We are glad that that the house had everything you needed but are sorry you did not feel welcomed. As we have listed and discussed with you right as you notified us you were close to checking in and in the days before with the check-in Vrbo messages for your reservation, a fee is charged for any guests not in the reservation in advance or over the 6 people limit. We appreciated your honesty but the minimal notification of excess guests minutes before your arrival, left us with no other option to cancel or charge the fee. We also stated that you did not need to pay more for the days the quests did not exceed your reserved guests. As we also described with you that our homes utilities (including its septic system) cannot accommodate excess guests and the home showed the max guests. The house is made to accommodate the reserved guests comfortably and is not made for multiple families. The Vrbo home listing also lists a security system on the property’s exterior for you security as well as ours. As with all guests a checkout message is sent out via VRBO messaging with information regarding checkout. As with all Vrbo rentals, guests are asked to clean up after themselves. With a cleaning fee for the additional sanitizing of all areas, cleaning and set-up. All stated in your rental with us. It is always disappointing when a rental ends up this way but did not feel this was a good fit for us either.
