Good enough comms. The property was smaller than expected. The beach was a terrible and hot walk in August. Lots of pavement! If you are not focused on a beach stay it’s ok. AC master room was mediocre. They need a new mini split in that room. The pillows were awful. I wanted to be home after the first night. Never again.

The room was great, for the most part (quite a few lights didn’t work and multiple remotes for everything was a little confusing), and the host group was good. They provided great information and a few very handy complimentary items. However, although not related to the host group themselves, the hotel property staff left something to be desired. They clearly seem to hold more of a grudge against condo rental customers vs. hotel customers, with one of them even trying to con us out of money by falsely stating we had to pay him for a service that was supposed to be included (verified it was included by the front desk). Luckily, we were smarter than that and didn’t give him anything. Locations is great! Host is very informative. Room is very nice. And view is amazing. Just wish the property itself was more welcoming.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Enjoyed our stay here. Easy walk to lagoon and Duke’s beach. Stayed for a week with our college age children. Away from the very busy Waikiki beach center, but an easy walk or Uber will get you there. Very prompt and helpful response when we had an issue finding a remote for one of the fans.

The host provided all the information we needed and was very responsive. The location is wonderful and the water view is amazing! The unit had everything you needed and wonderful air conditioning! The building itself had a coffee shop, restaurant, mini mart and other services!

Excellent place to stay for a family

Everything we’re perfect, we loved the unit, we felt like home. Except one thing, the living room set is too old and it’s itchy in the skin already.

True Gem in Hawaii

Truly a great location, as advertised, and a historic hotel that has a lot of charm. The view is great! Bell man is great as well who even brought up groceries to the room. Everything about the stay there was great.
