We were very pleased with our stay in Tucson. The location was excellent and the unit was as advertised. Plenty of towels and linens, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and beautiful property. We made daily use of the hot tub and exercise room and ventured up the hiking trail in the backyard more than once. Restaurants and grocery shopping a short drive away. Our host was very easy to communicate with and was prompt to reply to any inquiries. The only issue we encountered, and absolutely no fault of the owner, was that the sound-proofing between upper and lower units is not ideal. We frequently heard the people above us moving around. Nothing earplugs couldnât solve. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
The property was not clean. Kitchen floor was a sticky mess w/some type of spill obviously not cleaned up. The coffee pot was In horrendous condition and should be thrown out. The closets and pantry are loaded with a bunch of superfluous junk. There was moldy food in the refrigerator and the ice trays were full of dirty ice. The dishwasher was full of dishes and two of the coffee cups had lipstick stains on them. The towels were in marginal shape and the guest room bath vanity had the towels just jammed in there as if a child put them away. The window shades are in some cases inoperable and others are tattered. Overall the unit needs to be thoroughly cleaned, de-cluttered and updated.
Perfect place to stay in Tucson. We loved everything about the condo, beyond well stocked, wonderful outdoor space, Julie was so accommodating and responsive. Could not have been better! Thank you for opening up your home.
The property is in a great area, beautiful view, but a real problem with black soot on tile floors. Manager said the cleaners mopped twice, but seems to be a problem with something.
Property is located in the beautiful Catalina mountain's. Owner is excellent to communicate with, the property is very well kept. It is also very spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub are heated so we did get to use these amenities. We as a family absolutely loved it here. Our hope is to return next year!
This is a nice place and with a few small adjustments it would be even better. Change out the plumbing fixtures. Hot water was tough to find in the kitchen. Upgrade the pots and pans and you can ask more $$ per day.
We had a wonderful time! I voiced a couple minor concerns to the owner who was very appreciative. The home could use a little updating, but it served is quite well for the 10 days we were there. Easier accommodated the 6 of us. We will be back in the future!
We have been coming to this condo for three years. We love the beautiful mountain view and the little owl on the porch. My kids love the community pool. It's close to grocery and restaurants, but also in an excluded upscale neighborhood. Just suggest the homeowner to get a new coffee maker and to provide an electric water kettle. Overall, great stay.
The condo was a perfect setup for our family with plenty of room to accommodate the five of us. I especially enjoyed the patio each morning, with a gorgeous view of the mountains and bird watching galore! The trailhead nearby made it convenient to hike each day offering even more spectacular views of the Catalinas. I
It's a very nice condo complex, and a well-kept home. The master bed is really really comfortable. The linens are great. It's extremely clean! It has a great covered porch that looks out to trees and bird feeders. My only negatives would be that the hvac is unusually loud (it's not broken, just loud), so one of the 3 bedrooms isn't good for acoustically-sensitive folks. I must add that we were there during an unusually cold-weather spell, so maybe it's not always that jarring when it turns off and on. The pots and pans could use an upgrade, but the rest of the kitchen stuff was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.
Very clean. Beautiful views from Lanai. Well equipped. Only reservation is noisy HVAC system.
See above review title. Messaged Owner one time - and she wrote back immediately. Felt very comfortable with all the contact info that she left. My wife, daughter, son, his wife and daughter loved the place. Highly recommended.
The place was clean and spacious and a great value! Close to supermarket. We werenât there long enough to enjoy the outdoor fireplace at the âEastâ pool but we walked over and it was beautiful. Grounds are kept perfect. Even the pool area is hoses down early to rid it of pollens (we are east coasters so were out super early to see the work being done. One minor request. Binoculars so us nerds could look at those birds and also look up at the spectacular hills in search of mountain lions, rams and those wild pigs!
We rented this lovely unit in a beautiful development for 12 nights. The unit was in great condition, comfortable beds with all the amenities you could want. Julie was a welcoming and gracious hostess. She seemed to have everything we could have wanted available in the unit!
The location of this unit was particularly unique and more secluded than some others. It had a larger deck with a very nice dining table and seating area. It was simply an oasis to enjoy the stunning views of the landscaping, birds, and mountains. It was glorious to watch the mountains turn orange each evening as the sun was setting.
The amenities in this quiet development included very nice heated pools and we really appreciated the hot tub after a day of hiking! The gated access to the Ventana trail was a real treat. You can even use it to take a short .2 mile walk over to Loews to enjoy lunch or a drink.
We enjoyed our stay in this unit. It's a good size and we loved listening to the birds on the deck in the a.m. The third bedroom is a twin with a pull out trundle bed (I forget if that's specifically mentioned in the write up) but that bedroom would be appropriate for kids maybe, but probably not adults, and it wouldn't be very private. Also - this might just be a Tucson thing, but watch for spiders. We had to "extricate" about 4 or 5 sizable ones - but I don't blame that on the owners or the place (although it might be a good idea to have it sprayed?) Overall, we'd definitely stay here again!
This is a very comfortable condo in a quiet corner location with a great patio and a nice view of the mountains. The Ventanna Canyon View complex in which it is located is also one of the best we have stayed in.
We loved the condo and especially the patio with it's view of the mountains and feeding the hummingbirds. The condo complex is beautifully landscaped and maintained very well. The pools and hot tubs were very enjoyable and useful and convenient. Julie's sister was a very good and responsive to our needs. Our favorite hiking area is Sabino Canyon which is very close. Most any other basic needs are a very short drive away.
Overall the best thing about this property is the location. The Ventana Canyon trail is right there and we made good use of it! Also so close to golf courses. We had a terrific time.
We had a wonderful stay! The condo is beautiful, clean and spacious, and had absolutely everything we needed - it was even nicer than we expected. We were 3 adults and one child - it was a great fit, there was even room for more. The condo complex is very nice - very quiet, safe and with lots of amenities, including pools and tennis courts. We would definitely recommend it and hope we'll get a chance to stay there again during our next trip to Tucson.
Thanks for sharing your place with us. We enjoyed our stay and we are already hoping we can come again next year. The location is great for hiking and being away from it all.
Condo is cozy and has everything you need.
Spacious and clean 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in the Catalina Foothills
The family and I spend 5 wonderful nights in this spacious and clean 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom well equipped condo in the Catalina Foothills. Linens and towels, including pool towels, were included. The kids took advantage of the complexes two pools daily. Close proximity to hiking at Ventana and Sabino Canyons. Located 30 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from the University of Arizona and 30 minutes from the Sonoran Desert Museum and Saguaro National Park (both East and West).
We have been coming to this area for over 30 years to visit relatives (our children call them the "smart" relatives) in Tucson. We finally pulled the trigger and purchased this vacation rental after much research and the help of my sister, the Realtor. We would love for you to enjoy it as much as we do.
This special property has a resort like atmosphere with the heated swimming pools and tennis courts. The desert landscaping around the complex is beautiful and well maintained.
The first floor unit is located on the corner and the patio is very secluded. You hardly notice that you have neighbors. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on the patio in the morning listening to all of the birds.
