Le Royal Kahana est un complexe hôtelier situé en bord de mer dans la baie de Kahana. A cette époque, nous avons accès au rivage et à la plage en face du Royal Kahana. L'accès au rivage et à la plage en face du complexe peut parfois être limité en raison des marées.

Le Royal Kahana possède une piscine chauffée avec des chaises longues tout autour et des chaises longues sur l'herbe devant le complexe, juste à côté du rivage pour bronzer ou admirer les magnifiques couchers de soleil. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser la table de ping-pong de la salle d’exercice. Nous avons également des barbecues sur la propriété pour votre usage. Dans le hall, un concierge vous permet de réserver vos activités sur l’île et de louer du matériel de plongée. Le Royal Kahana a la sécurité sur la propriété.

Breathtaking View!

The penthouse on the 12th floor was fantastic. The amazing unobstructed ocean view was gorgeous and we really enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a romantic getaway or celebrating a special occasion. Could hardly wait to rebook.

Amazing location and unit

Beautiful unit with all the needed amenities. Both couch bed and king bed were very comfortable. Remodeled and in an incredible location in the middle of everything! Quick Ubers everywhere with easy on site parking. Was able to see turtles from the balcony and sunsets every evening! Amy was very professional and easy to communicate with. Would love to stay here again!

From the minute we got there until the moment we left we must have said "WOW" a thousand times. The view off the lanai is just amazing! Saw turtles and windsurfers and amazing sunsets!! So clean and comfy. And all those notes someone complained about, we found very thoughtful and helpful! The place is decorated so lovely! Has everything you could need! Close to stuff, but quieter area then Lahaina. We highly recommend!!! Best trip ever!

Spent an amazing 4 days at this beautiful property. Equipped with all the necessities. Amy was a wonderful hostess & excellent communicator. Still plenty of whales to watch (even at the end of its season). Great restaurants to walk to. Take time to read the guest info book in the condo. Amy’s recommendations for places to visit was spot on! Would certainly stay here again… and would never want to leave! Did experience one minor plumbing issue during our stay which Danny, the handyman addressed in quick fashion (and on a Sunday). Mahola!

Beautiful Property

This ocean front property was as described in the listing with beautiful ocean views and amenities! Amy was a great host and responsive regarding questions. In addition to spending time at Royal Kahana’s pool deck with ocean views, we enjoy visiting the local beaches and would recommend making an online reservation for beach chairs with Auntie Snorkel. They are reasonably priced and have a convenient pickup location and hours at the Lahaina Gateway mall. If you’re reading reviews about this property, it means it is likely on your short list. Based on our experience, book it!

The view was spectacular and the condo was very nice.

We rented this property based on the view and proximity to the ocean and it did not disappoint. The check in was a problem as we were given the wrong access code by the property manager and it took some doing to get the correct one. A number of emails and phone calls. Everything went smoothly after that problem was solved.

Although the Guests were pleasant after a few days of their stay, we explained to them Many times that the VRBO has a glitch and breach. The escalation team at VRBO was working on this and VRBO somehow sent him an incorrect code. VRBO phoned VERN to offer assistance. VERN did not return their call and thus, he "insisted the host" caused the inconvenience and defaced our character in a VRBO message. As a host we provided him provide aloha with additional amenities as a courtesy. He still was satisfied. We are uncertain if he had an additional guest whom he did not tell the Host since he had a 3rd person sent us a message. I am sorry he was not completely satisfied. Perhaps he is better suited for a Luxury Chain Hotel which is 3 x the cost. I do our best to provide Aloha to all our guests and make them Happy.

Ocean views, whale watching from the lanai, and ocean breezes

We had a fantastic time at the condo. The location is easy to get to from the airport and the pictures (especially the view) are spot on. The condo is very clean and well appointed and the view is absolutely amazing. We left the windows open the entire time to enjoy the breeze and sounds of the ocean. The host was super helpful especially when we opted to extend our stay a couple of days before arriving. The pool and surrounding area is very nice. There are several very nice grills available as well. The beach leaves a bit to be desired, but we enjoyed it anyway. There are several beaches within just a few minutes drive. We ended up staying mostly on the property just to relax and shake off the Minnesota frost for our time there. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a small general store which makes being there really convenient. Lots of options for nice restaurants a short drive away (Dukes is our favorite). All in all a great condo to spend a very relaxing vacation at.

I am sorry you did not walk to the beach 500 yds to the left as per the welcome booklet. It is a 5 STAR Beach with a fantastic sandy shore and view. I do not know where you were trying to lounge. " S Turns " is one of the world class beaches on island. I apologize you did not ask the concierge, contact us or read the instruction booklet. I am still glad you had a fantastic time and enjoyed the condo. You were great guests.

Nice view, but a bit dated and dirty..

The owner manager emailed us the check in process very late. So when we went to search for her instructions about check info, all we saw was a lengthy email on Rules. Rules about shoes, rules about the stove top, rules about the lock, rules about sand in the condo, rules about the towels, etc. Additionally, the condo lacked basic cooking items. There were no beach chairs, or umbrella. Again, Nice view out on the balcony, but dated condo.

I am deeply concerned about Catherine's Review. I have 40+ 5 STAR REVIEWS and for some reason, we apparently did not make this guest happy. To respond: 1. Our listing clearly states upon booking, arrival details will be sent the day before check in. 2. The Welcome letter is standard and sent to all guests. It tells about the Resort Rules. On our beautiful island, we do not wear shoes inside. I am sorry the guest does not like this Hawaiian tradition . We also ask that the guest be careful not to put Sand Down the drains as no one wants to have a plumber during their holiday. 3. The condo is fully equipped with all pots and pans and matching dishes and updated linens. I personally check regularly to make sure all is in perfect condition. If the guest was unable to find a kitchen item, I state that we request guests to get in touch with me before departure. 4. We supply 4 towels, Catherine wanted More and we came by within 1 hour and gave her more beach towels, which actually she ruined and stained, but we did not charge her. 5. Catherine asked for Restaurant advice, we gave her many suggestions. 6. We do no supply Beach toys and rentals. This is done through the Concierge. This is clearly stated on the information packet. Catherine wanted us to purchase Beach toys for her, but this is not our position for safety and security. There are beach lounges around the pool area with the amazing barbeque. 7. We clearly state: Notes are placed to assist you with your stay and in no way meant to disturb you. If you need anything, please contact us prior to your departure so that we may assist you. 8. The condo was newly furnished with new bed and mattress, magnificent Bathroom , stainless appliances, contemporary laminate flooring and new furnishings. I have no idea what she means by "dated". To be 100% transparent, I believe Catherine may be best suited to stay at a Ritz or Grand Wailea at $1000 a night. She apparently did not want to go to that expense.

Everything was clean and in order. The bed was comfy and the view was awesome. Loved the lamp on the Lanai so you could be out there before sunrise or after sunset. Amy provided every detail to get going on arrival and was very responsive. Amy checked in on us on arrival and on departure.

Perfect getaway

We stayed for the Thanksgiving week. Life has been very hectic this year and all we wanted was to relax. We spent the first 3 days at the Condo without leaving and had everything we needed. The location was great and near a lot of activities but we chose to spend our week just sitting on the Lanai and looked at the ocean, watched turtles swim and lots of wind surfers. It was very windy and that seemed to have everyone with a surfboard of any kind right in front of our unit. We brought binoculars and we used they everyday. If you have some bring them. If not, maybe invest in a pair. We will most definitely be back again. Thanks Amy for a great job making sure that everything was perfect.

Excellent second Honeymoon!!!

We planned our second honeymoon for our 30th wedding anniversary. The condo was perfect. It was clean and Amy was extremely helpful with little notes to help. The complex concierge helped plan our day trips. The location was great. Just far enough out to be quiet and relaxing. Also, close enough to hit the restaurants, shops, and night life. Excellent stay and great value!!!

Wonderful place for our honeymoon!

We came here for our honeymoon and couldn't have had a better time. The condo was clean and beautiful and the view was absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed the location, it was a bit more laid back then some of the other beaches that are close by but still walkable to a coffee shop, restaurants, etc. We would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Condo was amazing for our honeymoon

We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon, and it was perfect for us. The condo is in a great location for walking and exploring around the island, we rented a car and were able to do a bit of both while we stayed there. We did have to pay for parking at the condo (only 10$/day), however, it was the only time we did have to pay for parking the whole time we were in Maui. The condo was in great condition, very clean and with lots of instructions on how to properly care for the condo while we stayed there. You can tell she truly wants her guests to have a nice stay there, she even left a few laundry detergent and dish washer pods for use while staying there. The bed was awesome, the tvs worked great, and the views were AMAZING. She tells you that you can enjoy beautiful sunsets right from your lanai porch, and she was right, we definitely even saw sea turtles out there with a great beach right in front of the condo. The kitchen was also perfect for us to make meals in, we even went to the local Maui Fish Market on our last night and made fresh ahi tuna and shrimp! Would definitely recommend this property to stay in, it was wonderful and just what we wanted!

We had a wonderful time staying in the beautiful beach front Condo.

Every morning we ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean watching turtles swimming by. We watched sunrise and sunset every day from our balcony. Can you open the windows and the sliding glass door every night so we could hear away

Amazing View

This was an older complex but really well maintained. Pool area had a magnificent view of the ocean so if you aren’t a beach person you get the best of both. The condo was very clean and offered everything you need if you wanted to cook. The view from our condo was breathtaking. The view alone is a five star.

Beauutiful

You really can watch the sea turtles from the deck! The views are beautiful. Could have just stayed in the condo enjoying the sights, sounds and breeze from the ocean for the whole trip.

Farmers Market Saturday in Honokawai a short walk away.

No personal items left on your outdoor oceanfront lanai.
Do Not hang clothes on the balcony or the Association places a $250 fee to the guest. No cooking on Lanai.

- No drugs, no smoking, no parties in the unit or on the Lanai, no pets
- No shoes in the condo as Hawaiian tradition with aloha
- No guest under the age of 26 without host agreement.

Adult only unit. If a guest is permitted by host to bring anyone under the age of 18 , eighty five dollar additional charge per child will be accessed for cleaning fee paid by guest before arrival.
Additional cleaning fees apply if condo is not in original condition.
Not responsible for personal items left in condo.

towels, linens and cookware must be returned and accounted for in clean useable condition.
Pick up Parking pass at Security Desk in Lobby. Parking on site Daily rate is ten dollars. Please park in the Upper lot only or vehicle may be towed.

$25 per towel, sheet or blanket if not returned or needs replacement due to excessive damage.
No sand in unit or down the drain or in the washer/dryer. Clogs in pipes are caused by sand. Two hundred fifty charge+ for plumber visit charged if needed.

Security deposit is held by Airbnb and returned upon departure if all is in good condition. All garbage and recycle must be thrown away. Additional fee charged for cleaning by maid service. Maid does not do dishes or an additional $75 will be charged for doing this service.
