Cabine mignonne dans un quartier calme proche de toute l'action dans la région de York Beach. ¼ de mile de Short Sands Beach et ¾ mile de Long Sands Beach et de la pittoresque Nubble Light House. Les restaurants, les magasins, les arcades et les divertissements sont à quelques minutes à pied.
La cabine est joliment décorée et peut accueillir 4 personnes dans deux chambres. Une chambre a un lit complet et l'autre a des lits superposés. Il y a aussi un futon dans le salon pour un invité du jour au lendemain ou deux. Salon et cuisine à concept ouvert.
Grand patio extérieur avec beaucoup de chaises pour traîner, table à manger et barbecue à gaz. Patio est niché dans une zone avec une canopée d'arbres. Il y a aussi un petit pont avant dans la cabine avec des chaises pour profiter de votre café du matin.

The cottage was adorable. We enjoyed our stay. my complaints are that it was not up to my star of Clean. Lots of dust and hair along the bed frame, floors, and along would work. Washer had supposedly a slow leak, which was more than that. A few times it was more of a flood. Two pans I used I had to use steel wool to get them clean so I could use them. There were spiderwebs in the master bedroom and bathroom and spiders. The place was cute, but I would mention to the owner that if they have a cleaning service, they need to pay more attention to what they’re doing!

In town for a wedding. Place worked out fine for our needs. Reasonable price. Tight space for 4 adults and 2 toddlers once the rain set in but otherwise had everything we needed for our stay. Will likely stay again.

Cozy Cottage

We’ve stayed at York Beach many times over the years. Mostly long weekends at the Union Bluff. This year we decided to rent a cottage and we’re glad we did. The place was perfect for us and an easy walk to short sands. I’m a real early bird so I get up at 4am and each morning got out for a sunrise walk and it was great. The weather was awesome except for one day . So if you like to walk a little you’d never need your car if you planned on spending most of your time at Short Sands with all the shops and restaurants! We left on the 4th of July and the homes and town was very festive and patriotic! Thanks Peter and Lori for a nice stay!!Steve and Sue

Granddaughter Getaway

I took my 3 teenage granddaughters for a short visit to Maine. We stayed at our favorite "little yellow cabin" for 2 nights. It was cozy, clean, and very well-equipped - even having boogie boards and an umbrella for the beach! Though overcast, we enjoyed the waves at the beach, a lobster boat cruise, eating salt water taffy, and lobster at local restaurants. A perfect getaway for me & my grands!

Angry ocean weekend

We absolutely loved the cottage! It was perfect for us,& I could see it being comfortable with up to the six people it mentions in the advertisement. It was louder with extras that I wasn’t expecting, from every spice you can imagine to a washer & dryer unit! The entertainment center was packed with many games etc. we grilled out backyard! It really was a great weekend getaway!

Exceptional experience!

The cottage had abundantly everything we needed and was immaculate! The beds were luxurious and the kitchen filled with everything! It was within walking distance to two beaches and the downtown beachside shopping center. Definitely plan to make a return trip!

Unit smelled musty. Bad for allergies, asthma. Window stuck open w/cold rain. Dirty dishes, silverware, pots/pans Cooktop crusty. Black mold filled bucket under sink. Screen door trapped us inside. Bathroom bad urine smell Black mold & mildew in shower/tub. Comforters stunk,wrappers,sand, &food in bed. Yellow stain on mattress pad. Ew! Dead spiders in folds of blankets. Needs attention. Only VRBO ever where was required to “pay extra” if we wanted sheets and towels. Quaint, Nice neighborhood location.

Great spot!

Adorable little cottage! Private, quiet. Great location - walking distance to both beaches, town & Nubble Light. Nice yard with chairs where I sat in the shade on hot days. Wi-Fi, tv, even a washer & dryer. Fully equipped kitchen. Especially appreciated the refrig stocked with ketchup, mayo, mustard. Pantry had coffee filters, sugar, spices - all the little things I hate to have to buy on vacation. Wonderful stay!

Little yellow Cabin

This cabin is a little hidden gem. It is the perfect home away from home. It has everything & more that you need to make your beach stay amazing. Great location. It is a very short walk to short sands and all the downtown shops. Long sands is also just a short walk.The cabin was very clean & so cutely decorated. The owners were very friendly & commutation was great. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

Great Cottage

Great little cottage that is a short walk to Short Sands Beach. The cottage was very clean, and the owners were very responsive to any questions I asked. We had an absolute great time!

Location,location,location

Although the weather wasn’t cooperating, the cabin itself is as described in the ad. We basically parked our truck and didn’t need to use it to get around town.Restaurants, beach and things to do are all in walking distance. We contacted the owners about a minor issue( broken door knob) and response was immediate.

Fantastic little beach cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was clean, comfortable, and true to the photos. You can’t beat the location, and we had everything we needed for our stay. It was a short walk to Short Sands and still walkable, but just a slightly longer walk, to Long Sands. If returning to York, we would stay at the cottage again!

Relive childhood memories

We enjoyed walking to Nubble Light, the quick walk to the beach via sidewalks, and the ease of the property's location. This one level entrance was great for my dad, who has some mobility limitations. The beach supplies under the house were abundant (the umbrellas were especially nice to have for the beach). The weather was cool at night for great sleeping. Plenty of fans for airflow and white noise. It was lovely to meet the owner Mrs. Cote and the neighbor Marge across the street. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Tucked back a short 9 minute walk from Short Sands Beach, is a cute little cabin! Perfect place for our 3-day weekend and conveniently located to Nubble and Short Sands! Would stay here again. 🌊🏖🌞

weekend getaway

This little gem in tucked away in the lovely Nubble Light neighborhood. Great location for walkers. Short Sands and Long Sands are a short walk away with nice restaurants choices. The place was very clean and had comfortable mattresses, all little amenities like wooden cutting boards and sharp knives for making mini charcuterie boards. Variety of dishes, bowls, glasses, cups. There is single mini Keurig style coffeemaker and a drip pot. Stovetop and oven heats quickly(I boil water every morning for all day tea drinking) Water tasted fine to me. Water pressure is great, Lock is a bit sticky but with a little effort you can figure it out. It even has a washer dryer set up and full shower/tub is this cozy cottage as well as cable(although we didn't turn on the tv) The electric heating boards works well in case of cool nights. Lovely neighbors too! I didn't feel cramped with 3 of us sitting in front of the large picture window overlooking a grassy side yard. Many seats outdoors to enjoy morning coffee or even grilling. Last morning woke up to deer in the backyard snacking on the neighbors bushes. A beautiful start to the day before a walk along the shore. Thank you for your wonderful communications Peter and Lori.

Cozy little hideaway

We wanted an affordable stay in Cape Neddick that gave us a place to sleep and cook. This place is perfect. Only a couple of blocks from the ocean and "downtown", it was exactly what we needed. Very cleaned and well outfitted. It would be a great place for couples or a small family.

Walk to Nubble Light

Cute cottage. Great location. 3/4 mile walk to Nubble Light - easy to catch the sunrise if you are awake in time. Well stocked kitchen. TV with cable and DVD player. Convenient to downtown area of York Beach. Owners were very communicative and accessible.
