Highland Ave

We had a great stay on highland ave. Fantastic location, close to the beach, lots of great books, puzzles etc for the kids to do. I found the main bedroom mattress to be pretty lumpy and uncomfortable, but otherwise the house was fantastic.

Great house and location

Very good house for our family of 5, plenty of space and great layout. We would stay again. The only thing we found slightly problematic was the fan right above the bunk bed steps in the kids bedroom - wouldn’t be a problem for older kids but we didn’t use the top bunk because of this with my 6 year old. It was a hot night so we needed the fan on.

Pleasant house in Cowes

This is a really nice property with plenty of room for a family. We would have liked to stay longer.Our only problem was that linen wasn’t included, and while in retrospect this was stated on the confirmatory email it was way down the bottom. It also wasn’t obvious on the booking listing. It was an unpleasant surprise to arrive late on a Friday and have no sheets or towels.

What a let down

We arrived at the property to find it FILTHY, the owner had not communicated to get the house cleaned and I we couldn’t believe what we found. We refused to stay and got a different place.

It is what it is.

Stay was just as advertised. Only hiccup was getting the keys, we were told in the instructions a code to a lock box would be sent on the day of the arrival. However when we got to the house we had still not received an email. We instead had to drive to the O’Brien office. Luckily we just made it within open business hours as I’m not sure how they would have been able to solve that.

Great big spacious house

We really enjoyed our stay. Great living spaces lots of couches, big dining table and comfy beds. Will be back to stay again.

Quality home

Fantastic home in Phillip Island. Close to Cowes but far enough away to be relaxing and quiet. Home is fantastic and well presented with a warm atmosphere. Thanks heaps

A lovely, clean home! Perfect for a Phillip Island Getaway

A clean property, with plenty of bedding, space, eatery areas etc. The property manager was great to deal with and quick to respond also. It is a bit of a walk to the main area in Cowes however there is a great fish and chip shop closeby. We would definitely recommend others to stay here :)

Perfect weekend away

Our weekend away was perfect thanks to the rental at Cowes. Home details were accurate, it was very clean, beds were comfortable, area was quiet & location was close to beach, cafes & shops. Would highly recommend.

Lovely stay, realestate agent needs to improve comms

This was a great location with large deck, very enjoyable. The owner is let down by the real estate agent who does not return calls and did not respond to an email regarding a faulty shower.

Between the cushions

We enjoyed our stay despite the fact that we found upon our arrival that the house had not been cleaned between guests. Floors not swept or vacuumed, Bathrooms filthy, left over old opened food in fridge. Toddlers found Contraceptive pills and a smoke vaporizer between the cushions of the couch. We left it much cleaner than we found it.

Great place for a quiet stay, away from traffic

We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and lovely verandah out the back. Due to the softness of the beds however, we wouldn't stay again, as it was rough on our backs. Other than that it was nice accommodation.
