Shep's Quarters à Virginia Beach

Location de plage haut de gamme disponible dans le prestigieux Croatan à Virginia Beach. Une vue magnifique sur l'océan Atlantique! Wet bar sur le pont du 4ème étage. Cinq chambres, trois et 1/2 salles de bain. Grande cuisine entièrement équipée. Salon ouvert au 3ème étage, avec vue sur l'océan depuis toutes les fenêtres. Deux douches extérieures (dont une fermée) pour se rincer après le sable et l'eau salée. À quelques pas de la plage, cette beauté est suffisamment proche pour sentir l'air salin et entendre les vagues clapoter sur le rivage. Près de Rudee Inlet pour la navigation de plaisance et la pêche.
Nous mettons constamment à jour et rafraîchissons la propriété, en fournissant des meubles et des équipements nouveaux / supplémentaires que les visiteurs ont suggérés, pour améliorer l'expérience de nos clients. Great location!

House was very conveniently located, walk to beach and short drive to aquarium/shopping/Boardwalk. House needs fixing up & a makeover. Overall a nice trip. Owner is a very sweet woman who was very pleasant to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shep’s Quarters!

The quite neighborhood and the proximity to the beach were fantastic. The house was nice and spacious. We enjoyed spending the evenings in the rooftop balcony. Carol was very responsive and helpful!

Amazing!

We rented the Shep's Quarters during our son wedding. The house was clean and hassel free, which was a welcomed change of pace. The owner called and checked in with us and was attentive to our needs. We will be back to do this again. We really appreciated and enjoyed our stay.

Nice home and location

The house pretty much looks exactly like it does in the photos. It took us a while to get used to the "upside down" layout with the main area on the 3rd floor, but the home layout was perfect for our group of 10. We loved sitting up on the roof in the late afternoon and evenings. One block off the beach which was perfect for us - no driving and finding a parking space. The property owner/manager was very responsive leading up to our stay and during when we had questions. Highly recommend.

So glad you enjoyed your stay! Although there is an ocean view from the master suite on the second floor, the living area on the third floor has a wonderful ocean view, from all of the rooms. The rooftop deck has the best views of all!

Shep's Quarters 1 - Beautiful Rental Home

We've stayed in quite a few rental homes through VRBO and this is one of the nicest we've had the pleasure of visiting. Carol was very responsive to questions and quick to communicate. The upper deck was great on sunny mornings with a view of the ocean. Mind you this property is not on the beach but just a short walk away. With 3 indoor floors and the upper deck to spend time on it was possible to have a group of friends together without being on top of one another. We highly recommend Shep's Quarters 1 for your stay.

Great house, great hosts

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be able to come back again! The owners clearly communicated checkin/etc, and were able to provide a high chair to accommodate our 18mo old. Croatan is a lovely neighborhood, and we hope to be able to visit again soon. House was very comfortable. Everything was supplied as indicated. We made ample use of the decks to get some sun and enjoy celebrating with our family. Cheers!

Extended Family Getaway

This house was large enough for our group and still felt like home!! The rooms were spacious and the multiple terraces provided nice views of the surrounding area, especially from the roof deck. Our days were spent on the beach, one block away, and our evenings on the Boardwalk, just a five minute drive. Will definitely look to return in the future!!

The house was great and enjoyed immensely. There was an issue with the stove on the 3rd floor. The gas line has a leak. If the gas was not turned off after each use it leaked in to the house. It was realized when they came home one afternoon to it smelling of gas in the house. They turned it off immediately and opened all the windows. From that point on they just turned it off after each use. Other than that the stay was great.

Great Place and Person

Our group had a reservation in 2020 that was interrupted by COVID. We all are very appreciative of the ethical nature of Carol, who extended our reservation to this spring, and honored the initial pricing we had. Lovely home

We loved our week at Shep's Quarters! There were seven of us, and we had plenty of space to spread out. The master suite was as nice as a suite at a luxury hotel. We had everything we needed for fun: beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes with helmets, games, puzzles, Roku TVs, and a dream kitchen. If we could change one thing, it would be to boost the WiFi. We had three people working from home for part of the week, and the signal did not extend to the first floor bedrooms where two of them had planned to work. We shifted ourselves around to make it work, but thought that might be helpful to know. And Carol is a great host, answering all of my pre-vacation planning inquiries immediately!

Perfect Beach House!

Our family totally enjoyed our stay at this Perfect Beach House! The house was extremely clean, roomy, great beds, well-appointed kitchen, and had dazzling views of the ocean and unbelievable sunsets! The owner was attentive, gracious and flexible when we had Covid-related re-scheduling issues. We look forward to staying here again!

Loved the location, quiet neighborhood, very close walk to the beach. management was awesome and answered questions within the hour. This was the perfect house for our family reunion, plenty of room & everything we needed for our stay.

Family Visit

This is a very nice and comfortable property, and it easily accommodates multiple family groups with privacy for all. There is an easy beach access and lifeguards there.

Thank you for your patience and understanding when one of the air conditioners suddenly needed a major repair during your stay! It took an heroic effort on our part to get an HVAC technician to the vacation home and get it repaired in just a day, in this hot weather! We try our best so our guests can be comfortable and enjoy their stay. Carol

A university professor, I have traveled the world, and Virginia Beach is the place I want to be when it's time for me to retire. This is the house I fell in love with. Actually, having this property is so much fun that I purchased another home five houses away, and called it Shep's Quarters II. I rent that property out as well. Then I purchased another home! That one is Shep's Quarters III.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Shep's Quarters is my dream home! Beautiful views of the sea, and so close to the beach I can smell the salt air.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Seeing the ocean from the second floor spacious master bedroom suite, plus from everywhere on the third floor, and of course, the fourth floor deck with wet bar - well, that is spectacular!
