Nouvelle liste... Disponible à partir de mai 2019. 4 chambres, 3 salles de bains. Maison de retraite avant de l'eau récemment rénovée d'une superficie de 4300 pieds carrés, assise sur plus de 2 acres pour votre plaisir.
Cette maison serait idéale pour les réunions de famille nombreuses ou nombreuses. (L’étage est accessible aux personnes handicapées) Les espaces communs sont surdimensionnés avec beaucoup d’espace pour s’étendre. La salle quatre saisons a des sièges confortables pour s'asseoir et déguster une tasse de café ou un verre de vin tout en profitant de la vue sur le lac et la montagne. La cuisine surdimensionnée est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer les repas. Coin salon / séjour confortable avec cheminée à bois. Salle de jeux avec table de billard, baby-foot, air hockey et télé grand écran avec jeux. Aussi un jouet pour les enfants et une aire de jeux. (Salle de théâtre à venir bientôt)
Le patio inférieur dispose d'un bain à remous et de nombreux sièges.
Grand quai stationnaire surdimensionné 16x28 et flotteur avec ascenseur à bateaux en coque en V (disponible sur demande)
Nous sommes situés dans une crique tranquille avec des eaux profondes. Parfait pour la baignade, la pêche et le kayak. 2 kayaks, bateau à aubes et tapis d'eau fournis avec gilets de sauvetage.
Gril à gaz et foyer près du patio inférieur avec grille pour la cuisson. (Bois fourni)
Cette maison a un lac magnifique et Mountain View. C’est à 3 minutes à peine de marcher dans une allée en pente douce ou de conduire votre véhicule à traction avant ou à traction intégrale jusqu’au parking près du quai.
Nous avons également 2 autres maisons au bord de l'eau dans la même communauté tranquille disponibles à la location pour des groupes plus importants ou des événements possibles (sur demande)

This worked out great!!

We had a wedding in Roanoke for a college friend so 16 of us stayed in the SML House and it was perfect!! Absolutely recommend for groups of friends or even families with young kids — so much to do for all ages!!

Wonderful experience!!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful family weekend with our adult children, their spouses, my brother and his long time girlfriend (family). There was enough space for us to hang out together but also to spread out and enjoy some quiet down time alone. The house is well equipped! We used the paddle board, hot tub, fire place, fire pit, and porch area. The guys played pool, watched movies in the cinema room, and tv in the living room. The table was large enough to seat all eight of us. If we had had children they would have been busy all day. The location is close to breweries, wineries, and some fun shops. This place had everything we could think of and more! When we needed more firewood, it was delivered! I can’t say enough. We created some wonderful memories during a very relaxed weekend!

Wonderful house for our family!!!

Perfect place for our family! Lots of space & things to do, especially on our rainy days. Love the kitchen, pantry, extra fridge, movie theatre room, pool table, laundry room, slot machine, hot tub, covered dock for our boat, outside play area, screened in porch, dining table for my family, and I’m sure I’m forgetting things!! Owners were great & answered all my questions quickly! Loved our week there!!!

Family Reunion

We all had a great time staying at this property. The power was out the day we checked in due to a storm and the Housdens were great. They had everything set up with lights and a generator for the Fridge. The WIFI was not restored for several days and they offered to provide us with a hotspot. The house is situated so that the families with the young babies and great grandma could stay on the main floor without being disturbed by those playing pool and hanging out downstairs. Nicely stocked with outdoor toys as well as a play area downstairs allowing the youngsters with plenty of freedom. Two of us adults actually slept outside in the screened in porch areas and it was fantastic. We enjoyed going down to the water to swim and fish. The only thing is that you do need to be able to walk up and down stairs to get to the water. Great Grandma and a few of the older members were not able to go to the water that way. We did rent a pontoon boat and were able to pick them up from the community boat ramp that is very close. We would definitely rent from the Housdens again.

Relaxing spot, lots to do!

Even though it was a chilly Spring, there was plenty to keep up busy! The four seasons room, basement set up with games and toys, and the movie theater room were really fun. We even got a bonfire going outside to do s'mores and took the paddle boat out for a quick jaunt on the lake. The walk down and back from the dock was a solid workout being so steep and long, but the views and experience at the house or the dock make it really relaxing once settled. Great for families and the communication from the owner was wonderful!

We loved our rental house for the weekend, it had so many rooms and tons of indoor/outdoor activities. Our group loved the big kitchen to cook our meals and the sunroom was perfect for morning coffee and had views of the water!

Family Fun at the Lake

For months our family, grandchildren included, eagerly anticipated our annual family vacation. This year it was at SML and it didn't disappoint!!! The property was very clean and well stocked even to liquid hand soaps at each sink! The house was spacious and well designed for community and private activities. Many amenities for children. There were a variety of games and the theater was such a treat! Our host was very receptive and prompt in communicating with us about any questions and requests. We had a GREAT time!!!

Winter cabin for my hubby's bday

Myself, my husband and 4 friends stayed at Stephanie's cabin for his bday in January. The cabin is beautiful and has so many things to do both inside and outside. We all enjoyed the theater room, game room and the fire pit. Im 6 months pregnant and couldn't enjoy the hot tub but it was a huge hit with our friends. Stephanie is very communicative and a great host.

Wonderful house!

This house had everything for kids and adults! The kitchen was well equipped. The game room and media room kept the kids occupied. There was wood for the fire pit. And the hot tub was great. We loved staying at this house! We highly recommend this place for big families!

Perfect home for families with little ones

We loved this house!! The house was huge, it had a great first floor with 4 bedrooms, living room, large kitchen, and a gorgeous sunroom. Then it had a massive second floor/basement that was fully furnished! It had a ton of kid toys, play kitchen, pool table, and media room. Perfect place for the kids to play while the adults were playing! The host was responsive and checkin/checkout details were thorough and easy! We hope to be back one day, maybe during the summer so we can fully enjoy the lake!

Perfect getaway

Everything was great! House was clean and fully stocked with essentials. We loved the amenities, in our time we took advantage of the fire pit, hot tub, screened porch and great outdoor amenities. We also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Host was great and responded immediately when we asked for an extra light bulb for the porch. We will be back for sure?

SML "The Gathering Place" is our family favorite

Our vacation stay at Smith Mountain Lake was absolutely one of the best ever! Our family which includes teenagers and adults enjoyed a week of relaxation, some fishing and lots of boating. We had a great host and staff that were very proactive in making sure our stay was great! They checked on us regularly and were really attentive to any needs. Great house, great staff, great time!

Wonderful Lake Getaway!

It was delightful to stay at the Goodview Lakehouse. Even though it rained for some of the trip our kids and their friends took kayaks, canoes, and splash pad out. We used the pool table and movie room happily during the wet evenings! The kitchen was fully stocked for dinners we got ingredients for at Food Lion about 25mins away. Great stay for four of us and our family friends with 2 adults/2 kids ;)

Very accommodating host

My friends and I rented this property for a long weekend- it was the first time we had all been together in almost ten years. Among the six couples, only two have children. We picked this house because of the abundant activities for kids and adults! Between the movie theater, billiards table, indoor play area for the kids, as well as ample living space, none of us were ever bored or crowded. We all traveled from various parts of the east coast and arrived at different times- the Host let us check in early!! The property manager was present when needed but not over bearing. He consistently provided firewood when asked as well as brought us a bag of ice on the first day. The hosts husband even came in quietly and unnoticed to help us figure out the sound in the theater room. The walk down to the dock is STEEP I highly recommend driving down in a truck instead of walking- and I highly recommend spending time down there- it’s beautiful! Because we visited in December, we chose to spend little time on the water- brrrr!! But would highly consider renting this property again in the summer to take advantage of its beautiful location and outdoor amenities. The area leading up to the house is a little messy and a few properties quite run down, but this property is beautifully taken care of and updated. The host provided sweet personal touches (including a decorated Christmas tree and cookies to all bake together). Oh! And don’t go right out of the driveway! My family ended up getting stick in our car trying to get back up this muddy steep hill we accidentally drove down 🤦🏻‍♀️ Once again, the host was more than accommodating, picked up her phone the second I called and immediately sent help! (We are still laughing about that experience). All in all 10/10! Great time, great fun, wonderful memories made.

great spot for a group getaway in the mountains

Our family group of 14 really loved the location and amenities of this home. It's very spacious and has lots of activities, inside and out, available. Our kids were never bored! All these strengths compensate well for a lack of attention to some details in the home. We had a wonderful time.

The Gathering Place is perfect for families!!!

We were traveling to the Gathering Place from Virginia Beach, Ohio and Northern Virginia and all arriving @ 1:00pm. I contacted Stephanie to see if we could get an earlier check-in time than the 4pm time. She was very timely in letting us know that we could check in at 1:00pm. She was very easy to reach by phone if we had questions. The house is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. The game room had a children's play area which my great nephews loved. We spent alot of time at the fire pit, so the property manager always made sure we had enough fire wood for the fire pit and the fire place in the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SML and will return for our family reunions! Thank you Stephanie for everything you have done for the Moore family!!

Perfect stay

We loved the house and the location on the lake. This house has everything you need for a large group and it's big enough that it never felt crowded. We also liked the dock area and just hanging out there in the evening. As I said it was a perfect stay.
