Emplacement très central, à seulement quelques pas de la plage de Cylinder, de l'hôtel, des magasins et des restaurants. Caractéristiques: 3 chambres (2 reines, 2 lits simples), toilettes séparées, lave-linge à chargement frontal, sèche-linge, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, TV couleur, DVD, lecteur CD, douche extérieure, table de filetage, barbecue à gaz et barbecue à bois.

Cette maison basse est à seulement quelques minutes à pied des commerces, des plages, des transports en commun et de l'hôtel Straddie et est entièrement clôturée - parfaite pour les enfants ou les animaux domestiques.

Linge fourni pour les réservations effectuées après le 1/12/18, NB Les lits ne sont pas faits et le linge devra peut-être être retourné à notre bureau lors du retour des clés.

What can I say....for our family of 3 and a furbaby, it was exactly what we needed! The yard was just the right size, well fenced and a very quiet location only a 500 metre walk to the local supermarket and a great little take away store if your feeling a little lazy to cook. The house is on an elevated block to catch all those lovely sea breezes. The rooms and amenities were lovely and clean. Kitchen is a good size and modern. If you are wanting the best and freshest prawns on the island caught by a local fisher, go and see Carl at 38 Bigoon Rd, just a 3 min drive from the house as the crow flies. Beach access is close by with plenty of walking tracks.

Loved this property. Sunshine kept this bungalow warm into the cold winters night. Doggo loved the grassy yard. A bonus seeing was the ocean glimpses and whale spouts. Had everything we needed and a great hot shower.

The kitchen was well-equipped, the furniture was right for a beach house, and it had a generally pleasant feel. The price for five nights was quite steep as part of the stay fell into a school holiday period. But because the owners had equipped the house well, there wasn't a feeling of being ripped off, which happens sometimes in beach houses where the owners provide the bare minimum of bad quality items but still charge ridiculous prices.

The home was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was befitting a chef. The bedrooms were very comfortable, we knew it would be lovely, but it was wonderful. The home was very close to beaches and shops, and we really felt at home. Our little poodle loved running on the lush green grass. The beds were comfy The kitchen was well equiped (including a Nespresso machine). And we were surprised to discover the property offered ocean glimpses. We even spotted the odd whale. The fully fenced yard was well maintained and offered plenty of space for our doggo to run round. The location is terrific - an easy walk to Cylinder Beach, The Beach Hotel and local supermarket.

Great location, tired house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at this house many times. It’s in an awesome spot and great for the dogs. However on this occasion there were a few issues. It needs some attention paid not just money in but also money out. The grass was super long when we arrived which was a Saturday so I had to wait till Monday to request a mow and spent the whole weekend picking grass seeds out of my dogs fur. The fridge is old (and door hinged wrong way -could be swapped) and didn’t keep temperature for all the food we had so we had to throw away quite a bit. Then the septic drain backed up which was cleared after a few calls to the office and a day of waiting but the terrible smelll persisted along the kitchen / laundry / twin bed side of the house so we had to keep those windows shut = no breeze.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house wasn’t very clean at all, there were spider webs inside and the windows were not clean for a long time. Including the bbq which was disgusting, we literally had to wash it. Our plan was to use the wood bbq for our Brazilian bbq, which was not possible. The description said it had a wood bbq in the house that’s why we brought the Brazilian meats with us. I did try to contact but, the bbq never showed up and I hardly had reception so I missed a call. The location was good.
