Enjoyed the spot it was a great area to stay everything was clean and as advertised would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Adelaide but not in the cbd
Fantastic property in a beautiful location, with wonderful views overlooking the city. Prasad was a great host and very helpful. My partner and I stayed for 9 nights and found the location a fantastic base for exploring the Adelaide hills and surrounding area with our 2 dogs. I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends.
If you want some solitude this is the place to go. Wild life all around you. We were even greeted by an echidna on arrival.
I would recommend this place to anyone.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Prasad and his lovely wife were very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed and going out of their way in setting up the deck area with enough tables and chairs for our families Easter luncheon.
We found our bed comfortable and there was plenty of water pressure with the shower.
Our dog enjoyed her stay too, exploring the paths through the woodland.
The location was perfect for spending a few days enjoying the glorious Adelaide Hills, including wineries, Mount Lofty and the Botanic gardens there.
The property was set up for one or two night stays (yes, Covid): we were there 8 days. We missed a few items in the kitchen, but I'm sure Prasad has addressed this now.
Could not find a more obliging host. We had our dogs with us, and Prasad was very comfortable with dogs inside, which we appreciated enormously.
The ambiance was so tranquil we found we spent more time in the property than we expected to.
A very good find.
Such an amazing little slice of paradise đPrasad had provided us with such an amazing little getaway and was soooo hospitable. The place is so peaceful with such a spectacular view at sunset. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting such a peaceful retreat đ
Very accurate description of the property, lots of information. Very clean and comfortable. We attended a wedding in the area so it was very convenient for all our family to stay together. Would recommend đ
It was perfect for us as our wedding venue was a 7min drive. The owners were super friendly and were very helpful with any queries we had. The only issues we found was the door was hard to open, as you had to turn the handle anti clockwise and we didnât understand this so might be helpful to place a sign up indicating for other guests? Also shops were a bit far out we were finding we didnât bring what food we needed so this did make it hard. We later noticed there was a house a few blocks down that sold eggs this would of been helpful to know early so maybe a pamphlet with the kitchen? Just cause long life milk which I donât drink only fresh and cornflakes and oats is a bit lacking. I guess because my Nanna runs 2 homes as accommodation Iâm use to seeing eggs, bacon, homemade bread, fresh milk, juice, pancake mix etc. so I didnât really expect to need to bring all this. Also was a little disappointing to notice the wifi wasnât great connection which is NOT AT ALL owners fault!! Would obviously just be the area :) but it meant that when my husband and I bought our chromecast in hopes to watch Netflix it wouldnât work. It also made for a very upset little girl who couldnât stream abciview to watch bluey. The tv was a smart tv so it had access to these apps however the tv didnât allow for wireless connectivity it needed a internet cable plugged in to it to access the internet. If this had of been installed we would of been able to log in to our accounts and had more to watch so this was disappointing. Overall was a good stay but if we were to come again we would probably bring a laptop and hook it up to our mobile hot spot to watch movies and then hdmi to tv and we would bring more food.
No mention of the fact his house is joined. No mention of the fact he sits there watching you on a video camera all night. Told we wouldnât be charged for checking out a touch late, tried to charge for that. Tried to charge me for an extra bed even though there was no extra bed involved. Not to mention he has a dirty dog that looks like it hasnt been looked after in months kept in a small cage with no food or water out back too. Bad experience, 10/10 do not recommend, save your money and stay ANYWHERE else, cheers. :)
The rooms are actually a wing of the main house. It is closed off from the main house via a door in a bedroom. It feels private while you're there though, you have no sense of other people once inside.
There are great heaters and electric blankets in all the bedrooms but no main heating in the living room which was a shame on such a cold, foggy, rainy weekend.
Owners where very friendly and helpful with getting us settled in
Lovely place to stay. We only stayed the night for a nearby wedding so didn't use outside patio but the place was clean, comfortable, and inviting. Will pass on to friends and family.
My friends and I had a great time dressing up 80's for a local event. We loved relaxing at Prasad and his wife's beautiful home, and the view is breath taking. A great place for the soul!
Wonderful welcoming people and a lovely stay. Thankyou!
Bad experience as owner tries to milk money with every opportunity. Locked the room in the house and asked extra payment to unlock. False blame for damage. Premises was not clean.
We had a wonderful week staying at this property with beautiful views and great sized bedrooms too.
Very lovely hosts who were constantly giving us suggestions for local visits.
Would definitely be staying there again.
It was a great stay house was well equipped in a lovely location. Only thing we werenât aware of is that the house was connected to the owners own living quarters divided by a door way. This didnât cause us any issues.
Beautiful location, very peaceful, no neighbors can be seen, but just beautiful trees, mountains, lovely Adelaide views with sea beyond, sunsets, birds, occasional kangaroo & koala sighting in the property.
