Horrible Stay

Our stay was unacceptable in our opinion. We found the unit was dirty, dingy, had bugs dead bugs on the ceiling, a lot of dust accumulation, a hole in the wall in the master bedroom, there is seal on the bottom of the front door so bugs were free to crawl in, dirty shower, holes in the sheet for the futon, there were broken glasses and a bowl, food on the wall, water damage on several locations, and a lot of marks and damage on almost every wall. The security lock was stuffed with tissue and painters tape. To address the problem with the door they filled it with caulk, and removed the broken glasses and bowl, without replacing them. The other doors in the unit also appear peace-mail, with the door to the master bedroom seeming to be cut from a larger door so that the handle is almost at knee level. The unit does not appear to be well maintained, and it fell way below our modest expectations for the property.

The apartment was perfect for a few getaway days at the beach. Location is great, Tomas the property manager is professional and helpful. The kitchen table and chairs could use an upgrading.

Great location, upstairs noise, poor response

Find out if children are to be in the rental unit upstairs during your stay. Everything started out great, great location. Family with children arrived on day 2. Due to the low ceiling and insulation, the noises of loud footsteps and little children running around, made an enjoyable stay very unrestful. I reached out to Seashore Rentals due to loud footsteps at 6am, they said they would reach out to the renters to assist. That evening was filled with more children running, so we left to avoid the noise. The next morning it started at 7am. We reached out to Seashore Rentals again, but no response to date. Also, the unit was filled with pet hair despite being listed as no pets. This reflects on the cleaning crew. I also voiced this to Seashore, no response to date on this. This moves a great option, to not recommended.

Great location close to beach

This is a great property located across the street from the beach. If you hop in your car your not that far away from shops and restaurants. The property had just been cleaned when I arrived and while the bleach smell was a bit strong I opened up all the windows to help with the smell. This particular unit is a bit dark but turning on the lights and keeping the blinds open helped. The bathroom is a bit tight to navigate but the two head rain shower was a nice surprise. Otherwise good size for 1-2 people. A few downsides, someone parked in my assigned spot and was disappointed the Property management company was unhelpful with this issue. This can present a problem on the weekends as street parking is impossible to find during the day. Someone moved in a day after me in the unit above. Not sure if they were trying to get their 10,000 steps a day in but it was a bit annoying hearing them walking around. Unit could do with some more hangers. Nice to have chairs and towels to use for the beach too. Overall good property, maybe stay in one of the other units next time to avoid the stomping.

Perfect place if you have a dog

The place was nice for our 3 week stay. It was the perfect location - just a block away from the beach. It was quite a small unit - but the outdoor area really made up for it, especially with our dog. Our only complaint was on the weekends. It seems that the unit upstairs was rented out to younger people each weekend that just wanted to party. Loud music throughout the night and all through the morning, and stomping up and down the stairs that were located right above our bed. This obviously had nothing to do with management, just be aware when booking for the weekends that the walls are paper thin.

Well appointed cave

The unit was small, dark, without fresh air and very noisy from the occupants in the upstairs unit. It felt more like a cave then a beach vacation. The management couldn't have been nicer but the space was much too confining for an extended stay.

Good stay, close to the beach.

Overall we had a great time staying at this property. It was smaller than we expected but worked fine. Doorway was low and we hit our heads several times going in and out of the property. Overall we were satisfied. We recommend to anyone looking.

New Port Beach

Nice place great location. Clean well stocked room. Nice court yard. There was a bike locked up in my designated stall. Made it hard to park every time. Bed was comfortable. Everything worked. TV remote was a bit hard to figure out. Nice big TV. Nice appliances.

The place in Huntington Beach was incredible had our own patio balcony place to cook out except for

VRBO was a great sight to go for finding the perfect get away. For those who like hotels once you go vrbo you won't go back to hotels or motels

Newport Beach Condo

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the courtyard space and it had a nespresso machine that we fell in love with. Easy walk to the beach, had beach toys for our 6 and 8 year old. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, Great unit!

We were very pleased with this unit. Very clean. Had everything you needed including towels, shampoo, beach towels and chairs. Great outside patio to sit on and enjoy your morning coffee or late afternoon snacks. Very close to the beach. Within walking distance to everything...shops, bike rentals, pier, food...especially Dory Deli and the 24 hr donut shop and an amazing farmers market on Sunday at the pier. There are paths to bike, run or walk so you can get your exercise in. We enjoyed our stay.

Overall pretty good

The condo was nice and clean. There are a few things that could make it better. But for the price, it’s hard to expect more Pros - so close to the beach A couple beach chairs and towels Most appliances needed Clean Parking spot Cons: No trash bags No propane for the grill The door handle did not fit the previous setting, so the open space is just filled with tissue There is a large gap in the bottom of the door ( it rained pretty hard while we were there , and the water was leaking in ) The back door hinge is coming off All minor cons, but thought it would be useful for the owner to take into consideration. Overall it was just what we needed for myself, my husband and our 2 kids.
