The Sand unit was more than we expected. Paul and Fayeanne were amazing hosts!!! The east end was perfect for our group.. Easy travel to either side of the island and perfect to come back to after a busy day. Being able to snorkel out front was amazing:). The pool for relaxing and a movie was watched in the theatre room every night. Overall we couldn’t have asked for anything more!!!

Amazing place right on the beach! The view is spectacular! The home is beautiful, well maintained, and very comfortable for 5 of us! The hosts are so welcoming, kind, and helpful. We would highly recommend this place!

What a perfect home to stay, with perfect hosts and accommodations. We had everything we needed in this beautifully appointed home. I recommend everyone stay if you want to wake to peace, and a gorgeous ocean just feet from your patio. No hustle or bustle, just calm. If anything was needed Paul was quick to respond. We will be back.

This place is a 10 star! It’s amazing our family had the best stay! We could spread out and felt like we were the only ones there Paul and Fay Anne are excellent Hosts and if we needed anything they helped in anyway they could to accommodate! Skip the 7 mile beach and head to Sand & Sky! Amazing place!

Our week long stay at Sand could not have been better. Paul, Faye Ann and Bugsy we the best hosts. We wanted for nothing. The property was private and beautiful, but still convenient for us to visit the whole island (rent a car :) Out two teenage children had plenty of space and loved the pool and snorkeling in the bay. They have decided this was our best family vacation ever! We hope to get back there soon!

Superb place

This place was great for us. Nicely secluded but within 5 minutes of the far east end so we could dive with Ocean Frontiers, a superb dive company. Paul and Fay live on property but were totally unobtrusive and were super helpful, especially in releasing into the ocean baby turtles left behind in the nest right there on the beach. Will definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your review. Yes, we keep in the background but there to help if asked. Crescent Beach is special - not only is the beach private, but it is home to nesting turtles every year around this time - when baby stragglers are left behind in the nest, Paul is permitted to keep them until evening and then release them once dark. We have a wonderful array of nature to appreciate, from the coconut water from low-hanging coconuts, to all kinds of land and sea birds, a family of agoutis, an in-your-face heron who definitely thinks he owns the place, and many rock curly-tail lizards who just love crumbled egg or cheese. What's not to love? We look forward to your next visit.

Incredible stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at Crescent beach! Paul and Fay Anne are the most gracious hosts imaginable and anticipate your every need in their vacation rental. The oceanfront setting and the amenities are perfect. We already reserved it again for next year.

Best vacation ever

Our family felt this place was total paradise. It has been a complete dream staying here and i would recommend it to anyone that wants privacy and lots of laughs with family. Paul was very attentive and went out of his way for us.

Great Stay

Crescent Beach was a wonderful place to stay. The check in process easy. Paul and Faye Anne met us and gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked. The mornings were beautiful, just sitting and looking out over the cove. So peaceful. We are very happy with our decision to stay at Crescent Beach and would love to return.

We had such an amazing stay at Crescent Beach! We had such a nice time relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, kayaking, making a campfire, and watching all the Indiana Jones movies in the theater! Wow!

We had a fantastic time! This property is gorgeous and well equipped. Our kids enjoyed snorkeling everyday and saw SO many things! It was a great experience. Paul and Fay Anne are outstanding hosts. Brent and Connie are great neighbors! We sure hope to return to Grand Cayman and will most certainly stay here!

Peaceful Oceanside Getaway

Paul and Fay Anne are lovely hosts! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Sand especially for families with young children (ours are 1 & 4). It has all the comforts of home. The beach is rocky but we loved looking for shells and little sea creatures. The pool a perfect size and has an awesome ocean view. The peaceful sound of the waves helped us to relax and appreciate this beautiful island. We would definitely stay here again and again!

Thank you for your visit and for the review. Yes, there are lots of little sea and sand creatures for the kids to look at. Curly, the rock lizard is always a big hit. Crescent Beach is what they call a "perch-beach" - a layer of sand of various thicknesses starting at the ocean edge and running up to wherever high-water waves or the occasional bad weather can carry the sand. The bottom of Half Moon Bay is a mix of broken coral and sand - which tends over time to bury the coral. We do not fight nature - we are just grateful that the depth of sand lost during storms Grace and Ian is coming back. The mama turtles (over 750 babies this year) need the deep sand and our side is definitely ready for them. We look forward to seeing you both and the little ones again.

Would definitely do again!

The house was exactly as described online! Our group of 6 (ranging in age from 14 to 70) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well stocked kitchen, nice selection of books, games and puzzles. HUGE library of DVDs in the theater room. Comfortable furniture to lounge by the pool or hammocks on the beach. We basically had the beach to ourselves. Just what we were looking for!

Thanks for your review. Crescent Beach is very private and we like to think that guests needing relaxation get just that. Of course, we have a bunch of activities 15 minutes away from Crescent Beach for when the mood takes. So we feel that it offers the best of both worlds. It was great to meet you all.

Our family of six loved our stay here. We stayed in the sand unit and it was clean and spacious. With three bedrooms and three baths we felt at home and comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Paul and Faye Anne were both great and so welcoming. You can tell they have put so much into making this space the perfect retreat for their guest. My teens loved all the outside games and cornhole but our favorite feature by far was the theatre room. We watched movies almost nightly!! We will for sure stay here again!!

Peace and tranquillity

If you enjoy relaxing on the ocean without crowds or the hustle and bustle of the west side of Cayman, Sand is a wonderful quiet place to vacation. We found the snorkeling to be some of the best on the island, just be prepared to walk over a rocky bottom for about the first 20 feet. Paul and Fay Anne are great hosts and we enjoyed getting to know them.

Perfect in every way

Our accommodations at Sand were perfect. There were four of us and everything we could have wanted (and more) were provided. We enjoyed snorkling, the home theater, barbecue, pool, and games. Paul was responsive to our needs. It is tough getting through the rocks on the way out to snorkle but well worth it!

Thank you for your review - Mother Nature is dominant at Crescent Beach and at the moment she has uncovered the coral rocks normally hidden under beautiful sand. As the winds change, the sand will return. But the bonus is gorgeous snorkeling for those prepared to cross over the short coral rock border. We look forward to seeing you again.

Absolutely beautiful!!!! The home is stunning and Paul and Fay Anne are wonderful host!

The home is stunning. There is a beautiful corral reef right off your door step, so you can roll out of bed and snorkel until your hearts content. Plenty of room, plenty of amenities and Paul and Fay Anne make sure your stay is wonderful! The owners have thought of everything you may need while there including beach towels, coolers and beach gear to help make traveling the island without overpacking even easier. We hope to book this home again in the future.
