Spacious no-stairs home in a quiet, leafy, family-friendly Athelstone street. Enjoy 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, & 3 off-street car parks. Includes 1 set of bed & bath linen hire (except for sofabed & portacot- BYO linen if using these), unlimited NBN WiFi, private backyard, laundry, A/C, Playstation Mini, high chair, portacot (BYO baby linen), bath, step stool, books & toys. Walk to shops, playgrounds & nature trails.

You're welcome to message or email me any time. I will respond as soon as possible 9am-9pm. If you need urgent help after hours, you can call my mobile phone for a faster response.

Athelstone is a beautiful, leafy suburb. If you love nature, but still want the convenience of being close enough to modern conveniences, this is the perfect area for you.

Very popular with local families. It is located approximately 10km North East of Adelaide CBD and is close to so many places and things to do.

There are plenty of shops within a 5 minute drive and many choices for delicious food and coffee.

For a nature walk, Black Hill conservation park is only a 4 minute drive up the road. The famous Morialta Falls and huge, new nature playground is also only 8 mins away. Thorndon Park with it's big ovals, BBQ areas, large outdoor chess set, water reservoir, playground and birdlife including ducks, water hens and some times the occasional goose is only 4mins drive down the road.

Drive 20 minutes up Gorge road and you'll be completely surrounded by nature and many people-friendly animals at the Gorge Wildlife Park. The kids will love hand feeding and patting the animals!

The famous Barossa Valley is also only a 45 minute drive!

And if you fancy a visit to the beach, Semaphore Beach is only about half an hour away.

If you like golf, the local Lochiel Park Golf at Geoff Heath Par 3 course down the road is very convenient.

You will have the entire house, backyard and garage to enjoy, apart from the cleaner's cupboard in the back hall, which will be locked. Guest cleaning supplies are under the kitchen sink and in the laundry cupboards, which you're welcome to use.

There’s enough space to easily park 2 cars on the paving out the front of the house. There’s also a single garage with a roller door with remote control you can access.

For larger vehicles like caravans and boats, there is also free, untimed street parking nearby. All parking is at your own risk. So please ensure you have adequate insurance and take usual protective measures such as locking your vehicle and covering valuables etc.

The driveway up to the house is shared, so please ensure your vehicle(s) do not encroach or block the driveway. Thanks.

This is a beautiful, spacious (bigger than most other 3 bedroom homes) family & worker friendly home. It's in the most serene location surrounded by trees & birds down the end of a quiet no-through street.
*It has not one, but 2x Work desk set ups
*3 off-street car parking spaces: 1 single garage with remote control + 2 open air spaces (no height restrictions) on the paved area in front of the house/garage
*Air-conditioning: 4 reverse cycle (heat & cool) wall mounted systems (one in each bedroom & one in the open plan living area). All are individually controlled for your convenience – see photos for location.
*1 set of bed and bath linen hire is included as part of the cleaning/set up fee (please make sure guest number is entered correctly at the time of booking).

This is a spacious 3 bedroom family home with an open plan design and high ceilings so you won’t feel cramped. Due to guest feedback, maximum occupancy from 5th March 2026 will be 7 adults. Be sure to enter the correct number of guests to ensure you get an accurate quote and the home is set up adequately for your stay.

Bedding configuration:
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed + 1 self serve portacot (BYO baby linen) + 1 baby change table
Bedroom 2: 2 Single beds
Bedroom 3: 1 Queen bed
Living area: sofa bed (BYO linen for sofa bed if using it).
Max. occupancy is 7 people + infants (under 2 yrs old)

The home has modern, easy clean floating timber floors throughout. So it’s quick and easy to keep things clean and comfortable with the kids around. A vacuum and mop and bucket is provided for your convenience.

There's plenty to keep your kids entertained: toys, colouring ins, puzzles, games, books and for the bigger kids, a wall mounted 50" 4k Smart TV, Playstation Classic (mini) plus unlimited fast Wifi.

Have a nice, home cooked meal and relaxing night in cooking with the whole family.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences. Including a big 900mm gas cooktop and under bench oven. There’s a full size fridge, microwave, blender and plenty of bench space. The kitchen island is complete with a double bowl sink and extendable hose tap.

Cleaning up after your meal is a breeze with the dishwasher. No need to waste valuable down time doing the dishes by hand. It's like your very own home away from home.

After dinner, if you feel like a nice stroll, the home is surrounded by leafy streets to explore. And there are not one, but two reserves with play equipment within walking distance. If you fancy some dessert, the supermarket and 24/7 OTR is only about 750m away.

All the queen beds have 5 star pillow top mattresses & comfy linen and pillows. One of the single beds in bedroom 2 also has a pillow top mattress. The other single bed in bedroom 2 has a standard mattress for the little ones or those that prefer a slightly firmer mattress. A children’s safety bed rail is also provided for you to use with our compliments if needed with this mattress. 1 set of bed and bath linen is provided per booking and is commercially cleaned in-between stays.

For year round comfort, there's a wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning unit in the open plan living area and one in each bedroom (see photos for specific location). You're welcome to use the air-conditioners as much as you need during your stay.

A starter supply of basic consumables is provided. For further grocery supplies, a quick trip down to the local grocery store (Foodland at Athelstone is closest, or there’s Aldi a little further down the road) or shop online and have groceries delivered to your door from nearby Coles and Woolworths. Also check out the guest guide book provided for all the great local food places to visit.

Coffee, anyone? There's a Nespresso coffee pod machine you can use during your stay. So be sure to bring your favourite flavour of pods along. We’ve got a jar at the house to help get you started. There's also plenty of cafes nearby that do great coffee, so don't worry, your caffeine fix is never too far away! Some of the local cafes even do their own coffee blends in a Nespresso compatible pod so you can bring the cafe flavours home. Super handy when you feel like a cup in your pyjamas.

We know you'll appreciate the house & linen being thoroughly cleaned in-between each and every booking. It takes hours to properly prepare the home to a high standard. The cleaning fee ensures it can be done on a sustainable basis.

No need to bring your entire wardrobe to make it through your Adelaide stay! There’s a front load washing machine you’re welcome to use to freshen up your clothes and linen as needed. We even provide a starter supply of laundry liquid for your convenience. During warmer weather, there's a clothes line out the back where your clothes will dry so quick. In wet weather, there's a portable 3-tier clothes frame to dry your clothes inside in front of the air conditioner, so either way, your laundry needs are taken care of.

The house is very comfortable and easy to stay at with lots of thoughtful touches. It was lovely and clean and a great kitchen. We did not have kids but noticed the cot, high chair, and kids books/activities. The supermarket and post office are very close and convenient. National Park is nearby but we did not go as busy with family. On previous visits to Athelstone we have enjoyed hiking in the park and saw koalas.

The home was very clean and suited all our needs. We were there for Gather Round and the property was close to bus links. The kids especially loved the puzzles and foosball table. Would highly recommend!!

Cleanliness was disappointing and odor of oily food persisted in the kitchen and entryway. Furniture in good shape and beds were comfortable, but floor had many several gaps in the boards and foosball table was nearly unusable. Host was very helpful and communication was great. Clear instructions for check-in and check-out.

V clean, good facilities, handy location. Bit of trouble with the wi-fi, sounds like a new modern may be required. Barbecue would be a nice addition but overall self-catering was well provided for.

Thanks Peter, nice to hear you enjoyed the home amenities and location. Apologies again for the wifi issue. The NBN technician was out at the property first thing the next morning and fixed it. It was an NBN infrastructure problem out of our control (not our modem). We actually used to have a BBQ at the house but after it getting damaged multiple times by previous guests, we can no longer justify providing one. Thorndon Park just down the road has multiple public BBQ facilities you're welcome to use. There's also a lovely big playground, large chess set, ovals and a lake to enjoy while you're there. 😊☀️Best wishes, Linda, Celestia Homes.

The house and neighborhood were great! Very easy communication with rental company/ owners. We were hoping to get to use the pool after long and hot 12 hour days of work but it was only allowed to be used between 12-5pm. Also the pool is not directly behind the house but rather separated by a fence in the next yard, so we didn’t want to disturb the neighbors. Wish those parameters had been more clear in the rental description. Overall, it was a good stay in a great part of town.

Our accomodation was 5/5 star quality. We felt right at home from the moment we we stepped into the beautiful cosy home, clean and with all necessities available and in perfect working order. Linda is an outstanding host, prompt to reply to any questions and flexible to extend our stay when we were finding it difficult to to leave beautiful Adelaide. Next time we are in Adelaide we will most definitely come back to this home in Athelstone. So grateful to Linda and Keith for their service and top quality care for us during our time in Adelaide. Not as described on Stayz platform

We did not enjoy our stay as much as anticipated because I booked the property specifically because it was shown to have a pool, listed in the amenities on the Stayz platform. My two grandchildren were very disappointed that this was not the case. Linda was helpful and the error has now been corrected. However, Stayz has not contacted me regarding my complaint even though I have been issued a case number by their support team.To sum up I have no issue with the property but I am not at all satisfied with Stayz lack of response.

Thank you Glynis. Again, my sincere apologies for the error by the booking platform Stayz/vrbo. We've never had a pool and do not mention one in our description or photos. Unfortunately we have no control over the Stayz/vrbo system. We did our best to help you out and also provided you a prompt partial refund out of our own pocket so that you could take your grand children to the local aquatic and recreation centre nearby, so they did not have to miss out on any aquatic fun. I'm sorry the Stayz/vrbo customer service has let us down in not following up with you promptly. But I'm glad you did not have any problems with our place in itself and I was able to personally help you have a better stay. Future guests, if you have any special requirements or specific amenities you're after, please review the full listing description and photos and double check with us so we can help make sure the home will be suitable for your needs before booking. Lovely home away from home.

Lovely, tidy and clean home. My parents recently came from Melbourne to visit us and they absolutely loved this home. Close to everything and walking distance to local parks and playgrounds, including local shops and cafes. Quiet, leafy suburb with everything you need to make you feel like you are home. We required accommodation in the area at short notice. Linda was very accommodating and the property is modern, clean and well-equipped, suiting our needs perfectly. The host kept in regular contact, replied to queries within a short timeframe and was accommodating and flexible when we needed to extend our stay. Highly recommend.

Hi, my name is Linda and my family and I run a small, short term rental business in Adelaide called Celestia Homes. Celestia Homes is our livelihood and we’ve put everything into it to build it up over the last few years.

We’re a young family and often travel for continual work and personal development, so naturally, Celestia Homes specialises in providing high quality homes for travelling families and workers.

Stay at our place and you will get a safe, clean, family friendly stay, with us personally as your hosts. We care and will look after you like family.
