Situé sur une colline à deux rues de la plage de Roads End et de l'accès à la plage juste en bas de la colline. La timonerie offre une vue sur l'océan depuis le salon, la salle à manger et sur le pont. L'emplacement est près de Cascade Head où vous pouvez faire plusieurs randonnées pittoresques et tout ce que la nature a à offrir.

La timonerie a été soigneusement conçue pour offrir une superbe vue sur l’océan au niveau principal. Elle est dotée d’un plafond voûté, de puits de lumière et d’un foyer au gaz. En bas, il y a de hauts plafonds et une salle de bains spacieuse. Wheelhouse donne la sensation d'une maison moderne avec un mobilier de haute qualité, des décorations élégantes, une literie somptueuse, de nouvelles télévisions à écran plat et des touches personnalisées.

This was a great house for our trip. Having the two floors was great for separation of kids/adults. Everything was clean and nicely furnished, except unfortunately the dishwasher was broken, but kids learned a new chore (manual dishwash/dry) :)Access to the beach is nice and close and always a good beach for walks. The deer were alot of fun also crusing through the yard and along our walks. Would for sure consider this house again. And you really need to give like 4.5 stars as a choice because this fell pretty close to that on most.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Waking up to that view every morning was such a delight. We missed coffee filters. And the property was a little messy with debris from previous renters. However, we were impressed with the turn around and loved the game room. We were so grateful to have comfy beds to sleep in at such last notice. Thank you and we hop to come stay again!

Enjoyed the stay

Just the right distance to the beach, safeway right around the corner, the climb from the beach to the house was steep but it got my fat ass moving so that's good too.

Kids loved the game room

This was a nice place. Our kids loved playing in the game room. I enjoyed the variety of toys for different age groups that were provided. It was a nice walk to the beach but pretty steep heading back.

Had a nice stay, would have been nice to have known about next door new construction, don't get to sleep in very often, they were pretty consistent with the 8 a.m. pounding. House was comfortable - thank you.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The Wheelhouse stay

The renting process was painless, the view from the patio was great! The way the house is set up with the games downstairs made for peace and quiet upstairs. My only complaint is that things listed weren't available...kayak, beach chairs and sand toys. All in, the location 3 blocks from the beach was nice and the kids had lots of fun here. Thank you!

Spring Break Family trip

The view is spectacular! We enjoyed sitting in the living room and watching waves come in. However, the furniture was not very comfortable. The pots and pan in the kitchen were very worn and not stocked well enough (no cookie sheets, foil or plastic wrap). The basement bedroom was also in need of updating. But overall, we enjoyed the location of the house. It was fine.

The area was quiet and walking along the roads felt safe. It was very easy to get to the beautiful beach. The house was pretty clean and had most of what we needed. To make the stay better, these could be attended to:Replace the cooking pots and pans. They are mostly nonstick and scratched, this is not safe. Fix the kitchen cabinet door that is broken. Supply more cutlery. Clean up the backyard. Put shades on the back deck so it can be enjoyed in the afternoon. Fix the lint catcher in the dryer. The accumulation of lint could cause a fire. Put a grab bar in the downstairs shower.All that being said, we did enjoy our stay.

Outdated and deceiving listing photos

We have stayed with Meredith Lodging before and haven't had issues, but this house was such a frustrating disappointment, if I could give it 0 stars I would. We visit the coast several times a year and do one long weekend before the end of summer and like to try new homes each time. We went 2 weeks ago and I thought I would have calmed down and just not written a review this time, but this was the most expensive weekend rental we've ever gotten and I would hate for another family to go through the same experience we did. The photos from the posting must be at least 5-10 years old and are heavily edited/brightened. We like to cook meals at the house so that we aren't eating out for all 3 meals every day, but the grill was filthy and falling apart, the kitchen was so empty we had to go get pans and supplies to cook with, the kitchen cabinets looked like they'd never been wiped down and although the place supposedly sleeps 10, there were only 6 forks...total. The carpets had dark stains all over and there were popcorn pieces in the living room from the people that were there before us, the couches were stained and gross and there were no extra pillows or linens for the extra futon bed downstairs. My husband could barely fit in the "half" bath, which was actually just a hallway laundry room with a toilet and pedestal sink. At that point, it was laughable because we kept finding more and more issues that it wasn't even worth reaching out to get resolution because the only thing that would have made it better was a different place. I wouldn't recommend this home to anyone, even if it was less expensive, I was stewing at all the other places we were considering and didn't reserve that ended up being nicer and cheaper. If it weren't for an amazing visit with family and trying to make light of a bad situation, the weekend would have been a complete disaster.

My husband and I came with 2 of our friends who have your kids. We each were able to have our own space, which was wonderful. The house was clean, comfy, and had pretty much everything you’d need! Would definitely stay here again!

It was a. Ice home and very clean. Beautiful view from the upstairs and deck. The couch is uncomfortable and one of the sleeping beds for two is a fold out futon in a closet downstairs. Other than that it’s a good place to stay
