Great place to relax and easy access to lots of fun!
I've have stayed at this resort before and always come back because I like how clean, stocked, and spacious this properties are. The view to the river was excellent. This property has easy access to lots of fun places like restaurants, bars and parks. I would definitely will go back to this property!
Lots of room for a family of four - each of our teenagers has their own rooms and bathrooms, which they liked. Private hot tub on the patio was so nice after a day skiing, view and sound of the river so peaceful. Couch and living area is very comfortable, spacious, and filled with light. Gas fireplace was nice in evening. Large dining table was great for eating and games. While some might consider the decor dated (the cabinets and carpets were a bit worn) we loved how comfortable the place was and enjoyed the space and views. Kitchen is definitely small, so we did have to shuffle around each other when more than one person in there. Probably the first rental Iâve been in with decent and sharp knives, that was so nice! Loved the stainless steel pans as I hate cooking on peeling non-stick pans that often come in rentals. Wish housekeeping was a bit more generous with dishwasher pods and coffee - not enough provided of either. Place could use some extra blankets so that you could snuggle on the couch and have extras for cold sleepers - bedding was very light. Beds were very soft - everyone but me loved them. Plenty of pillows. Heating in the third/separate bedroom unit has a standalone hotel-like heating and fan unit that my daughter said was very loud - and cycled on and off throughout the night waking her up until she figured out that she could turn the fan on so that at least it was consistently loud.
This west-facing condo complex sits high on a bluff overlooking the Deschutes River about 2 miles upriver from Bend's Old Mill District. It is a great location because of the great views of the river and the easy access to the River Trail which runs up both sides of the river for miles. 5 minute drive into the heart of Bend, and 20 minute drive to Mt. Bachelor for skiing. Condo itself was a little worn, but comfortable and clean. Would stay here again.
Photos inside and out are 100% accurate. Views and sounds of the Deschutes River below added to the pleasure of our week-long stay. Will definitely return!
