Beautiful, Awesome Sunrises
#2 Cabin was just the right size and was an amazing place to sit on the deck and watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee! The wildlife was very entertaining including. Chuck is a great person to work with. Looking forward to returning.

Thank you for staying with us.
Loved the seclusion of the property. Definitely away from it all. Be sure and bring your food and drinks with you. Chuck was great host. Will be back
Was nice to have your family as guests. Come back anytime.
Perfect peaceful spot for an easy getaway in the Tennessee mountains
We only had a couple days left at the end of the summer, and this turned out to be the perfect spot for me and three of my children ages 8-13. We live in Florida so I was looking to be tucked away in the mountains and near a body of water. And that's exactly what this was. Access to a wide stretch of the TN river from the inlet behind the cabin. Beautiful, well-built cabin, cozy as can be and you can tell someone who pays attention to detail is taking care of this lovely place. Gorgeous views. Great fishing. My son caught a little bass right off the dock on the first day. Many excellent hiking spots up and down the river within minutes. Also enjoyed having the fire pit and grill outside, loved sipping coffee on the porch while taking in the stillness of the natural surroundings in the morning, and the outdoor bathtub is a great touch which we enjoyed. The four of us slept comfortably (youngest loved the loft bed). There's a shower and laundry room in a separate part of the cabin which was very useful to have.
The owner is wonderful too. Incredibly thoughtful and gracious, he made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. He was great with the kids and was absolutely key in encouraging my youngest to try out the kayak -- which she ended up loving and of course is now the most enthusiastic about kayaking. Speaking of which, loved having access to the kayaks (canoes are an option too) which we took out daily. There's a little beach spot during low tide on the opposite side of the TN river which became a favorite kayaking destination for us. It's a scenic but long and windy road to get to the cabin from Chattanooga so once you're there it makes sense to stay put. Of course, without children that may not be such a big deal. For us, we found it easier to do our Chattanooga touristy agenda on the way in the first day and the way out on the last day.
We are looking forward to getting back as soon as we can, bringing the rest of the crew and renting two of the cabins. I can't recommend highly enough.
Thank you for being our guests. glad you had a good time.
Nice Week Away
We really enjoyed our week away in Cabin #2. Chuck is a great host and we enjoyed the Cabin and time away as a family. The amenities listed were not as represented in the listing as wifi is for email only and there was no TV available. The pics also don't show that there is neighbor just across the river from this cabin. The water in front of cabin is not conducive to swimming since there is so much vegetation (of course not something Chuck can control), just a note for reference. When we booked our reservation there was a deal for booking 3 nights and get one free but for some reason we didn't get that discount when we booked our reservation. Be sure to reach out before you book if you have any questions. Chuck is super responsive, just didn't know to reach out before booking. We were also able to bring our boat and use Chuck's dock on the other side of the island, we very much appreciated that! We really did have a nice week away!
My husband and I picked this cabin for our 7 year anniversary and it was great! We enjoyed having our breakfast and coffee on the deck overlooking the water. We enjoyed the kayaks that were on site for us to use and we also went exploring a couple of days into Chattanooga. I wish we had stayed another day so we could have went hiking in the state forest but we'll have to plan that next time! Chuck was an amazing host, super friendly down to earth guy! Loved our experience here!
Clean Cozy Cabin with amazing view
We loved our stay in cabin #2. We had our own secluded dock and fire pit. The cabin was nicely decorated and had new appliances. We plan to return. ❤❤❤
