Location was great, the cove at the resort had great snorkeling. Priscilla was very attentive with communication. The kitchen is well equipped, condo was clean but we did see a few bugs on the kitchen counters. Be advised youâll need to take out the trash, strip beds and start laundry upon checking out. All in all it was a comfortable stay.
This was the perfect place for two nights in order to access North Shore hiking and attractions. Location could not have been better as we enjoyed the short walk to the Ritz Carlton for dinner and drinks both nights. The condo was just as described, impeccably clean and easy to access. Communication with the host Priscilla was excellent, as we were delayed for our check-in by about 90 minutes, but she was able to assist us getting into the gated parking and condo with no trouble. There are towels and chairs for trips to the beach, which we gladly used. Check-out was also a breeze, with easy to follow instructions. Will definitely suggest this property to family and friends.
We enjoyed our stay at the Turtle Bay condo. The home was clean and cozy, and the views from our patio and kitchen table were full of Hawaii, greenery, and wildlife. I would totally rent here again for future visits.
We enjoyed our family vacation at this Turtle Bay condo. The condo is a corner unit with screened porch that offers additional privacy in the backyard/fairway side and is equipped with beach chairs and beach wagon.
Priscilla was an excellent host. She was responsive to our questions. Thanks to Priscillaâs clear instructions, check-in/-out was seamless. Great place to vacation!
We really enjoyed our stay on the North Shore! We were thoroughly entertained by watching the surfers, exploring all the beaches and wandering through the quaint town of Haleiwa. Our late checkin was super easy and Priscilla was quick to reply whenever we had a question. The place was lovely, enjoyed the a/c in bedroom, the cross draft of the trade winds and handy parking right in front of place.
Everything about this property was awesome! Priscilla made it easy to book, check in, and so helpful with any questions we had! The space was very clean and comfortable. Having the use of beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and cart was priceless!! We enjoyed the closest pool and all the amenities at the resort as well. Make sure you donât miss the sunsets and sunrises within a half mile walk. We would highly recommend this property and canât wait to book our next stay!
Property location & unit were very beautiful.
Only issue, upstairs unit above us began playing loud music at 8 am and made chair movement noise until 10 pm. This made our lanai use not enjoyable.
My husband and I booked two nights on our way home to Boston after a stay in Australia to visit our daughters. I knew we would need a break between flights. I didnât know how amazing Oahu is. I am now re-planning my retirement (really!!). This condo is clean, stocked and beautiful. Its location is superb. And, most importantly, the north shore of Oahu is as close to heaven as I have experienced. Thank you for sharing all of it!!
We were leaving quite a nice hotel elsewhere, had had a wonderful time, and were a bit sad to go. But as soon as we walked into this unit we were happy once again and looking forward to our time on the North Shore. The condo had everything it needed (it truly is missing nothing) and it felt like home right away. Another highlight is the warm swimming pool. It made my daughter very happy to jump into a heated pool, as many are not. Would definitely book again.
It was a short but sweet stay. It was a nice stay over the weekend that offered a close proximity for my brother's wedding at Sunset Ranch. Pretty much your basic amenities and accommodations. The place could've have been a bit cleaner though as my wife pointed out our feet were black and dirty from walking around the condo barefoot. There were also no placements for bath essentials like a bar of soap or no holder for the toilet paper. I'm not too critical when rating but just these few things were a bit displeasing to me. The main thing is it offered a safe and decent place for my family over the weekend.
The 1 bed 1 bath property is on the lower level of an end unit facing a golf course that was immaculately manicured but not in use during our stay. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment to make meals. I prefer not to eat off acrylic plates and was relieved when I found four glass plates in the cupboard. The in unit washer, dryer and fridge are amply sized. The bed is very soft, I would suggest if you need a firm mattress this is not the rental for you. The pull out sofa bed takes muscle to setup but sleeps one person comfortably. The pool is nearby as are walking trails and the public access beach which was a great spot to watch surfers catching waves in the morning.
My family consisted of 2 adults & 2 teenage boys and we stayed for 5 nights. We found the space to be sufficient & comfortable. The bed in the bedroom had us worried for a moment as we usually sleep on firmer beds & the mattress here was soft, but we found it very comfortable & slept very well. The boys used both the sofa bed & inflatable bed & both reported them to be comfortable as well. Priscilla always responded quickly when we reached out to her, and we didn't have any problems during our stay. Nice to be in an end unit, lovely walks to the nearby trails & beaches. Minor suggestions, that did not negatively impact our stay, but might be useful for future guests: a laundry basket would make doing laundry easier, and there was only one boogie board, but 2 would have been preferred. On the plus side, there was a small cooler, wagon, beach chairs, and lots of goodies for use at the beach. We only used the boogie boards, but all that other stuff would be very useful for families spending days at the beach. All in all we had a very pleasant stay. We absolutely loved the North Shore & will be back next time we head to Oahu! :-)
Everything about this condo was as advertised. This property was very clean, well maintained and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was a Keurig machine, but a coffee maker would have been nice.
Overall we were very happy with this unit and would definitely stay here again.
Great property and close to walk to Turtle Bay Resort. Used the chairs and umbrella which were great. Bed was comfortable and the local pool was not busy and was refreshing.
We stayed at Turtle Bay for a wedding. This was a great lower level property. The kitchen included more things than we needed for our short stay. Recently renovated.
Our stay in this area was perfect. Although we didnât spend much time in the condo, it had everything we needed for comfort. It was quiet and convenient. We ventured all over the island but nothing is longer than an hour away.
My wife and I spent 10 days here for our honeymoon in late September ad early October. We had a great experience and we really enjoyed staying on the north shore. We would highly recommend this listing as a place to stay.
Cino was born on O'ahu and has been a surfboard shaper here for over 50 years. He has shaped surfboards for the top reputable companies like, HIC , Blue Hawaii, T&C and many world renowned surfers, including Kierin Perrow, former Pipline Masters winner and current World Surfing League Commissioner.
I moved to Hawaii in 1975 and graduated from University of Hawaii and have called the North Shore home since then. I recently retired form teaching after 30 years.
Cino and I bought our North Shore home in 1994. Since that time we have raised a blended family of 2 sons and 4 daughters. All who have been in and out of the home over the years. Since our sons are avid surfers, we have entertained visitors from all over the world coming to surf the North Shore waves! Our children are all grown and married with children of their own and living in various parts of the islands.
So now we find ourselves as "empty nesters". We thought of selling our home but we really love it and cherish all the memories we have shared here. This is why we decided on the home-sharing idea. Along with sharing our aloha and our home, we offer the local knowledge of living on the North Shore for over 40 years.
