Construit en 1898, cette maison historique est pleine de tout le charme et le caractère d'une maison ancienne. Il est certifié par la ville de Grand Haven en tant que propriété à louer résidentielle. L'appartement à l'étage comme indiqué ici est disponible pour votre séjour de vacances dans cette communauté du lac Michigan.

Situé dans le bloc 100 de Franklin, dans le quartier historique du centre-ville, il est à seulement un pâté de maisons du canal / de la promenade et de Washington Street, où vous trouverez de nombreux magasins et restaurants raffinés. This is fantastic property - a great location in a great town. Only a block away from downtown but still a neighborhood feel - and the beach is close by. Clean, spacious, and perfect for our family's stay. We've stayed at many different places in Grand Haven over the years and this was one of the best!

Great Location & Family Friendly

Hang Your Hat was the perfect stay for our family of three. It is super close to local shops, restaurants, and of course the beach. We walked to a lot of local spots including the Grand Haven Musical Fountain. We really enjoyed the property and being able to enjoy the area without a bunch of driving.

Amazing location!

The house is in the perfect location! So close to everywhere we wanted to walk to, shops, restaurants, ice cream & the musical fountain. Short drive to the beach. This was our first trip to Grand Haven & we would definitely stay here again.

This was perfect for my family of 4. Well equipped and had all the items needed for prep and cooking. Definitely would consider staying at this location again in the future.

Weekend visit

Parents weekend at GVSU and decided to stay in Grand Haven instead of Grand Rapids. Great location to walk to dinners and a walk to the pier for sunset. Place was clean, cute and had everything thing we needed. Loved it.

Ideal Grand Haven Stay

We weren’t sure how being this close to the action downtown would be noise wise, but it was perfect. Minimal street noise and the location of the bedrooms also made for great sleep. We both agree that this place had one of the most comfy beds we have slept in at a VRBO! We appreciated the reasonable and quick checkout expectations. We’d book again, for sure!

Great Location and Communication

The location was great - walkable to downtown and the beach, but not too noisy at night (for my family of 4). Eric was very responsive to communication when needed at check-in. We also found the decor in the place to be more child-friendly (less cluttered) than pictured, which we appreciated. However, there did seem to be some spots in the shower/bathroom that need a deeper cleaning (see photos).

Great Location

We stayed in the upper Unit. Loved sitting out on the porch enjoying the weather! Location to everything was great. Biked and walked a lot. Unit was clean and had what we needed. Beds were comfy and great kitchen table for playing games.

Don’t Hesitate to Book this Gem!

What a great experience! Hang Your Hat has everything you could want or need. It’s right downtown close to shops and restaurants and just a block from the beach! We were able to ride our bike or walk most everywhere. Nancy’s attention to detail is amazing! We enjoyed our breakfast on the porch each day. Such a nice neighborhood! The place is decorated so cute! This will become a yearly vacation for us! Thank you, Nancy!

Thank you so kindly for your comprehensive review! Yes, the location of HYH in GH is ideal for whatever your interests include; shopping and restaurants just a block away, the beach a short ride by car or bike! Many other interests in the area with something for everyone to enjoy. As you noted, HYH in GH is your "home away from home" with everything you will need for your stay without having to bring it yourself; gourmet kitchen, all paper products, soaps, and fine linens. We have always been detailed oriented in everything at the cottage, and even more so this season with detailed cleaning with Microban products used for every touchable surface, knob, pull, or remote. Safety is our primary concern when you come to stay for a relaxing vacation in Grand Haven.

We had a wonderful time at HYH! We've been coming here for years. It's really a great place to stay. It's charming, in a great location, and within walking distance to our favorite places. Eric gave us all the info we needed and was easy to get a hold of. We look forward to coming back next year. We highly recommend HYH.

We were able to work remotely via the wifi for the week. Well stocked with everything we needed minus just a coffee bean grinder. Front deck was always shady. Really loved the location. 1 block from downtown and 1 block to the channel leading to the pier and Lake Michigan.

The perfect place for a fall trip

My family and I could not be happier with our time at Hang Your Hat. The unit itself was beautiful, with plenty of windows to let in natural light and a breeze. We spent much of our time on the front balcony overlooking the street below, which was a perfect place to enjoy a fall afternoon. The location was ideal -- we could be at the restaurants and shops of downtown Grand Haven in a matter of minutes, or be right on the river boardwalk to get to the lighthouse or beach. Grand Haven never disappoints, but without a doubt this was the most impressive place we stayed.
