs traveling with us. The house is wonderful and the bedrooms were spacious and clean. The yard was perfect for letting our dogs run around in the mornings. There are a number of great restaurants within 10-15 minutes of the property so the location is great. We had zero issue contacting the host with any questions we had during our stay. I would definitely book this house again in the future
First the pros...the property features a large, fully fenced backyard, there's a lovely neighbor to the south, it's quiet at night, and there is absolutely no concern that a pet could harm the furniture (see cons). The bed was comfortable enough and I felt like the place was clean. I honestly cannot, however, understand how people gave it 10 out of 10. Now the consâŠShabby does not begin to explain the state of this home. Tiles falling off in the shower. Notes everywhere (e.g., telling you to replace the towel behind the washer if it leaks) or my favorite, a sharpie used to write directly on the tiles of the shower telling you which handles to use. Luke warm water at best. Nightstands (I use this term loosely) are plastic storage draws which are so warped that items placed on them roll to the center. The rest of the furniture is possibly worse hence the reason your pet can't hurt anything, it's already shot. Shocking since this could have been a lovely home. My college-aged daughter has better and she uses crates as shelves. Honestly such a shame. Oh, and while the back yard is huge, there are burrs that will leave you and your four legged pal limping. BUT, there's a note letting you know that might happen. If you're looking for bare bones and are willing to look past the really really rough edges, this is a perfect example of you get what you pay for.
Definitely a pet-friendly place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. House had everything we needed for our stay. location was close to shopping and restaurants. The neighborhood is older and acceptable for the price.
I did not like this rental house just because the pets smell was horrible, and you could see hair of cats every where.So.I decided to rent a hotel instead. I paid for nothing.
We bought this house because it had been sitting empty for 3 years due to a fire - open to the world and looking pretty sad. Great little neighborhood. Perfect spot for visiting the Phoenix area (& family) when we retire and for others when we're not there. Loved the challenge of putting it back together and making it fun and fabulous. Such a great vibe. So much to do close by and a perfect central spot for exploring the great area that is Phoenix!
Love the arched doorways and tile floors. Kept that "vintage" mid-century feel with the kitchen. Great big rear patio & backyard. Super comfy beds. And the colors just make me smile!
