L'unité Edgewater West numéro 95, située au 1007 West Beach Boulevard, est une grande unité de trois chambres et trois salles de bains pouvant accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 8 personnes. Great location and convenient
Large and room, great location . Condo could use some updating and the pool was closed the entire stay so my elderly parents couldn’t enjoy it. Other than that we enjoyed.

PERFECT "BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS" GETAWAY
Having 3 bathrooms was the best feature of all! The property location was excellent. Some things about the condo need to be updated but it's nice and BIG. Very different from some of the newer condos with tiny bedrooms. Kitchen very well supplied. Plenty of pots, pans, silver ware, etc.

Very roomy condo
Great stay at Edgewater West 95! Loved that all eight of us had plenty of room. We really enjoyed the sun room as opposed to an open air balcony. It was different but very nice!
The only thing I would recommend is that the toilets need to be updated. Sometimes they had a little trouble flushing them. Other than that, I would highly recommend this condo!

Condo has a great location. Upgrades need. Disappointed there was only one tv, had a 6 year old who wanted to view his showes and a husband that eanted to watch sports at night. Condo needs a lot of tlc, over priced due to upgrades needed

Very satisfied with stay. Will definitely stay again. The blender died and we had to buy a new one and we ran out of toilet paper very fast with non stocked there. At 250+ a night, I’d like to have some TP. And the pool was not useable after the storm. However, overall was a fabulous stay and I didn’t want to leave!

Location is awesome!
The views from this condo are perfect! You are within steps of the beach. We loved the glassed in patio. The windows open so you can hear the ocean, but you do not have to go outside or deal with a balcony to experience the views. This was a plus since we have a small child.
The condo does need some updating, but it was comfortable for 6 people. If you stay here, you will need to bring your own paper products and cleaners. Two trash bags, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and one round of dishwashing detergent was not enough for 5 nights. You are required to wash and put away dishes used so bring paper tableware or more dishwasher soap.

Thank you for your review. Guests with small children almost always like the glass enclosed balcony setting. It gives you the option of a sun room effect or by opening the windows an open air effect. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance of your stay.

The accommodations were below standard. The bathrooms had black mold. The curtains had black mold spots close to the floor. The beds were very uncomfortable! The internet did not work. I spoke to the manager and she just gives me a runaround. She very condescending during our conversation. I will never use Bender again!

Needed to be adaptable
So, as we were approaching Gulf Shores, we were informed that the elevator at Edgewater West was not operating and since we were on the 9th floor we could accept a switch to a smaller unit at lower cost in Sandpiper. We agreed. Bender staff were polite, attentive and efficient throughout our stay. The main purpose of our stay was to assist our 19 yr old granddaughter with her recuperation following hand surgery. We accomplished that. Unexpectedly to us, the National Shrimp Festival was on during our stay. That provided some good entertainment but also meant travel in Gulf Shores was somewhat disrupted. The weather was colder than usual and the Gulf was quite roiled for a couple of days. We ate well, played games, watched TV, got some beach/pool time and enjoyed the time with our family. Definitely a successful trip. No complaints about the unit we switched into.

We were very disappointed with our trip. It was our first family trip, and we were disappointed with our experience. Our unit’s air conditioning unit was out when we arrived. We connected the bender realty office, and they contacted the repair man. Then the repair man came, he left to go get parts and never returned that night. Then, the next day we informed the office, he finally returned and he temporarily fixed the air. The air unit went out again the afternoon, so spent three-quarters of our trip with no air conditioning.

I liked Edgewater West and would stay at this complex again. The location is great. Bender Realty was great and I would use them again. Everyone at Bender was very nice and easy to work with. But I will not stay in unit 95 again. The unit is poorly equipped for cooking. Pots and pans are in disgusting condition. The furniture is extremely worn and uncomfortable. The washer and dryer are newer and worked well. The biggest problem I had with the unit was how dirty it was upon check in. The cleaning crew did the bare minimum. The bed in the back bedroom had been made neatly but was full of hair and sand. There is no way the sheets had been washed. The other beds were fine. The whole condo was full of hair and dirt. Hairs sticking to the walls in the bathrooms as well as the furniture. Every corner of this unit had a collection of hair, dust, and sand. The sun room was a nice area to sit but had an ant problem. The ant's seemed to only be in the sun room. The online photo's make this place look much better than it actually is.

Not happy at all
When we first checked in, the condo was not ready. It said we could check in between 3-5pm but it was not ready. When I booked the condo I told that we would have 8 adults and 3 vehichles. They told me I only had 2 parking spots but would need to buy another spot and then park way across the street from the condo. That was very frustrating. Once we got in there the condo overall was very outdated and lots of older appliances, holes in the ceilings etc. When we all went to take a shower to get ready for dinner the hot water did not last long at all. When you pay that much for a condo that sleeps 8, you expect to have hot water for everyone to get dressed. It for sure should be an endless water heater. I loved that it was on the water but other than that, we were very disappointed. I haven't taken a vacation with my family in 7 years so I wanted everyone to have a great time and enjoy themselves and it took so long to get ready that some of us had to leave others behind so they could wait on the water to heat back up. Water pressure was awful as well if others were taking showers or if we were washing clothes. Overall very disappointed.

We were happy to have checked you in at 3:19 pm, well within the hours of 3 and 5. The allowance of only two vehicles is common on the beach where space is at a premium. We are thankful to have an office within walking distance in which our guests can park an extra vehicle.
This condo in which you stayed is in an older building and is in need of updating, and the owner is working on those updates now. We have many condos in our program, and the pictures on our website can be helpful in making a decision as to which condo would best suit one's family. We welcome the opportunity to assist you in booking your next beach vacation.

The condo was clean and nice with a perfect view. The screened in balcony was very nice but different. The only negative was the elevator didn't work all the time. We had to walk up and down 9 floors at least 5 times over the five days. My mother, 83, was not able to get out of the room one day because of the elevator not working. The rooms on the 6th floor, either had to walk up to the 7th or down to the 5th, because the elevator could not stop on the 6th floor. All in all, very good experience but fix the elevator. We would stay here again if we knew that the elevator would work.

I always rented a unit in Edgewater West because I had wheelchair access to the beach. This year was not the case. I have a granddaughter that is paralized, and she loves the beach. I rent a beach wheelchair from Ike's and have been for years so she could enjoy the beach. This year we could not access the beach. Who do I complain to regarding Edgewater West not providing handicapped accessibility to the beach?

Short stay with teenage athletes
Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Had a small group of high-school athletes, so being on the beach was nice, but it was also within walking distance of a few places to eat and the Hangout. Would definitely recommend for a family. Was originally concerned about the lack of a balcony, but the widows opened and it was better than expected. Bender Realty was great to work with and the representatives were always prompt, polite, and helpful. Will try to use them in the future for personal, as well as group trips.

The condo could use a little updating, however it was clean & neat. It fit all our needs. We did have a water leak issue (from the condo above) that caused the need to adjust rooms a little. But Bender Reality handled the problem and we were able to enjoy our time to the end. Overall, we'll be back!

A few mishaps...need updates

Overall we were pleased with the condo because it is in a great location, right on the beach and within walking distances of good restaurants and such. A few minor mishaps with the cleanliness and some updates needed throughout. Bender Realty did apologize for the issues;however, don’t expect any refunds or discounts for anything not up to par. They don’t even offer it.

We're glad that you enjoyed yourself in Edgewater West 95; it truly is in a terrific location and has a wonderful view of the Gulf. The housekeeping issue you mentioned was taken care of. We regret the guest bedroom TV was not in working order, but we felt confident that the other TVs in the condo would accommodate your group.

Beach Trip 2021
The property was not cleaned very well upon arrival but the host was extremely nice and accommodating. We were refunded for our cleaning fee and had a great time on our trip. Thankfully the host was very professional and easy to deal with, it made the inconvenience a lot easier to deal with at the beginning of the trip. All in all, the property was nice and in a great location. We had a great family vacation.

Apartment and property both need extreme maintenance
Ceilings were chipping off and found tons of old food and trash in and under sofas and beds. It rained and flooded the property and little to nothing was done for over 2 days had to climb 9 flights of stairs with someone awaiting knee surgery and myself in a high risk pregnancy. Property has a history of flooding and water rose over night and burned two spark plugs up and totaled 2 cars we know of for sure that were also guest at the property. Bender realty was amazing in responding to us but the property management company for the entire property was horrific and did nothing to help ! Will not be back but will book with bender realty at a different property.

Old condo with lot of wear and tear

This property we rented had lot of wear and tear on furniture and the bathroom had broken shower handle and the curtain was keep on falling. I would have hoped that the property was maintained for the cost that being charged per night PLUS the extra cost we pay for additional charges when we book. I will not suggest this property to any one.

Edgewater West 95 accommodates eight guests nicely, with its king bed, queen, two twin beds, and sleeper sofa. The beach front view from the enclose balcony is fabulous!
