Lovely Little Stay

My partner and I stayed over Christmas. Very happy with the property, it was very well set up, clean and everything we could have wanted. Great proximity to the lake and shops. Will definitely stay again when we’re back in the area.

Backyard Oasis

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Tranquility near the Lake. The house was so comfortable and clean and we especially appreciated the helpful messages from Bernadette the owner. Having a leisurely breakfast in the serene green backyard was so relaxing. Everything we needed was provided and the photo manual was wonderful as well. We highly recommend this house and location! needed was provided

Comfort plus !!!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property . It was extremely clean and very well equipped , the backyard garden was like a little oasis . We wished that we could have stayed for a bit longer to enjoy the property and surrounds .

The house is as described, very clean and has everything you need, the garden is gorgeous! Not far from many beautiful beach and shops. Very quiet neighbourhood. Would highly recommend!

Lived up to all expectations.

The property lived up to our expectations. What you see in the promotional material is what you get. Would be an ideal location for a longer stay. The backyard garden would be ideal for simply hiding away with a good book, but unfortunately our stay was too short. Maybe another time.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location

We had a heavenly week-long stay at Bernadette and Peter’s lovely 3-bed house. It had all the amenities we could have asked for, and more - comfortable beds and couches, well equipped kitchen, large smart TV, beautiful garden setting with two outdoor tables, efficient A/C and fans, all made for a comfortable, homely stay. It was also super clean on arrival! Located one street back from the lake (with a direct path to the lake immediately across the road) and just few minutes walk to the shops, it really was the ideal location. We'll definitely be back to sunny Summerland Point. Thank you!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. House was perfect for our needs and we couldn’t fault it. It was so well equipped. Host were very easy to deal with and very quick at responding when we had to make a change to our dates.

Relaxing Shortbreak

This property was immaculate and perfectly appointed. We had everything we needed as a family of 4. The house was absolutely spotless (I wish I could have this cleaner at my house!) and the location was quiet, safe and peaceful. The quick, pleasant walk through the reserve to the shops and was a bonus. Check-in and departure was so easy. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Home away home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was like a home away home in very relaxing environment. House was clean, well presented and very well stocked. The owner went above & beyond to accommodate my request and we appreciate it a lot! We will miss the house & especially the magical garden! Highly recommend to the family with kids!

Peaceful sanctuary

The house was well equipped clean and comfortable. Electric blankets and bedroom floor rugs would have been much appreciated due to the cold weather. Owners helpful and friendly.

Excellent stay

Easy to book and pay. Friendly owners that were happy to answer all my questions. This was wonderful as it is the first time I have used stayz to book accommodation. The house was clean and very livable and comfortable. Loved the outside area. The photos do not do it justice! It’s the perfect spot In the morning with a cup of tea watching the rosellas and of an evening having a bbq with the family. I wish Summerland Point was closer to us I would book this house regularly.

Qui vous reçoit ?

Vous êtes reçu par Bernadette & Peter Hanzlicek

We are both retired and have started to travel more over the past few years. NZ has to be one of our favourite destinations & the Hollyford Track walk one of the best challenges ever! I am a mad keen bike rider and the token female on my early morning bike challenges on the weekends. Peter is a die-hard soccer (football) follower & has only missed one FA Final in the 42 years we have been together! Our 2 children are very independent & gone on to forge amazing lives. Have had some great experiences a few years back being involved with the student exchange program!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The tropical garden is private and does not have any other homes overlooking it. It is our sanctuary and even after all the years that we have stayed on our breaks, it truly is just so relaxing to sit on the deck have a tea or coffee and read a book or just look at the garden and watch the kookaburras, maggies and lorikeets come down to the rockery to splash around. All windows facing the street have been tinted for privacy. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms & living area, and now with aircon to cope with the very hot days if we have another very hot summer!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

While staying at the property you have full access to the house. You will be given an access code to open the key lockbox. The keys will open all the doors in the house & includes a remote for the single garage. Garage will fit a VW Golf/ Mazda 3 only. Please ensure all windows are closed and doors are locked when you are out. Please specify at the time of booking if you need an extended checkout.
