Disclosure of accomedations not accurate. Bathroom is separate bug infested uncleaned garden shed. Lake is not clean enough to even touch or get close to the water. Front door lever will not open even with code, fortunately the side door was unlocked but we had to keep it that way with our things inside all weekend. Trespassing people were fishing the entire time. The front gate between us and people fishing all day and ALL night, did not have code lock as described it is an owners key. If you do stay here the AC will not be running and you must find the small remote mounted to the wall across the room before you hyperventilate. We had to get a cheap hotel at the same time because we didnât want to shower with the roaches, crickets and thousands of nats that come from the polluted lake you can smell the entire time. The walkways you see in the listing is a venue next door that hosts loud events with people dressed up not happy about you strolling by. Do not book this.
This was the second time we stayed here. We had to leave early because the grill wasnât working and the owner couldnât get it fixed. No hard feelings, and I would stay again if itâs fixed next time. Otherwise, we love the location and the access to the lake for fishing. Itâs nice when thereâs just us and no wedding, so we get full access to the property. Thereâs a fire pit also, and the kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making smores.
This was a very comfortable place to stay. Our boys loved the camping feel, we loved the conveniences. The grounds were big so they had lots of room to play. The bathroom was even closer than I thought from the photos. It was all very comfortable.
We enjoyed sitting at the outdoor table and chairs
We got to see a doe grazing on the grass not th at far from where we were sitting
Granddaughters want to come next year
We were in town for a convention at the Gaylord but didn't want the hustle and bustle of the resort. Loved that this place was conveniently close to the Gaylord while feeling like we were in sweet seclusion. The place was exactly as described and shown in the photos.
We came to be close to family and loved having space for our kids to run outside without the typical hotel stress of keeping everyone cooped up in a room.
Great escape on a great property. Plenty of creature comforts but keep in mind, this is camping. Restroom is separated from the yet and you will need your own cooking supplies. What you get is some piece and quiet, close to town and an experience like no other.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Cove yurt. It was quiet, comfortable, and well maintained. The property was secluded and made it feel like you had your own slice of nature in the middle of the city. The amenities provided made the stay comfortable, with just the right amount of rustic-ness. We really don't have any complaints or recommendations, although a hot tub would have made this place over the top! Would definitely recommend staying here and will surely be back.
It was an amazing experience.
The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in.
The surroundings are very quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay.
My only wish ... that the bathroom was closer.
While we did not spend a lot of time actually at the yurt, it was as expected. Restroom facility was close by and had running electric and water. Tina was a easy to reach and responded quickly to our needs. The only thing that was not my fav was the pullout sofa and/or cots. These are fine for small children but not adults! Plan accordingly.
