Simonton 5 chambres 2. 5 salles de bain maison de vacances

Le Simonton est notre plus grande maison de vacances avec cinq chambres et deux salles de bain et demie pouvant accueillir 18 personnes. Il comprend trois lits queen-size, deux lits superposés et deux canapés-lits queen-size avec télévisions à écran plat dans chaque chambre. Profitez du café du matin sur deux charmantes porches tout en profitant de la brise de l'océan. À l'intérieur, vous adorerez cuisiner dans la grande cuisine ouverte avec dosseret en marbre, comptoirs en granit noir, appareils en acier inoxydable et tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. La salle de bain principale comprend une douche en marbre et une double vasque. À l’étage, la salle de bain comprend un combo de douche en marbre et une seconde salle de bain Jack & Jill. Les dispositifs additionnels incluent laveuse et sécheuse, vestiaire, cheminée, planchers de bois franc d'origine et Internet sans fil gratuit.

Situé sur 34th Street, dans le quartier de Virginia Beach, au bord de l’océan, nous sommes à trois minutes à pied de la plage, des ��piceries, des restaurants, des lieux de divertissement et bien plus encore.

L’esprit et l’objectif du développement de cette communauté étaient d’offrir un cadre confortable sur le th����me de la plage tropicale, avec une attention particulière portée aux détails et offrant le nec plus ultra en mati��re de location de vacances de luxe. Avec 17 maisons disponibles, chacune d’elles a été entièrement rénovée pour rendre votre séjour accueillant et agréable. Nous fournissons les draps et les serviettes pour votre visite.

It was the perfect size and location. We enjoyed being ai close to the beach and boardwalk. The kitchen was sufficient, but a full set of pots and pans would be helpful. It wasnt an issue because we onlu stayed 3 days. If we had been there all week we would definitely need more

Excellent location. House was clean and the AC worked great during a very warm week. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor grill area. Host was very prompt and helpful with a dead battery on the front door lock and a small wasps nest by the stairs - both taken care of right away! Would stay again!

We didn’t receive the arrival information and I had to request it on the way, hoping we would actually receive it. We arrived late at night and no outside lights work. Pictures don’t match some of the conditions. There is rotting interior plywood covering half of the front porch. There was a large dead cockroach in the second floor bathroom and multiple other smaller dead cockroaches. The living room ceiling light and second floor ceiling light are extremely dim and not working compared to the others. Both sets of bunk beds were very shaky and probably need tightened. The house is advertised for 18 but 6 of those would be on pull out couches. You can’t use all of them because of the space. The sheets on them were dirty and there was no bedding or pillows for them. The exterior doors are extremely old and not very secure. It felt like someone could easily break in. You couldn’t lock them without manipulating the door to line things up. There were also gaps in the front door and second floor porch door that let cold air blow in. The heat on the second floor worked well but the first was very cold. The windows are all painted shut which is a safety issue in case of a fire or enjoying a nice breeze during the spring or summer.

the house was clean and very walkable to the beach and places to eat. Upon arrival most of the TVs did not work and there were only five towels in the house for our party. Trying to contact the owner prior to arrival for checkin info and during our visit to have our issues addressed was hit and miss. The TV in the main room was addressed, but continued to required some manipulation on our part. The kitchen was barely adequately stocked and would not have sufficed if we had a full complement of 15 people.

Review

The biggest problem is parking. For the price of this house you would expect reserve parking. If you are lucky enough to get a parking space in front of the house, or anywhere near it, jump on it and never move your car. Day trippers to the beach, hotel workers, and contruction workers grab all the available free parking in front of the house and you are stuck paying for parking or parking blocks away. Very disappointing.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house. The front door is severely warped so neither the queens lock nor the deadbolt can close. There is construction across the street. The construction company claimed both sides of the road so we had nowhere to park. We had an unpleasant interaction with the construction crew when we dated Park in front of our rental. There was a coordination issue where the next tenants asked to check in early and we're told it was okay. We were ask asleep at 1130 when the next tenants wakes in asking why we were there (door wouldn't lock). That could have ended badly. There's too few towels and the cookware needs to be replaced. Other than that, great living room, comfortable beds, and excellent location.

Great location but less than impressive house

This house is a GREAT location - walking distance to boardwalk and having a community pool close by was great! I never received a check in process email. When I called, they weren’t sure why that happened but did send it at that point. We returned from the beach the first day there to find the upstairs temp to be 82 degrees. The AC was not working. The rental company was very responsive initially and came to try to fix it by placing a large AC portable unit in the downstairs area but this did not resolve the issue. It remained > 80 degrees upstairs for the rest of the trip (which is where the majority of bedrooms are located). I was told they would call a maintenance worker but that never occurred while we were there. It was 90s outside and very humid so this was difficult to endure. The windows are all painted shut so we couldn’t even cool off in the evenings with a cool ocean breeze. The kitchen is a great size but there were only 2 sauce pans and no skillets or other pans to cook with. The dishwasher was full and dirty when we arrived. We attempted to run it multiple times but that too wasn’t working. We hand washed dishes the rest of the weekend. We are usually a pretty go with the flow group but it was difficult and frustrating to deal with the AC issues, poorly supplied kitchen and broken dishwasher. No refund has been offered and no additional contact was made to try to rectify the issues. With the price we paid for this rental I expected much more!

There are no designated parking spots for this property. We're a family of 18 coming in from 3 different states with 5 vehicles. Beach goers drive up and down the street all day looking for free parking. This made loading and unloading challenging. The house was well equipped but really set up for 14 instead of 18 people.The most impressive thing about this property is manager John. He was extremely accommodating and accessible even over the weekend.

older house with repairs on going, porch has rotting wood and not suitable use by a large group, kitchen floor uneven with rough spots and holes not safe for being barefoot. no closets, suggest hooks on back of doors to allow hanging of clothes , not informed that swimming pool was locked and not provided a key so pool was not available all the time we wanted to use it, gas grill was non operational. water pressure in showers fluctuated greatly. nothing show stopping and the overall experience was quite good. very please with the location, accessibility to beach and parking was sufficeint

This house is not appropriate for 18 people. Should be listed for a group of at most 10. The yard is completely unkept. No chairs or tables or anything resembling an outdoor area. The ‘grill’ is literally as big as the one my kids had as part of their play kitchen. There is no dining room table. There are 8 stools around an island. Uncomfortable stools. NONE of the windows open. Don’t touch the blinds to try- they are SCUM-MEEE. A member of our group got stuck in the upstairs bathroom because the door knob didn’t work. The door to the toilet in that bathroom falls off the track when trying to close for privacy. The front door swelled so bad from the humidity it became difficult to open and close. The downstairs toilet overflowed. Dont try to wash dishes, clothes, shower, or brush teeth at remotely the same time. Apparently there’s only so much water in the house. When we called for assistance, the office was responsive - they brought us extra chairs for outside - 3 - that were filthy but we appreciated the effort. Also were quick at getting us a mop after the overflow. The decking is atrocious and rotting and quite frankly a danger to anyone wearing shoes or just not looking where they are going. Bring a cutting board and some sharp knives. Oh, and the wi-fi doesn’t work. If you plan on cooking or grilling - for 18 - there’s no 2nd rack in the oven so you can only cook one tray of food at a time. The interior was clean. Obviously recently renovated. Cool light fixtures. Enough silverware and utensils. Fridge was standard size and also clean. Beds were made. Lots of restaurants nearby. About a blocks walk to the beach. A plane goes over head every 15-20 minutes which is either awesome or annoying depending on your vibe. There’s a 7-11 within walking distance. The ice machine worked which was very exciting. The back space area was not occupied by other people at the time so we were able to use the communal fire pit but again, the grounds themselves are unkept so not an inviting environment. If you want to be close-ish to the beach, have a party of 10 or less, and just need somewhere to sleep, this is the place for you.

This houses are full of Roches', you guys should not rent to any one

Only good thing about this propert is good location near the beach. everything else is not for any Human. from day one and within one our we found Roches everywhere. Manager do not return phone call just like all other review.in past. .do not rent to any Human being. you guys as spcialy Vrbo charge so much fees and renting this kind of Junk Houses to ppeoples .i will make sure the peoples who i knows never book house from you.

Questionable Beach House

Let's get the good out of the way. The location of this property is stellar. Great positioning relative to the beach, quiet street, good access to restaurants and the grocery store. The roof didn't leak, the electricity stayed on, the plumbing worked throughout the trip, and I reckon the beds were in pretty decent shape. That's about all the good I can say. I thought about taking pictures of all the problems we saw, but I worried my phone would run out of storage. I'll list just a few to give a sample, maybe in the order in which we encountered them? * There is a yawning gap at least 1/2" wide underneath the front door, under which any manner of critter can and does crawl through. * The air conditioning was not working when we arrived. Lest you think this is a one-off occasion, another review also reported this same problem. Fortunately, we visited late in the beach season, so the weather was cool on all but the first day. * The floor had not been mopped when we arrived -- there was a bit of sand everywhere. * The apartment is advertised as having a grill, and I guess technically it does, but it's a dinky little $50 charcoal thingamajig that is so cheap it doesn't get stolen even though the leave it unlocked in the front yard. * Many of the doors in the house do not close completely, including the various bathroom doors. The bathrooms generally don't have locks. * There is an inexplicable lack of a dining room table, despite the fact that a place for one exists. Instead, there is a coffee table and a second couch sitting area. * The stools and bar in the kitchen are not sufficiently deep for an adult to comfortably sit at and eat. * The kitchen is just about the worst equipped kitchen that you could have while still calling it "equipped." The knives are dull, the pots are the cheapest of the cheap (everything sticks to them), no nonstick pans are available for eggs, and the variety and amoung of utensils are entirely insufficient. * The plaster/drywall throughout the house is scuffed and in some cases damaged or even entirely punctured. * The windows have no screens, so despite the fact the house is designed for a pleasant cross breeze, you can't leave the windoows open. * Parts of the front deck near the edges are rotten and falling apart. * The shower pressure could be generously described as a trickle. * There is a gas grill in a shared space out back, but the gas doesn't appear to be turned on or the grill was otherwi

The first night the air condition went out and there Cockroaches on the front outside and inside of the house. The next day someone came and sprayed outside for the roaches but not inside because we had started breakfast. I asked about the air condition and was told it was upstairs. My nephew and I trying tuning it down from 80 degrees. Everytime we turned it down it went right back up. I called, text, left voice messages to get the air conditioner fixed. No one called me back for the air condition. The next three days that we were there NO AIR CONDITION. The outside was not clean there was brushed on the side of the house. The front porch has holes in it. The cushions in the chairs were dirty. The worse vacation I have ever had. I have rented houses before but have never had an experience like this. I will not rent a house again. It is interesting that when I had to send my money I would get leave a message and get a call right back. The house needs to be updated. I would not recommed it.

Vacation

I loved my stay. The only thing that I suggest is that some of the doors need new doorknobs. Other than the doors the house was gorgeous. It was so close to the beach.

OK Stay

The property is as appears and the check-in process was easy. We appreciated the location and ease of getting to and from the beach. The kitchen has no pulls on any of the cabinetry which made things a bit complicated. On the third night of our stay at the end of June, the air conditioner went out. We had two pregnant women in our group and it was extremely uncomfortable. The property manager responded with "I wish you let us know sooner" when contacted, but we couldn't have let them know sooner seeing as we were at the beach and arrived home to find the AC out and the house at 82 degrees - which prompted us reaching out to the owners... In addition, we found 2 massive cockroaches. Pretty gross. Again, when we reached out about this asking, "What can you do to fix this situation?" there was no response as it was the day we were set to check out and leave...

December Beach Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in a nice location and in most ways quite nice. The pictures are accurate but hid a few flaws / small items that left us scratching our heads though: Several interior bedroom and bath doors are the original doors and do not shut easily or completely. This wasn't a huge deal for our group, but could be for others. Also, there were no knobs or handles on the kitchen drawers, and since the doors are full overlay, about half can only be opened by first opening the drawers above and below. These would be easy and cheap fixes. Also, the housekeeper missed a few items, like the coffee maker had old grounds in it - just little things, but a little attention to detail goes a long way. We'd consider staying again, but it would depend on the group.
