This is our 4th time at Ted’s place and it’s always great! Perfect mountain house with everything you need close to Woodstock. Tons of toys for kids and cozy sitting areas to chat. Huge soaking tub and comfy beds. We’ll be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay in Saugerties—the host was welcoming and responsive, and the house was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully styled. The charming town and surrounding areas made it the perfect home base for a relaxing and memorable ski week.

We has a wonderful time and can't wait to go back.The only recommendation is to label a few of the light switches for some rooms like in the hallway. For example the red light at top of the stairs. We were afraid to touch it. LOL

House was perfect. We enjoyed our stay so much. The area was full of things to do and see. The beds were so comfortable and the other amenities were great. Our hosts left us with valuable information on places to go and things to do in the area. We had a blast!

Exceptional Stay!

My wife, me, and 2 boys (6/8) stayed 5 nights as a base to go skiing. Property was exceptionally maintained and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. Highly recommended!

Hidden in the Hudson Valley

Great house hidden in the woods. 3 bedrooms each on a different floor provides lots of privacy for a group of friends.

Despite rain almost the entire week, we had a fun family gathering. We enjoyed the A frame and the convenient access to lots of activities nearby.

Perfect weekend Getaway

As two couples staying over for a weekend, we really enjoyed this house. It had ample space for us to play board games, all enjoy our own bathrooms, and generally be in each others company without being in top of one another. Really happy with this house!

Fun getaway!

Long time friends on our yearly “girls” trip. We enjoyed this nicely appointed and pretty home in a wooded neighborhood. Three levels each with a bedroom and sitting area allow for privacy as well. Saugerties and Woodstock close by with shops and restaurants.

This is our third time at Ted’s place and it’s as wonderful as we remember. The perfect well appointed, comfortable mountain house. Our kids love the area with the toys and the huge bathtub. We love the cozy beds, modern decor, view of the fall foliage, and location close to Woodstock and Saugerties. We also very much appreciate how accommodating they were to our family. See you next year!

We had an awesome stay at the A frame chalet. We liked it from the moment we walked in. The decor was beautiful and the house was spotless. It had all the essentials we needed for our group. The location was perfect making it easy to get to Woodstock and Kingston in a short amount of time for more exploring. Communication with the owner was quick and easy and the welcome guide was extremely helpful. We had a lovely and relaxing weekend.

BOOK THIS NOW! Simply amazing.

The photos are exactly was the place is! Everything is well crafted in the home, the rooms and spaces in the house was perfect! A group of 4 of us enjoyed a mini winter getaway and we loved everything the house had to offer. We enjoyed using the kitchen, sitting in the living room, and using the bedrooms. We loved that each level had its own bathroom too! The house was easy to find off of the main road and although we had internet and cell coverage, we found ourselves chatting with each other and staying off our phone. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and loved that trails are close by!

This was our second stay and again we very much enjoyed it. Very comfortable and secluded. Great for kids- tons of toys and baby supplies. Hope to be back next year!

Amazing Birthday Weekend

Booked this home for a family birthday. It's three levels are great for groups with a beds and bathroom on each floor everyone was able to have their own space. The home come furnished with some amazing surprises a wonderful library and a collection of toys and games for all ages, with a number of toys for kids on site. The location was perfect for spending the day hiking, or exploring Woodstock and Saugerties. Home was clean, beds were comfortable, and the patio was amazing. Didn't get to use the firepit - but the hammock was a big hit.

Motorcycle Getaway

Four of us toured this area by motorcycle. The house was great, and the hosts were even better. At first I was a little concerned about the gravel parking area however it was absolutely perfect and safe for the bikes . The location of the house was also perfect for our day trips and is also very well appointed with linens, towels, a grill and sorts of kitchen accessories. The beds were comfortable as well. We did need to contact the owner during our visit and they were very responsive. I would absolutely rent this house again.

Beautiful Home

We just got back from our stay- loved the home and would rent again in a heartbeat. Very cozy and nicely decorated in a beautiful woodland setting. Our son loved the toys and the tiny bed, Mom loved the huge soaking tub. Nice and clean. Everything was great!

Relaxing and comfortable getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. There was enough space for us to separate if we wanted to but also areas where we could hang together. It was perfect for our family of four. The beds and seating area were very comfortable. The house is centrally located for exploring saugerties, Woodstock, and other nearby areas but secluded enough to feel like a getaway. The house was clean, well appointed, and the layout was great.
